I have been a tenant in a Paramount maintained property for the last 3 years.
One of the reasons I have stayed so long is the excellent service from Morelle Baker and Hayley Hills.
Any problem I have had regarding maintenance of my apartment has always been taken care of promptly and to a high standard. They are always so friendly and helpful on the phone too.
I also want to mention Lucy Shapiro, as she was a great help when we had the riots in Hackney, and any other matter I have contacted her with, has also been dealt with to a very high standard.

The flat I live in has been managed by Paramount for 6 years and was sourced by Paramount in the first place. In the six years I have been living there Paramount have been great at dealing with any problems arising in the flat especially dealing with problems out of hours.
They give a really personal service and genuinely care about tenants well being. I would recommend Paramount as a Letting Agent to anybody, I must say after 12 years of renting I must say Paramount have been the best so far.Special Thank You to Hayley and the Team.

Right from the word go Paramount have provided a fantastic service something which I have not usually associated with Estate management in London. Dominic was very helpful with the initial contract setup and renewal.
In the 18 months since we have been there Hayley has always provided very helpful assistance with any issue we have had. The service has been prompt and efficient in every way.

I dealt with Rob Lazarus on a property purchase I made recently and would recommend him and the team at Paramount in West Hampstead. I thought Rob was thorough, efficient and responsive and as a first time buyer, I found the support provided by him and the Paramount team as we went through the purchase process, very reassuring. Follow-up service from the rentals team, who helped me find a tenant for my property, was also very efficient. I would use this office again for future property transactions.

I have been dealing with paramount for over 10 years. Their customer service is second to none. They produce timely monthly statements, the rent is always on time and there are no void periods between tenancies. What is amazing is the ability of Mark Durban to respond to any email request by return regardless of the time I send the email. Phenomenal service!

As a long-term private tenant with much experience of landlords who regard the simplest request as an assault on their honour, dealing with Hayley Hills and Morelle Baker at Paramount has been like coming into sunshine after the rain. Oliver Lewis was the agent on a property we were looking to buy and due to some of the survey results, there were some lengthy negotiations before the sale went ahead. Oliver kept both the buyer and seller informed throughout the process and managed to negotiate an agreement over the course of a few weeks. Another agent may not have been as patient or helpful and we could have ended up walking away from a flat which we are now very happy with.

Oliver was incredibly helpful from the start of our buying process. I felt he went to every effort to make sure the sale went through as we really had our heart set on the place we hoped to buy and it was a much needed home as I was about to have a baby.

Lionel Stoll at Paramount was acting for the seller when we were purchasing our property on West End Lane in 2010. Right from the start of what turned out to be a fairly convoluted process, Lionel was extremely helpful, went out of his way to guide us through every step, and all of this when he was not even acting for us. He was very patient and courteous in dealing with our concerns as first-time buyers, did not hesitate in expediting things as appropriate on his side, and was always prompt and responsive to all our communications. He even offered some very pertinent advice when our own solicitor was giving us trouble! We are very grateful to Paramount and Lionel for helping us get to the finish line comfortably, and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for sales / rentals in the area.

Lionel was very professional and helped me sell me property remotely from France. His advice was excellent and all the paperwork flowed correctly. The sale was quick and I managed to keep the tenants in there and sell all my furniture too, as I had suggested at the beginning.

Have been a tenant for several years with paramount. I run my own business and appreciate when companies are well organised. Any repairs or maintenance are dealt with immediately, for example this winter we had difficulty with the heating. Within 24 hours of logging the complaint a new boiler was installed and all radiators bled. I've moved twice with paramount and both occasions have run like clockwork. Very Impressed. Many thanks

Mark did a first class job in securing me a good quality tenant in challenging circumstances (the flat was in a very bad state caused by the previous tenants, so it was difficult to show to prospective tenants and persuade someone to make an offer whilst the old tenants were still there). He also assisted in arranging decorators to renovate my property very quickly, efficiently and at a reasonable price.
Mark's colleague, James Carter, also did a sterling job managing the exit of the old tenants and recovering damage deposit monies etc.
Well done to the Paramount team. I would not hesitate to recommend them to people looking to rent (or rent out) properties in north and north west London.
I have also dealt with their sales team in the past (David Warren) who also did an excellent job.

