I was really misled by these agents - when signing a 6-month contract, they assured it was a formality and it would be definitely renewed. I furnished it, enrolled my son in a local school. Then, a week before Christmas, they send a letter saying that they won't renew it (certainly not due to non-payment as my rent was paid by standing order). They have now re-advertised the property for more money! I had to find another property over the Christmas period and have now moved - Northwood are now bombarding me with threatening e-mails because I moved out before end of the tenancy.

I found this letting agents extremely helpful. I have had my property advertised with other agents in Plymouth and this is by far the best. The staff are very helpful and professional at all times. I used their contractors for cleaning and maintenance and I have to say it was all sorted out without any hassel.Thus far I am very impressed with the service I have received and would definately recommend them.

I am a student and I was looking for a place to rent and found other students who had found a place with Northwood Luton and it is a very nice house. However whilst living at the property, there were many problems - leaking toilet, no wheelie bins, no curtains ad no wardrobe. I basically had a room and had to dump my stuff with no storage space. The employee who recommended this house was absolutely RUBBISH!! She was rude and completely pointless. I would never use this agency again and would highly not recommend it to anyone else.

I have rented out my property through Northwood for nearly 8 years and have no complaints, only praise for the manageress and staff of my local branch: regular reports; prompt responses to tenant / my requests for repair work; hastening of rent (when required); and always made to feel welcome when I dropped by. Despite trying a couple of different landlord options, I always felt that the service was tailored to my requirements; this was especially important as I lived 3500 miles away! Thanks Patricia, to you and all the ladies!

I am glad that I have just signed up with them to rent my current property in Boscombe. The staff is very helpful and I do hope they are going to solve my current problem in a manner of time (which is not a very big issue at all but for me it is important).
For the first times they didn't respond me back to my first 2-3 emails but after these I have received their answers very soon (in 1-2 days) when I asked for some help in emails later on. It seems a good and professional team.

After an e mail enquiry, a Northwood agent called us to set up a viewing for a property in Liverpool, and also suggested a viewing on a second property straight after. Several calls and e mails passed between Northwood and us to set this up. When we arrived, no one met us us, so we rang the office. They told us no one was booked to meet us, and anyway the place they had suggested to us had already been sold. No apology was offered; rather, they told us that our e mail and phone number were not on the system so they couldn't confirm the booking with us, despite all the phone calls and e mails between us. We'd got out of bed at 7:30 on a Saturdayand wasted 11 quid on a taxi for nothing - will not be using this agency ever again.

DO NOT GO WITH NORTHWOOD !! the positive reviews are all by northwoods agents.
Had problem after problem and when we tried to tell them we were ignored.
Finally we got through after holding back the months rent.
We were met with undermiming emails that included threats and harasment.
You can not win with this company .terrible.you all have been warned.

Having just escaped from a 6 month tenancy with Northwood I feel others should know that this company has very little customer service. They do not inform you of anything negative about the let (in my case that the neighbour from hell lived downstairs) Dog Barking and shouting all of the day and night, and that the previous tenant left for the same reason. They offer very little assistance in getting things done, On giving notice,( for 2 reasons) 1. neighbour from hell, 2. A my way or no way attitude from Northwood. they use every excuse and no common sense, for daring to give notice. They even insisted on my getting the keys back and returning to the flat to secure a smoke alarm to the ceiling even though they knew it did not work. They say it is not their responsibility to ensure the flat has a (working) smoke alarm - just a smoke alarm - Apparently Health and safety laws do not apply to them????

A lot of mixed reviews for Northwood Aberdeen, I would recommend any landlords and tenants not to take the risk of using Northwood Aberdeen.
I had to lodge a complaint with the Property Ombudsman so luckily didn't end up losing money (in fact gained slighly more). But this was no thanks to Northwood Aberdeen and the manager and his lackeys. When I complained to them and then Northwood Head Office about the state that the tenants had left my property in, they refused to accept any responsibility. Fortunately the Property Ombudsman agreed with my complaint. A lot of hassle though so only use if you want to take the risk.

Fantastic company to deal with, i cannot praise them enough. very friendly & nothing is to much trouble. There response and instructions are immediate and keep you informed of everthing. wish all agents were like this. Northwood, Cheltenham, manage our property very efficiently and in a very warm and helpful manner. From finding tenants, through guiding us through the paperwork and then managing the let (often the bit that falls down with other agencies), they've always been knowledgeable and helpful. We're abroad and so they take this into account when ensuring that any issues are dealt with quickly. They proactively come to us to ensure the house is kept rented and in good order. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to prospective landlords and tenants alike.

