   Having received an excellent service from Oliver James when we bought our property, they were our first port of call to sell the same house. This proved to be an excellent decision as they were a pleasure to deal with throughout the process. When we were unlucky to lose our buyer several members of their team worked energetically to almost immediately find us another buyer and we were put at ease by a real sense that they were working hard to sell the house for us. I never thought I'd say this but they thoroughly deserved the commission that they earned from the sale. I'd recommend them as your first port of call if you are selling in the Witney area.

   Not only did Oliver James failed to sell my property last year (we terminated our contract after a conversation which went "well how should i know what your property is worth, I'm not a surveyor" ) but it seems now, that it is equally hard to purchase anything from them.

   I have just come off the phone where my offer has not been forwarded because Robin believes that I don't have enough equity. How could he possibly know my financial position and is it legal for my offer not to be put forward?

   From the initial contact with Nicholas Lindsey to exchange of contracts, Nicholas and his team have been superb. Problems have been dealt with rapid professionalism and always with great regard for the pressure we were under. I would recommend Oliver James to anyone seeking the BEST!

   Oliver James are wonderful! My first experience of the Abingdon branch was when the people I bought my house from used them as their estate agent. I was so impressed that I went back and sold the same house using Oliver James. They go well beyond the call of duty to take care of you. They're fair, patient, very experienced, quick to respond, and thorough. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them. As a natural born worrier, they made the whole process of selling a house so much easier and less stressful for me.

   The Directors and their team at Oliver James provided an excellent service from the time they came to value the property through to completion. They kept me fully informed throughout the process, and gave guidance and advice that was always helpful and accurate.

   I am happy to reassure any prospective clients that they would be placing their business with a highly professional and trustworthy firm.

   Didn't pass offers to seller. Communication very poor. Sworn at on phone. General extraordinary high brow arrogance, "it's Oxford" etc.etc. My view, not honest, no integrity, not trustworthy, definitely working for their clients to achieve the highest price but not actually working hard to do that. I think they have a motto on their website about this integrity, honesty and achieving best price. At the least the latter is probably true for clients but certainly not for prospective buyers. For buyers, they will play you and lie to you any which way they can to get you to meet the asking price. I can see why they get sellers choosing them! The one I offered on is still for sale but I'm not buying through them. I can afford to be principled in a housing crash.

   Oliver James were terrible and used an aggressive sales technique, I don'y want to give too much information away but I suspect they didn't pass on an offer that I put through a while back. Also the property came onto the market after the HIP's were introduced and they didn't provide a HIP! Stay away