Paramount Properties assisted me firstly finding the most appropriate property for my needs. This was undertaken by Mark Durban and this was achieved with excellent advice and customer service throughout the rental process, with clear explanations if needed at every stage making my search for a rental property very easy.
During my tenancy, the issues arising from the property were dealt with by Hayley Hills very quickly, through clear and concise communications and feasible timescales explained and adhered too.
At the end of my tenancy, Mark and Hayley explained the process and everything went smoothly due to the preparation Mark and Hayley undertook. They also went beyond the service expected and arranged for utility credits to be issued directly to me without any hassle.
Overall, Mark and Hayley were great throughout the whole process and therefore I give them.....10!!

Paramount have been a refreshing change to the usual agent. We have only been in the property a couple of months, but the initial letting of the property and now any maintenance issues are resolved quickly with very little fuss. They seem to work with very reasonable landlords so the whole set up runs smoothly. The team at Paramount are professional, easy to deal with and will always get back to you on the same day. It is a relief as a tenant to find a letting agent that take away stresses rather than adding to them.

I've been using paramount for a good 3 years renting 3 bedroom mansion in west hampstead. paramount is not only having decent properties to let, also got the fabulous property manager Hayley Hills. not like other agent in other agencies, she'll be there when there's a problem in the property and happpy to give you a hand to sort things out. I have been using Paramount for over 5 years and their service has been excellent from the beginning. We initially met Spencer who came to view our flat and help us set a letting price and found our first tenant within a week. Maintenance is handled very well by Hayley who keep us very well informed and seeks our input before any major works are completed. Mark has been handling our lettings for the past few years and has been fast and efficient in finding good quality tenants. We have never had any issues with Paramount and highly recommend them. Finally, despite living out of the country, anytime I'm in West Hampstead and drop by the Paramount offices to say hi, they always welcome me as though I'm family.

I have been with paramount for over 11 years, they are great in every aspect, very professional very friendly and know what they are doing. The maintencae department is run by Hayley Hills, she is a pleasure to work with, very proffesional quick friendly, and like achieving things in perfection, thanks to her i have peace of mind in the flat. Also Mark Durban was my agent for renting the flat for all these years, he is very good at what he does, and makes sure his clients get the best possible deal, it is because of the excellent services of these guys that the customer is always happy and stays with paramount, as i did. Among the proliferating letting agents that are mushrooming around London and which servics we all have to seek every now and then, there will be always a few that try to build their success not necessarily on instantaneous profit but through establishing a relationship with their customer.
Paramount was great in this respect. Excellent service there was a continuous number of viewings throughout all time flat was advertised which resulted in a sale. I managed to receive a price at high end of valuation so was very pleased. I would definitely recommend them.

The flat I bought through Paramount Properties was the third I’d had an offer excepted on in six months. The other two, both found through other agents, fell through due to gazumping and I was particularly anxious about the same thing happening again. I shouldn’t have been – Paramount were excellent at managing both the purchase of the flat and my anxiety! They kept all on track, were calm, professional and friendly - I'd absolutely recommend them.

David was our agent and he was by far one of the better agents we were in contact with. He was knowledgeable about the market and always gave a honest opinion without having a typical sales approach. He understood our requirements and always came up with the right properties for us to view which is not something I can say about most Estate Agencies.
Even though we didn't actually end up buying through Paramount I have recommend them to my family and friends and we wouldn't hesitate using David and Paramount's services again whether it be for buying or selling our property!
There's a reason why these guys are 3rd in the UK! - 10 out of 10 for me!

Paramount were absolutely fantastic during the sale of our property. My husband was taken seriously ill during the time we were selling our flat and David was totally amazing. He worked so hard to keep things on track for us. Thankfully, having Paramount on board meant that during that rather distressing time we could rest assured that the sale of our flat would continue on without us having to do too much, ensuring that we could move on to a nicer brighter future with minimal stress.
I cannot recommend using Paramount more - they are highly professional, very personable and don't leave even the tiniest detail to chance. Having used many other estate agents whilst searching for our onward purchase I can say, without doubt, that Paramount are the best there is around. Their level of communication, service and their help in tying everything together was exemplorary. If we weren't moving out of the area I would have no qualms in my choice of estate agent when selling a property again.

