As a Landlord I have found Emma to be very professional in all aspects of her job, nothing is too much trouble, I have total trust in her ability to do her job, She always goes the extra mile. Emma is the best agent I have ever dealt with in my career as a landlord.

I have rented a property for the last 2 years through Oakfield and have dealt with Karen White since moving in the property, Everytime I have contacted Karen she has been very helpful and has always gone out of her way to sort any problem out with the Landlord efficiently and quickly, she has always been friendly and courteous.

I have recently let one of my properties through Oakfield in Tunbridge Wells, I mostly dealt with Emma Burt and I found her to be professional and efficient. The property was let quickly and I was regularly updated with the referencing process. I would not hesitate in using Oakfield in the future.

I was very pleased with Oakfield, Glenn was very efficient and polite, he got all my checks and references completed extremely quickly with lots of feedback to keep me updated. I was successfully moved in within a few weeks and made the whole experience stress free, everyone at the branch are very welcoming, would definitely recommend them to others

The 5 stars are for Penny rather than Oakfield. I have had the pleasure of liaising with Penny for many years. She is invariably professional, efficient and cheerful. The accounts people are also very good. Oakfield's charges are high compared to other property management agents I use, however it's true to say the agency is well run and organized.

Oakfields have managed a flat on my behalf for 6 years. This flat has had more problems than all the others in my portfolio combined - ceiling collapse, water damage, problem tenants etc, each bringing a different issue to be resolved. I dont live in the Hastings area, so I am 100% reliant on Oakfields to look after my interests - which they have done with remarkable professionalism. I know if I have a problem, no matter how big or small, I can pick up the phone to any of the team and it will be resolved with a minimum of fuss. Shelley has been impressively professional throughout our interactions with her in relation to the seeking and securing of a rental property in Bexhill.
Unlike many companies Oakfield have provided us with one point of contact throughout, that is, Shelley. This has been extremely helpful and made the whole process extremely smooth and straightforward.
Shelley has an excellent balance of approachabilty and professionalism. She is clearly confident and capable, the sort of person anyone would want to represent their company/organisation. Such confidence in employees can only serve to build confidence in consumers and absolute faith in the organisation they represent.
Shelley has made our dealings with Oakfield to be nothing short of excellent - We would definitely use them again without hesitation and would defintiely recommend them to anyone.
Oakfield is clearly a well presented, well organised, modern, focused and well managed business with clear focus on consumer satisfaction and experience.

We have seen a lot of negative comments about Oakfield and we have had our fair share of problems but we stay with them because of the excellent service provided by Penny in their maintenance department and Cheryl in accounts. We deal with a lot of different agents and these two ladies are amongst the best in the area.

Zero problems, wonderful property, booked 2 viewings at very short notice and found our home, they stayed open late to let us go to a couple of other viewings before we came back and even though it was late in the day contacted the landlord and sorted out the paperwork for us to confirm we could move in! Everything was easy to do and the staff were all really helpful. We've had an inspection which was really pleasant, informal and quick.

i have used oakfield on many occasions to find suitable tenants for my properties and without exception have done an amazing job. i mainly deal with shelley clemans at the bexhill branch who keeps me up to date with viewings and i have always found her very efficient. The tenants found for me have been thourghly vetted and i have had no problems with them. I have also used the Hastings branch and found them to be just as helpful.

Very poor service, had high hopes when they took over mansgement
of the block but they've just left me disappointed and angry that it is deemed reasonable to have had leaking windows for the last six months!! Staff have a bad attitude and very poor customer relations. Its amazing how much bad press there is about them yet they're allowed to continue and people still choose to let from them. Well what can I say, totally incompetent, did not know the Law was only interested in me agreeing to market with him, their fees seemed reasonable but when you broke it down the charges were astronomical, the professionalism was not there , I assumed new kids on the block would have been good, just new kids that was it ..... Not going to use them and would be surprised if anyone else does..

all they want is your hard earned cash to pay for their manicures and booze. They give you hope that you will get a flat, but they just rip you off with holding fees and adminstration yada yada. Me n my partner were told that we just needed references from our landlord, who refused to help, and we got told off by the oakfield staff and they banned us from ever go to them again, and then took our money. Great customer skillr yeah? I warn every1 to see these bastards. Btw their flats are very poor standard.

