Incompetence of this magnitude should not be allowed to operate. Check, and double check your accounts, don't believe what their auditors say they *don't* find the problems, its up to you. Customer *poor* service is all that they can provide to you.

The OM property management aka Peverel is the worst nightmare any one may have to face. They are incompetent, careless and good with drawing barrier in front of you when you ask them to do their responsibilities that they have been paid for it. Please advice your friends and families not to do any business with them.

The worst of the worst! Anyone who has ever had the misfortune of dealing with OM will instantly recognised the service is far far too expensive poor value for money and they provide a dreadful service.

Anyone in any doubt about so-called OM should visit The Truth About Solitaire website. This company epitomises Rip-off Britain. Always check when purchasing leasehold, Avoid at all costs.

An absolutely dreadful company. We are currently in the process of trying to rid ourselves of them. All owners plus commercial businesses detest them. They are a disgrace and people need to stand up for their rights. Their failure to provide receipted and audited accounts should be their downfall. Ask for them! You are entitled by law. They are very unlikely to provide them.

We have a local rep on site, any problems he will come and visit you and get the problem fix. He come to residents meeting and puts himself forward to help with residents events. I gess we are lucky and that not all their staff are as good. Would allways be nice to pay less, but we knew that we would have to pay a service charge when we purchased our flat. Unlike some who will find anything to whine about.

Allagents must add a 'no star' category to cater for OM Property management. They are the pits. Stay away. Avoid like the plague.

This is Solitaire and Peverel under a different guise, beware!!!! Look for Solitaire here, the same applies to this company. Avoid like the plague.

I am a leaseholder occupier. We have just done an RTM, time consuming but worth it. OM (mis)managed our property from day 1 over ten years ago. The mean time for estate manager was less than one year so there was no continuity of management and we never even met the last two EMs. OM had no interest in our building other than boosting the profit they could make out of us. Our new insurance premium with a European Top 20 ins co is less than 1/3 the really special rate that OM previously negotiated. The excess alone was equivalent to more than 10% of the service charge. Their other many fiddles are probably impossible to prove. Life is too short. Get rid of them and move on.

These guys are a sister company of County Estte Management (part of the Peverel group of companies) and recently took over their developments. I would advise anyone looking to buy a flat to check which company operates the management of their block. If it is a Peverel company (OM, Solitaire etc) then I would strongly advise you to steer well clear. They will make your life a misery. This company is Solitaire. Just as appalling and just as dodgy. Use at own risk, infact dont use, if anything i have to say is this.. run! hide! Escape their clutches!

Where do I begin I am actually an owner. My developement is so poorly managed. Any repairs can take weeks. We are at present still waiting for unsafe [fire risk] wiring to be done since Feb 2010. Outside cleaning poor. Lift door since last year not repaired properly. Our estate managers visits are hit & miss, he never follows through with issues. An underground gate, which leads into the main building broken now for 4 weeks. These are but a few issues with Peveral.

Keep well away - if you want to know how bad this group are check out the website www.thetruthaboutsolitaire.co.uk and see how many people - myself included - have resorted to this website for help because OM/Solitaire couldn't be bothered. If it wasnt for TTAS I don't know what I would have done. Read it anyone wiht any sense should avoid Solitaire/OM Peverel and all the other companies in the group - I wouldnt let them look after rabbits mating!

Just as bad as the old Solitaire Property Management Co. who's managed properties were transfered over to OM Property Mgmt! They are ALL part of the Consensus Business Group so really nothing chages or is different btwn these companies, they are all run the same to maximise profit with little or no regard for their customers!!

OM Property Management (aka Peverel OM) provide a benchmark for property managers to rise above, which in most cases is easily attained. They have no interest in the Tenant apart from extracting as much money from them as possible for the smallest possible return. Do not touch with a very long barge pole.

Wow - where do you start with this company - truly terrible in every respect, inflated service charges, insurance commissions of 30% - 50%, total lack of customer service, no commitment to any standards of service, dreadful staff, refusal to meet their clients and the list goes on. Terrible company, in fact they have just renamed themselves to avoid bad reviews on sites like this. This company used to be Peverel OM, they bought Solitaire, all part of the Consensus Business Group. Avoid like the plague, bad service for the high amounts paid, confusing accounts, dubious buildings insurance premiums and commissions, rude staff ... you name it they have it!

Overcharging, kickbacks, awful quality of work, failure to respond to emails, phone calls and letters, dodgy accounting practices, misappropriation of funds, incompetent staff. We are taking this company to tribunal as many others have to try and reclaim funds. Please please please do not go anywhere near a Peverel company. They will rob you blind and ruin any chance you have of a happy home life. Trust me, even if you have found the perfect home, if the property is managed by a Peverel company it ill soon become a living nightmare. Even simple tasks like changing a light bulb in a communal hallway will take MONTHS to fix and you'll be charged astronomical amounts. I am not alone, the web is full or horror stories from thousands of disgruntled Peverel/OM customers. People are fighting back but it is an unregulated industry and these cowboys continue to rip people off.