My wife and I were looking to rent a flat in north west London. We came across Paramount after serching the net extensivley. The flat we requested to view was in Maida Vale, however, it wasn't suitable. The Paramount Agent was quick off the mark, and suggested a property in South Hampstead, not an area we were familiar with. My wife viewed the property first, and encourgaged me to view it with her. We found the flat, the area and the rent to be highly satisfactory. It was as if the Agent had anticipated all of our 'must haves' and directed us to a home we would be happy living in. We stayed for three years, and throughout that period, Paramount acted professionally, helpfully and reliably. We would highly recommend them as Agents.

We chose Paramount because they were the only agency in the area proposing a couple of things: (1) a reduced percentage for their fees if the property sold below a certain price and (2) a pre-contract lock-in agreement between the buyer and seller. This gave me some comfort that: (1) they were working hard to ensure maximum value for us and (2) once an offer was accepted, there was less chance of things falling through without good reason (we were up against a deadline so this was important - I guess normally this would be more important to a buyer).

I have rented various properties through Paramount over the past 9 years and have nothing but positive things to say about their service. Paramount have always been and continue to be very helpful in all areas of renting, including great assistance with the initial flat search and getting a same or next day resolution to any maintenance issues. My husband and I have rented through Paramount for the last 5 years, and have never been unhappy with their service. Their fees are sensible, their service is stellar and they have a great maintenance team on hand for when things go wrong (which occasionally, they have - as with any property).
Contract renewals and negotiations are very straightforward, and the people that work here are top notch at identifying what exactly you're looking for.

We got superb service throughout our flat sale from Oliver Lewis, our agent, and all his Paramount West Hampstead colleagues. The marketing was effective and efficient, and a great cash buyer was locked down quickly at exactly the price they had predicted, so they clearly know their market and their buyers.
But the real standout aspect of the Paramount service was the extraordinary patience shown by Oliver when helping me push through my chained purchase, thus enabling my sale to go through. Our purchase was officially via some other (useless) agent, but was in effect only made possible by Oliver's diligent efforts helping me chase down all sorts of nonsense from my vendor. This took 11 (!) months, but Oliver never gave up, and remained positive, patient and constructive throughout : a truly remarkable example of everything you'd hope for in an estate agent.Was this review helpful? I was in the market to buy a flat in Swiss Cottage/Finchley/ West Hampstead area and in a space of 6 months have seen numerous agents. You get to meet all kinds of personalities but if you want an agent that is upfront, polite, patient, punctual and guide you through the entire buying process, I recommend Paramount, especially Lionel Stoll. I bought a property through Paramount in Jan 2011. To start with the website was clear and consise and listed as much detail about the property as possible (including floorplan and energy rating). When I booked a viewing with Oliver Lewis (the salesman for the property) he was on time and waiting outside. When showing me around he gave me a clear description of the plus points of the property as well as where improvements could be made to increase the value of the property and the kind of rental figures I could get once the flat was refurbished. When making offers Oliver was always available to chat about what was happening and always updating me on the vendors situation. All in all i felt very comfortable dealing with Paramount and the service a recieved was much appreciated (especially since I was a first time buyer).

I had a really good experience when I bought the flat through Paramount (Lionel Stoll was excellent - very responsive and helpful) so I was keen to give them the opportunity to sell it. Out of the three agents who valued the property, Paramount was by far the quickest to provide the written valuation. They then moved very quickly to bring the property to market (organising photos etc) and arranged an impressive number of viewings in a very short space of time. Oliver Lewis found the buyer, he handled the negotiations really well and did an excellent job throughout the process of keeping the sale on track and the buyers happy.