Northwood Cheltenham is a very proffessional outfit. Nikki is a well informed and straight talking lady who will help you decide upon which of their management schemes is best for you. The inventory they produced was extensive and detailed, so that any possible contentious issues, in the future, can be readily resolved. They executed background checks on potential tenants to ensure that we got precisely the right sort of tenant. They inspect our property every 3 months - this lets us know if there are any maintenance issues - it also reassures us that the tenants are keeping the place clean and tidy.
We have used other agents in the town before, but none have provided us with the professional and complete service that Northwood offer.

Northwood managed my property for 8 years while we were abroad. Overalll I was satisfied with the handling of leasing our home, the tenants and any issues which arose during this period. Sometimes there have been slight hiccups, but Northwood were quick to respond and rectify any issues.

I have used Northwood three times for tenant Introductions.

When they got my first tenant, they made a bad mistake by handing over
the keys BEFORE the lease was signed.
Then, on gaining access to the house, they told the tenant there was an infestation of mice.
I had to call out the Pest Control Officer who said there was no such thing.
I lost that tenant and had to use Northwood to find another urgently. So they
were paid two fees in the space of 6 weeks.

We wanted to say how impressed we were with the level of service we received from the whole team at Northwood during our recent search for a new tenant.

All our dealings with the office were professional and friendly and we were offered advice and support throughout the whole process.

They were aware that our holiday plans coincided with our tenants moving in, and went out of their way to accommodate this and make it as simple as possible.

Once the tenant moved in there was one hick-up with the rent and Northwood had resolved the problem within 24 hours and kept both ourselves and the tenant up to date with what was happening.

During our time as Landlords we have dealt with a number of local Agents, and the level of service and professionalism provided by Northwood far outweighed our previous experiences.

We would have no hesitation in using Northwood again or recommending them to our friends.

Big mistake using these guys. I should have looked at the reviews for this branch before signing up with them.

Took 3 weeks to get a washing machine sorted, now its taking over 4 months to sort ot a condensation problem at the property. All the while the water is spoiling the property and cauasing mould to grow in the flat. They seem to excel in wasting as much time as possible, all the while collecting as much rent from you.

My girlfriend and I were moving from Dublin to the Wokingham area and were in contact with more than 5 agencies that service that area. When we got thru to Nick Harris at Northwood in Wokingham we found him and the team there very responsive and quick to action.

As we were only there for 4 days we wanted to see as many properties for rent within our spec and budget. Nick was able to advise on properties help by other agencies and after showing us one that we thought we would like but after seeing didn't Nick was quick to grasp our key wants and showed us a 2nd property that was spot on(which we are now offering on).

Northwood's fees were by far the most reasonable of the 5 local agents we met with and for the service we are happy to pay them. If you’re looking for letting expertise in this area I would start with these guys as you might not need to go anywhere else...service is above and beyond 5 stars.

We have let properties with Northwood since 2005 and have been very happy with our service from all the team at Hewlett Road Cheltenham. They are polite and professional and do what they say they are going to without hassle. We had to work closely with Northwood when fixing up our first property and they made things easy for us with names of contractors and helping us to get the best price for the work undertaken. Nicki, Patricia and the team make things easy for us to let properties and take the hassle out of being a landlord. Highly recommended.

I have just completed an 8 month tenancy with Northwood Wokingham, unfortunately the Landlord wanted to sell. I have rented quite a few times and I have to say I was 100% happy with the service I got from everyone in the team, especially Teresa. I needed the house quickly so she did everything so I could move in quickly, the moving in pack was very useful and I also got help if I needed it, quickly and with a friendly manner. Even more impressive was the checkout, which I always dread, but Teresa made this as easy as possible and did all the communication with the landlord, who wasn't the easiest and got my deposit back for me quickly and pretty much in tact was is always very gratefully received. If you want a friendly professional service I would definitely recommend Northwoods Wokingham, I just wish they could have found me another property so i could have stayed with them!!

Although i am not a landlord any more, i am currently a contractor for 9 local letting agents with northwoods being one of them. i have found that over the years i have seen many properties from various agents that do not always come up to the standards that you would expect when moving in.

All of northwoods properties we visited are in great condition, well managed and quality checked. i would 100% recommend northwoods of cheltenham at every opportunity and i continue to do so as they always strive to reach the highest standards and customer service available in todays property market.

always polite and friendly. Asked when acccess required and gave reasonable notice of visits. Very helpful on termination of tennancy, offering suggestions and advice on how best to maximise return of deposit. I've been a tenant for 4 years now and i've nothing but praise for the team at Northwood in Cheltenham. They are always willing to help if required, and they are extremely pleasant to talk to.