Bad, unprofessional and incompetent service from start to finish. I am so happy to be finally rid of them. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. They loved to get their hands on as much of my money as they could. I was even refused a basic copy of their rental agreement to read over the night before. I came from out of town and was desperate to find a place as soon as possible and they took full advantage of my situation. I moved into an flat which was filthy, with mould on the walls and ceiling. I couldn't even have a hot shower when I moved in because both the shower and sinks electric hot water units were broken and had to be replaced. Just shows how little they cared about me as a customer. You seems like you are are obliged to stick by their rules, but that they are a law unto themselves. They don't deserve to be in business.

Unreliable, unprofessional, ignorant, extremely poor customer services and generally incompetent. We had an appointment to see a property at 5.30pm. This appointment had been booked for a week. I had to drive over an hour to attend to this appointment. At 5.25pm we were waiting for them by the property and the lady from the agency phones and tell us that she will be at the property very shortly (we were there already waiting for her). At 5.30pm the lady from this estate agent calls again to say that she has now spoken to the vendor and it is NOT convenient to see the property at this time!!!!... (read more)

dreadful service provider from start to finish, agent could not answer any of my questions when i visited the prospective property, the customer service was appaulling! disgusting and degrading handling of prospective clients discrimination at its absolute worst....avoid avoid avoid

Terrible service, told us a flood that knocked all the electrics in the flat out wasnt an emergency and to wait till monday (from friday evening), rather than find out which tenant is causing problems they tar you all with the same brush and send harrassing letters 23 in 3 years! We were told there were certain perks and features of the property that turned out to not exist, there response was " weve changed the tenancy agreement" And now they are trying to claim all of our deposit back for a dirty extractor fan, footprints on the *CLEAN* floors and things that were broken when we moved in, cannot speak badly enough about this company avoid, previously used smart property who were by the way brilliant not 1 issue.

Very poor company run by young kids with no property knowledge or customer skills, quick at taking your money but useless service, the most expensive agent with the worst service. Avoid!!

I found the staff in the Bexhill office both friendly and professional, they went the extra mile for me by getting viewings booked in at very short notice, they drove me to and from all properties, and followed up with me first thing the next day. Excellent service.

Oakfield manage seven properties on my behalf. I have found them to be very professional over the last two and a half years, albeit one minor hiccup!
I think it's unfair to judge an agency on the fashion sense of there staff!!

I rented a property through Oakfield and found them to be helpful. I found a property in the morning and by 12pm all the paperwork was complete. I stayed in the property for 6 months before moving back home with my parents and had no trouble getting my full deposit back. It seems people are all too quick to jump on the put down Oakfield bandwagon without actually renting through them.

An awful company for all aspects of property. Operated with a bunch of kids not long out of nappies who have poor customer skills. Very bad at responding to calls and enquiries. This lot are more bothered about their own image than selling / managing or letting properties, avoid!!!

 and I feel Oakfields are with my every step of the way - emails are answered in minutes, and sound practical advice is offered without prompting.

At 5.30pm the lady from this estate agent calls again to say that she has now spoken to the vendor and it is NOT convenient to see the property at this time!!!! so we will have to rebook another appointment on a different day. As I said, we booked this appointment with days in advance and it was confirmed to us. We went straight into the branch in Eastbourne and queried an explanation. The explanation given was that this was outside their control as they had confirmed the appointment with the vendor. When we asked how they did this confirmation, it transpired that they had left a message on the vendor's answering machine. That was all! Great hard work for their money, eh? This is what they call a "confirmed appointment". When I queried this the lady from the agency started shouting at me (great customer services...NOT!!). I suggested that they bought a diccionary and read what the word "confirmed" means. They obviously have enough business in the current economical times to treat potential cash buyers in this way. I honestly would not market my garden shed with them. They cannot even liaise with a vendor to confirm an appointment, I would never put such an important transaction as is the buy or sale of a property in their hands. Completely unprofessional, ignorant, rude and incompetent. They wasted my time, petrol and patience, so I strongly recommend to avoid them!!