I purchased a two bed flat off Paramount in March 2011. As a first time buyer I was apprehensive and to be honest I didn’t really have a clue with how to go about things. Paramount were very patient and after an initial chat and numerous viewings helped me find my ideal property within my budget. During my search I had dealings with several estate agents and I can comfortably say the most professional and knowledgeable I dealt with was Oliver Lewis, who I found wasn’t pushy or forceful and genuinely knew the answers to questions a lot of other estate agents either didn’t know or tried to blag. We used Paramount in the purchase of our property in June 2011. We had had previous dealings with estate agents in the West Hampstead area and the service provided by Paramount definitely outclassed that previously received.

We found Paramount to be the best estate agents we used to find our first property. Oli was incredibly helpful during the entire process and was always quick to respond to queries during our search. He was always honest about the properties we viewed which meant he was the most trust worthy agent we met during the 6 months we were looking. He was great at picking the right properties to show us and made what could have been a painful process a pleasant one.
However, the real value of Paramount was during the exchange and completion process. Oli drove the sale through despite having to deal with two sets of slow to respond solicitors. He really went above and beyond to get the sale through and my partner and I were hugely grateful for this.
Everyone else we dealt with at Paramount were always very helpful and it was always easy to speak to someone if our agent was out of the office or away.

The service I've received from Paramout has been excellent. They understood what I was looking for and didn't waste my time showing me properties didn't fit our criteria.

Paramount (David Warren) have sold TWO flats and rented one other for me during the course of the last two years.
The first was particularly troublesome but David, like a dog with a bone, walked patiently with me, through the particularly turbulent sale (which included a lease extension!!). He was always on the other end of the phone or returned my calls as soon as he could. His colleagues were always aware of the point of sales/lets. I am abroad most of the time but this never presented a problem as David and his colleagues handled everything on my behalf so efficiently. Talk about making life easy for landlords ( ..ladies). ! We tried two other agents to sell our flat before turning to Paramount. David Warren and the team were extremely effective, got the property under offer, and ensured that the transaction happened as smoothly as possible. If you're selling in NW6 or NW2, you've got lots of choices but few are going to offer the same service as Paramount.

I have used Paramount in the past both for buying a property and for letting, it as well as letting a property I already owned. I was looking for another flat on a buy to let basis and they found me the North West London flat immediately. I was shown a range of suitable properties on the first day but they had flagged this one up as the best. It was ideal and, after a short and amicable negotiation with the vendor, I bought it. Meanwhile Paramount found me an excellent tenant even before the contracts were exchanged! I do not see how things could have gone any more smoothly than they did. So now Paramount are letting agents for all three of my properties. As these properties are, in effect, my pension - I am a retired person - it is essential they are let to good quality tenants and this is, indeed, the case.

As a tenant, I was quite wary when I first encountered Paramount due to unpleasant experiences with previous landlords and agents. However, our agent Mark Durban restored my trust in the process; he patiently answered my questions, negotiated changes in the contract with our landlord and was always available to answer any questions we had. Thanks to Mark’s effective managing, the process was straightforward and quick.
Overall, I was very impressed with the professionalism of Paramount, from the staff issuing the contract, to being offered a confidential space for contract discussions (and tea on arrival!). Since moving in to our property, our agent has always been available to answer follow-up questions with a quick turnaround. I have been dealing with Mark Durban at Paramount Lettings for over 2 years now, where they act as the properties agent.
I am not normally one to write reviews, but I must say that Mark and his organisation have been exemplary in their level of service from the beginning. Other then performing the roles that one would expect from an estate agent (with efficiently and economy) Mark has been available above and beyond the call of duty.
He has helped my by passing my information on to other clients when they needed services such as mine (I help people with computers for a living), he has been available to offer impartial advice regarding the market, pricing and landlord relations. Paramount were really helpful with all my questions and helping to find a property. The first property I missed out on, and they called me the same day to give me details of another that I would be interested in. My rep had Infinite patience with all of my first time renting questions, even though I must have been really annoying! Never was I treated with condescension as a first time lone renter - every thing was explained to my requests.
They were really professional and had all paperwork (and explainations for paperwork) available at the appropriate times, which I have not experienced with other agents as a joint tenant, and with private rentals in the past. Even requestes for payment/cost breakdowns were emailed to me within 48 hours of request.
My rep was even helpful 5 months down the track from signing me with contacting my land lord. I would use them again.