For anyone wishing to look for a property, or are in need in renting a property out, the team in Cheltenham are the ones to go to. They're professional, but down to earth, and are willing to go that extra mile. Its not just me either, as several of my work colleagues rent through Northwood too, so they must be doing something right

Although I can only judge on the beginning of renting a property I have to say that I have found Northwood to be very thorough in all of my dealings with them.
Throughout the application process they kept us informed of what stage it was at and they provided us with our move in date as soon as they could.
On moving day, we went in to sign our contracts and once again the service was first class. We have only been in the house 3 weeks but we are very happy. I hope the first class service continues!

I have used Northwood Lettings as a tenant for 6years now and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The directors of the company are great people to deal with and all of the office staff have been extremely helpful to my needs/requirements and nothing is too much trouble. The communication between all of the staff and myself has been exceptional and I would not want to rent through any other agency.

My previous dealings with branches of national chains in Cheltenham in the past have been mixed going from the indifferent to the appalling, as a Landlord I have managed the property myself for the last ten years. However as the market has become more competitive and my main job more demanding I decided to give Northwood’s in Cheltenham a go. The decision was initially based on their location to my home and to the rented property, I walk pass every day which makes communication very straight forward. The staffs are very motivated, efficient, proficient and consistent, displaying a real genuine talent for customer satisfaction unlike the corporate clones / clowns you see elsewhere. I have now used them for three lettings and will continue to use them.

I have been in my residence for 6 months and as this was the first time living independently was very apprehensive. Northwood were very understanding and helpful. They explained all i would need to do regarding bills and council tax and did not make me feel worried. The property was very clean and tidy when i moved in and Nothwood have been very flexable, alowing me to make it my 'home'. I am very happy here and have just signed a new 6 month contract. I chose Northwood because I was moving out of the country and by using their Platinum rental scheme, it meant that I would be guaranteed rental every month, so no fears about my mortgage repayments. I have now been with them for 5 yrs, and I am very happy with them, they keep me informed when tenants leave and when new ones move in. Due to time difference I am kept informed via email, and any questions/ concerns that I may have are quickly answered. During my time with them I have only felt the need to phone them a couple of times, trying to sort something out.
You do hear some horror stories about becoming a landlord and what some tenants are like, but I’ve either been lucky or Cheltenham’s Northwood agents are doing an excellent job and if I had another property to let, I would not hesitate to use them.

We have used Northwood for several years. They have always been extremely efficient, helpful and friendly. They inspect the property before letting and keep detailed records of condition. They then carry out regular checks to ensure that the tenant is keeping things in order. Any problems are dealt with pragmatically and they always keep us informed of what is going on.

I have no hesitation in recommending them

SIMPLY THE BEST!! A thoroughly professional service!! When looking for a property in the Cheltenham area, I had no experience or any idea which parts of it to look at. As first time landlords, Nikki and her team have been exceptionally supportive and helpful to my husband & I. We needed to make a very important lifestyle change, which depended solely on renting out our property to our ‘perfect tenant’ at the best possible price. Nikki especially, was really patient, honest and knowledgeable throughout the whole process and always had our best interest at heart.

The team at Cheltenham Northwood were always on hand to thoroughly discuss and offer advice on even the smallest of issues and were very prompt and proactive in communicating with us and keeping us in the loop.

We’ve never been made to feel as though we are just another landlord or property on the books at Northwood and we’ve really felt valued and looked after as a client. Nikki and her team have an exceptionally strong work ethic and standard of service which in rare and extremely refreshing in this particular industry!

Northwood in Cheltenham give an extremely good and personal service, and look after my best interests. I have been with them as a Landlord for 7 years and was convinced then that they were the best letting agent in Cheltenham and am still convinced. I am currently abroad and I find it quite frustrating to do business by emails, though generally it works ok, but just recently when I was trying to sort out new contracts, Nikki was kind enough to phone me and explain everything to me and I now feel re-assured regarding the way forward. I would recommend the “Platinum” scheme which gives a guaranteed rental payment, even between tenants, well worth a little less payment to know that it will come in each month. Northwood appear to be the only agents that do such a scheme.

As first time Landlords my husband and I were a little aprehensive about dealing with the "unknown". However when we met Nicki from Northwood Cheltenham all those worries did go away.
From our first visit into the Branch the week before, my husband and I have been very impressed with the service that we have received. They listened to us, understood our criteria and as promised have been in contact when they said they would.
Nicki viewed our property and took the time and effort to explain the positive and negative of being a landlord, which has been very much appreciated. Most towns have plenty of Agents, Cheltenham is no exception, however we only met with Northwood and one other.
Our quotation was emailed only an hour or so after Nicki left which gave my husband and I time to digest and plan and I am pleased to say that we are instructing Northwood to be our Agents and feel reassured that we are going to be very well looked after.
I would highly reccomend!

