A message to all prospective users of Omega......
I would like to give a slightly different point of view regarding Omega lettings.
I bought a flat under a property managed by Omega. And wished I hadn't. The tenants that this agency found to live there were neighbours from hell. Children jumping upon my ceiling from morning till late at night. Parties and loud music. Rubbish carried down stairs by children and when the bag ripped open - just left there. Food thrown out of the windows. A new family every six months.

OMEGA lettings helped me from the very begining of my property search and found me the perfect flat. They have since then been on hand to provide me with the support i have needed during my tenancy. For me their customer service is excellent and more importantly I always get the impression that their staff are genuine and actually pay attention to anything I have to say and not just try and brush me off. I would definately reccommend them.

As a Landlord of Omega Lettings, I was very happy with the service I received. The service from start to finish was spot on for example the explanation of the contract, the automated payments and the service calls to deal with issues with the tenants were dealt with swiftly and by good personel. They took away alot of the headaches a Landlord generally experiences and ensured Gas certificates and electrical certificates wee upto date. When I eventually got my property back after more than 4 years of service it was clean and still in good condition. Recommended.

excellent service, we had a problem with our boiler, they repaired it almost instantly at a good price. they found me good tennants, and any query i had they were happy to take time with me over the phone. great service wouldnt go anywhere else..

Refreshing to deal with honest and genuine people in this field. OMEGA manage two of my properties and i was sceptical about using a managing agent initially, but they have proved their worth and i now have total peace of mind. No money is spent unless i authorize it as i asked for it to be this way and i am also allowed to arrange inspections to my properties periodically, and so far the tenants have looked after both properties perfectly. Also OMEGAS fees seem to be very competitive compared to those of the competition.

FANTASTIC SERVICE CANNOT FAULT!!!! Overall my experience with Omega Lettings has been great. The move in took a bit longer than I thought but this was due to the landlord being overseas which they did explain from the off. They constantly got in touch with me and kept me updated from the viewing through to me deciding to take the property on. I have been with Omega Lettings for years now. They always sorted all my issues with the flats i have lived in, and fixed it , and were really good and helpful when it came to renewing contracts or moving me to another apartment. The service i was most pleased with was their is always someone friendly available to help and you dont get the attitude you get with most agencies i've been with before. They always listen and try to help the best they can. If your looking to rent i would strongly recommend Omega Lettings every time. Thanks Guys!!!!!

STAY AWAY FROM THESE COWBOYS - Read my story:
I am an experienced landlord and have properties with more than one agent.
I had two properties with Omega and was very surprised and disappointed with their service.
They drew me in saying that they will achieve the best rent for me and that they will return the property in the condition that I gave it to them. I gave them my property in a perfect condition, fully prepared in a new condition.

Since moving into my property i have been threatened with eviction the letting agent has denied that i requested the garage keys and window keys. The work that has been carried out in the property is sub standard to say the least and they have made it quite clear that all they are interested in is the rent money. I am unimpressed with way i have been treated by the agent which clearly hasn't inspected the property and tries to tell me things that i know for fact are untrue

I love it the Omega letting. I have many many broken house. I give to them they put the tenant from council in. This tenant take drugs or they drink too much. plenty stupid tenant. When something must be fixed I tell the Omega letting look you stop the complaint or i will take portfolio elsewhere. Then Harry tell me Don't worry I sort it for you and tenant stop complaining. Every Christmas I take the small gift to Harry to give to his father I say treat yourself. I buy new house it broken with no certificate but the Omega letting they tell me this is no problem. we all make plenty plenty money. These are happy times for us yes.

Omega certainly look the part, but when it comes to professionalism and customer service they are a joke......especially their so called Operations Manager. A landlord of theirs for two years and I ultimately lost money because of the type of tenant they put in my property and the damage they caused. Family run business.....and it shows.

I was with Omega Lettings for nearly 4 years as a tenant. My experience with them was always good. They were polite to me in person and on the phone. I had a few issues with my flat but nothing major. I was locked out once as I lost my key, it was around 11pm, I was a bit lost as what to do, so I called omega but can't remember who I spoke to but within the hour a nice man came and unlocked my door and let me in. That helped a lot and will always remember that. I'm now with another local agent who are not as good.

They try to be polite in what they do and make it look like they are trying to help you but all they are doing is mistreating their tenants. They seem to be more concerned about the landlords. That's why most positive comments come from landlords. They need to be more concerned in doing there job truthfully and correctly instead of misleading tenants and talking to them like they are stupid.
When you telephone for the 100th time regarding a simple repair you get the mantra of "We have other properties to maintain". Well if the tenants of other properties are all complaining at once, it doesn't look very good does it!
I have also found some staff members spend a lot of the time assuming tenants are liars or just plain stupid. On one occasion I was told the landlord must know what he is talking about as he owns his own business thus drawing the conclusion that I don't know when my heating is broken.
Plain stupid for an a estate agent to behave in this way and think that they can get away with it.

When my heating wouldnt switch on one Saturday night, i called their emergency maintenance number a a young man came within an hour (11:30pm!) to drop off two electric heaters until they got a plumber round the nextday. Brillliant service and very nice staff.

I found Omega to be the best agents i have dealt with to date. The man that carried out the viewing of my current property (Nicholas) even helped me with the delivery of my personal belongings!
Compared to Foxtons and Keatons with whom I have rented previously, I found Omega to be far more Customer focused and very helpful.

With the exception of a wonderfully polite and camp Chris and the extremely funny, down to earth and very interesting Malcolm I have found Omega lettings completely useless.