I moved to England in August, and was put in contact with Dominic Moyes prior to the move from California. Dom was incredibly helpful before, during and after the move. As newcomers to the country, he helped our family with everything from finding a furniture company to fill our flat, to figuring out phone services. We really appreciated everything he did for our family in those early days.

Paramount were the letting agents for the flat we rented when we moved from Oxford to London in 2009. They went beyond the standard customer service, only sending us properties that absolutely met our spec and letting us view the final flat we chose whilst the photographer was still taking pictures, as they knew it was perfect for our needs.

I have just moved to london and had tried a few agents. When i met Mark Durban from Paramount i was very surprised st the astuteness of what i wanted. This became apparent having shown me only 2 properties he accurately proposed a property and location i immediately loved. Not only that he negotiated a lower rate with the landlord. Follow through was excellent, and follow up on how i was doing was a surprise and delight.
Last week i had a problem with some electrics and Paramount via Hayley immediately sent an electrician who fixed the problem only 3 hrs after i had reported it.
The general areas in the house are keep immaculate. In general Paramount have proven to be the best agent i've worked with here or abroad. And when i go to buy a property i will give them first dibs at helping.Was this review helpful? Yes

Hello
I have been working with Paramount for over 5 years looking after 2 of my properties.
I rent them out and Paramount provide a full management service. Considering i live in Hk it is hard/impossible to manage the properties on a daily basis. Paramount really have done a good job in letting out my properties. i think in 5 years the flats have been left vacant for only 10 days! I am still really impressed with this!They manage the properties well and we only had one problem in 5 years the mis-communication came due to me living abroad and the time difference being too much.
Overall i am extremely happy with their service in letting and management. If i buy another property in London i will only do it with Paramount.

I have been letting my property through Paramount for the last 10 years and have always found them to be very efficient and helpful in all aspects of rental. They have been clear and transparent about everything and always give a fair and honest appraisal of the changing markets. Also very helpful in keeping on top of the Gas Safety Certificates showing due care and consideration. They have come to know the kind of tenant I am looking for and do their utmost to find me suitable people and I have never had any gaps in tenancy. Both Mark Durban and Spencer Lawrence seem to care that they are providing a good service to their clients - on both sides. All in all a very good personal service.

I have recently moved to a new flat, managed by a private landlord through Paramount Properties. I believe I cannot praise the agent highly enough. His approach was sincere and personal, there was no stress pushed on me. Every step of the process of lending the flat was clear and well organised. As I am lending a flat for very first time this year, I had a lot of questions not only about the property or the landlord, but about the energy suppliers etc. However, I didn’t have to worry about a thing, the agent took care of everything and was very kind and helpful and he still is. The agent always provided a quick response to any queries I had - e.g. acted quickly when there was a leak in the shower, also when boiler stopped working they sent a repair man quickly etc.
The agent can always find the tenant for the property and make sure the payments are made on time.

I used Paramount to let my property in July this year and I couldn’t have done a better choice.

I have been using Paramount for over 5yrs now with Mark Durban being my point of contact for everything and everything! It seems I have been extremely lucky as Paramount are the only agents that I have let my property with and in all aspects they have been friendly, professional and welcoming. My property has been let continuosly over 5 yrs with short gaps in between of no more than a month. All certificates, gas checks etc are managed by Paramount with the least fuss. Invoices are produced in a timely manner, and I am thoroughly satisfied with the service received so far.

Paramount Properties have always been both efficient and professional in finding tenants for my properties. They have almost always arranged back to back lettings. arranged for the properties to be cleaned between lets, sorted out Gas Safety Certificates and most importantly vetted the tenants so that I have never had any problems, unlike some other letting agents who do the minimum to get the property let and take their fees.

Finding a property to rent is tough as you are frequently shown properties that don't come close to what you have asked for and so many agents don't listen to your requirements and waste your time. Then I was recommended Spencer Lawrence at Paramount and he actually took the time to listen to what I wanted, even to the point of showing me typical properties with matching requirements so I could comment on them so he could truly understand what I liked. When I first started letting I used another local agent and I struggled to let my flat.
I invited Spencer from Paramount to advise me on what to do - he was spot on with the advice and I managed to let the flat quickly with Paramount. Paramount have been my letting agents for eight years now.
Both Spencer and now Mark Durban have re-let my flat year after year with no significant gaps. I have a slightly complcated arrangement with my tenants but Mark takes all the nigggles in his stride and sorts out the problems with good grace and professionalism.
I would not even consider using another agent in West Hampstead. Well done guys.

Paramount are user-friendly, attentive and competitively priced service that I have no hesitation in recommending. I currently have 2 properties let with Paramount.
Their West End lettings are run by Mark Durban who does a really great job of letting the properties. What makes Mark and Paramount special is that they really put the client first by thinking through the issues and matters that I, as Landlord, should be thinking about, and making sure that the letting process is as smooth as possible. This ranges from making sure the timings, flat preparation and tenants starting are achievable, through to making sure that everything on the letting start-up are done - EPC Certs, Gas Certs, meter readings, everything.
Accounting and correcpondence is always accurate and kept to just the minimum required.
Mark is always available at short notice to answer queries or dumb lanlord questions.

He was not your typical agent, he was in no way pushy, and was always very honest and open about the flats we viewed. Dominic at Paramount Properties went beyond the call of duty to secure us the property we wanted, the service was so quick we were able to move within the week.
Dominic and Paramount were honest, friendly and Dominic possessed a comforting, comprehensive knowledge of the area and the property we were viewing. His communication with us after we had put in our offer made us feel at ease (seeing as we had to move by the following Monday!) and confident. He was nothing but reasurring and honest.
He gave us the time we needed to ensure that all the documentation was as it should be and always had time for us when we had a question.
The property we found thanks to Dominic and Paramount is already exceeding expectations!

Can't recommend James Carter at Paramount highly enough - a genuinely helpful and friendly agent who made what can so often be a hideous process (renting a new property) really simple; from multiple viewings through to referencing, deposit and contracts. When I had to move out of that property unexpectedly this year, James made that process really simple too - even giving up his own time out of hours to help get paperwork done and going out of his way to get things in front of the landlord for approval. A great find and hope I can find my next place with him when the time comes too!

Paramount have sourced tenants for and managed 2 properties for me, one in Acton and one in Northfileds. One is a one bedroom garden flat and the other a 3 bed detached house. Paramount have consistently exceeded expectations. There is seldom any gap between one set of tenants leaving and the next moving in, and the turnover of tenants is very low anyway. Any issues with maintenance are dealt with swiftly and efficiently. I value their service hugely, especially as I live abroad and need someone I trust to deal with the management of a significant financial investment.

Generally good, swift service.
Kept me we informed, which helped a lot as I was not in London at the time of the lettings negotiations.
Easy to talk to and reliable.Only concern: once the property was let, the tenant asked about putting a Sky Dish and Paramount (James) simply passed on the email to me. As I am not the freeholder and don't really know much about the area I simply agreed and that caused a small complication which I thereby resolved with the tenant. It would have been better if Paramount used their knowledge of the building and area and advised me.

I first used Paramount back in 2004 when I brought my first flat. I dealt with Lionel Stoll then and I was so impressed with his professionalism and efficiency that I called on him again when it came to selling - once again he was completely brilliant: polite, proactive but not pushy, on the ball, realistic - which was very refreshing after some of my experinces with other agencies - and very informed about the current market and all other aspects of selling/buying properties - I found his help invaluable throughout the process and for that reason will definitely call on him at Paramount when it comes to next selling - as will my brother apparently! I had problems with an overflow pipe and could not find a plumber to attend within a reasonable time. One phone call to Mark Durban and he arranged for Jit and Dipak to attend to the problem which thet did most efficiently and quickly. I would highly recommend them.

I have used Paramount since 2000 for lettings and have a fantastic relationship with the sales department as well as lettings. They are very transparent, upfront and truthful. I will always recommend Paramount to all friends and relatives.
Mark Durban and Spencer Lawrence from the lettings department are an absolute credit to the company. Spencer made finding a flat and organising the paperwork (both for moving in and for renewing my tenancy year by year) really easy and fast - he is extremely helpful, honest and non-pushy. In managing the property, Hayley attends to any maintenance issues in the blink of an eye - I've never experienced such efficiency. When I need to get in touch with them I never have that sense of impending doom which I've so often had with other agents. It seems to me that they really care that they are dealing with people's homes, and that they take pride in doing things properly and well.

Mark has always looked after my property, tenants and the whole letting process really professionally. Always pitched the property at a realistic rent and has achieved almost 100% occupancy for the last 4 - 5 years. Paramount are by far the best rental agent in West Hampstead, Mapesbury and Brondesbury. I have tried a few over the years and they are way out ahead. They are very professional and reliable. I would have liked to have given a better rating, as my experience of finding a property through James Carter definitely deserved 5 stars - he was proactive, refreshingly honest and friendly. When my moving date had to be postponed because of unforeseen damage done by previous tenants, he oversaw an excellent job of cleaning and re-decorating the place as necessary. I would - and have - recommend him to other people looking for a flat in this area. Unfortunately I have been significantly less impressed with the property management team at Paramount, who range from rude to incompetent. For example, I was left with a skylight stuck open for nearly a week (during which it poured with rain for two days, causing a flood in my bathroom) despite repeated conversations with Hayley in which I was made to feel like I was being extremely unreasonable and demanding. This poor customer service has been a serious let down after my wholly positive impression of Paramount prior to moving in.

My first time renting through Paramount, they made my search very pleasant, a professional service that was very efficient and quick from start to finish. The flat wasn't in a good state before I decided to rent it but they said they would make-good everything and they were true to their word and it turned out lovely. Highly recommended. i am renting a property from them - Mark Durban was extremely professional and very helpful from the very first phone call and still is now. Great experience with James Carter from Paramount. Listened properly at the outset so we didn't waste any time looking at places that wouldn't suit. Handled the negotiations really well. James is a fantastic letting agent I have been dealing with him since I first rented my flat in August this year. He is very efficient and professional at all times and has helped resolve any problems I have had. When I contact him he always takes the time to listen to what is wrong and is proactive in getting the problem fixed. For example to ensure that I could take the flat he stayed late for several evenings beacuse I was at work and could't talk to him until after 6pm he also came to work on Saturday to sign the contract so I could move in quickly. Ever since I moved I feel I can count on James to make my let a very happy one. I keep recommending him to my friends who are looking to rent a flat in London. I have used Paramount to rent my property portfolio since 1998. Throughout this changing period I have always had great service from Paramount and sound advice. They have a very strong, stable lettings team who give first class personable service and their administrative back up is good too. Paramount have an excellent website and anyone looking to rent property in NW6 is almost certainly going to come across several Paramount listed properties. I have no hesitation in recommending them for both landlords and tenants alike.
Although I have less personal experience, their sales side seems very good too.

I cannot begin to say how fantastic my experience with Paramount has been - they have really given me a whole new perspective on dealing with estate agents and have put the rest of the profession to shame! They were friendly, professional and responsive. I was contacted straight away when a suitable property became available, and didn't have to deal with the usual rigmarole of being sent something completely different to what I had requested.  a reduced percentage for their fees if the property sold below a certain price and (2) a pre-contract lock-in agreement between the buyer and seller. This gave me some comfort that: (1) they were working hard to ensure maximum value for us and (2) once an offer was accepted, there was less chance of things falling through without good reason (we were up against a deadline so this was important - I guess normally this would be more important to a buyer).
In getting the flat onto the market the service from Paramount was thorough and prompt. More importantly, once we had an offer in, they were excellent - their negotiation of the price and the advice we received in relation to that process was very clear and was proved to be correct.
My only gripe (and the reason I'm rating them "good" as opposed to "excellent") is that they seemed very busy and didn't have people available to show the flat on a couple of occasions. I also had some concerns when they proposed letting a prospective buyer get access to view the flat alone when we weren't in either. For me, that-s 10/10 for hassle free service and it didn8t cost me an arm and a leg over Christmas, as it was an all-inclusive price everything from problem diagnostics to order a new machine, installing and testing everything was working fine and taking the old one away. At the end of the day, I am happy as I did not have to take time off from work to attend to the property as it was all taken care off for me. The tenant could not have been any more delighted.