Use at your own risk! One star really is a rating too much for these con-artists!
Upon moving into the property we rented on Bostock Avenue,we found the place to be absolutely filthy.Encrusted dirt,grime and used chewing gum stuck to skirting.Blu-tac marks all over the dining room walls and a filthy carpet.The oven was unfit for use and took me two days to clean adequately,there was food debris in cupboards.
The downstairs toilet didn't flush,the fridge supplied actually belted out heat!

I have recently purchased a property through the Wokingham branch. We encountered some difficulties along the way (solicitors being very slow) but I have to say Nick at Northwood did an excellent job of managing all the parties involved and getting them moving, Its refreshing in this day and age to encounter such a professional attitude and also very quick responses (always getting back the same day via email).

I found on a few occasions that emails were sent well after office hours, meaning that they are often able to put in extra effort when required.

I would highly recommend this agent and would use them again.

AWFUL these people had no clue what they were doing...my fiance ended up renting a cute cottage from them cuz i was moving to england for 6month but the problems were from the start!.My fiance started doing the paper work in mid janurary and should have had the keys to the place by the 15 or 16 of feb but no they messed him about til almost the end of feb an then the woman who was there to do the sign over had no clue what she was doing she did not have the electric or gas on "we had to do pre-paid gas and electric" she said she was trying for a hr to turn on the electric turns out... The Northwood branch in Leeds have been managing my property for the last three years during which time they have been nothing but an absolute delight to work with. The friendly are professional team are always happy to help and nothing is too much trouble for them. Northwood have unfailingly provided an excellent and efficient service during my two years as one of their tenants. The staff are friendly and very helpful and all aspects of the tenancy including contract, periodic inspection visits, problem solving and deposit refunding were undertaken with great professionalism and discretion. Of the letting agents I have had occasion to use in the past, Northwood Leeds have been the most outstanding and I would have no hesitation in recommending their services to anyone.

I was recommended to use Northwood to act on my behalf when I left England to live overseas. They provided me with an exceptionally high standard of service and I have no hesitation in recommending them to any prospective landlord. Living overseas meant I had to have complete confidence in the agent looking after my best interests from ensuring a regular rental income, property inspections and thorough vetting of tenants. They matched all of these criteria and I never had any problems throughout the rental term. I used the Platinum Service which offered me the best option. I was so pleased with Northwood that I asked them to act as selling agents and once again they came up trumps ensuring a successful sale. Particular thanks to Hannah at Northwood who was always available and dealt with all matters relating to the rental and eventual sale extremely efficiently.

I had to rent a house urgently last October and I found Northwoods Wokingham absolutely brilliant to deal with, they got together all the paperwork together for me quickly so I could move in a couple of days, and when I had any issues with the property or the landlord they were always very quick to respond and were always helpful and solved my problem.

Unfortunately I had to move out a couple of weeks ago because the landlord wanted to sell, and Teresa always kept me in the loop and helped me confirm final dates, checkout etc, and then when it came to the worst part, the checkout which I dread, Teresa was with me every step of the way dealing with the landlord, giving me advice and also worked with me to make sure I got my deposit (pretty much in tact ) back for me. I have rented a few times and I have to say this was a far superior service to anything I had received before. I fully recommend them.

- Told different things by different members of staff,

- Absolutely no communication within the company,

- Changed their mind regarding items on the inventory (first said they would be removed then said they had to stay)

- Showed round a property by someone who, it transpired, knew nothing about the property,

- Refused to refund our holding fee when we changed our minds due to them not telling us the correct information,

- Finally agreed they would go by what they first said, only to mess us about with the moving dates,

- Changed their mind AGAIN regarding items on the inventory (after agreeing to remove items then said we had to keep them and should store OUR items in an outside shed,

- Altogether rude and patronising staff,

- The person who showed us round clearly didn't know what he was on about.

Do not deal with these people!! These agents are possibly the worst I've ever dealt with as a tenant. I'm currently having to deal with Northwood / landlord (lived in the house previous) / neighbours communicating and reporting to each other on our activities (albeit we're perfect tenants), which I find intrusive and beyond any decent code of practice. All they seem bothered about is taking as much money as possible without providing any kind of service that would be expected of a letting agent. I'm lucky to have found a new property with a letting agents that look after and respect their tenants privacy and right to live in quiet peace (as in the landlords obligations). I feel sorry for any tenant or landlord that has the unfortunate luck of dealing with these people.

This company has no shame about the way they behave. They let my flat to the most appalling people telling me they were private tenants, when in fact they were DSS. They also misinformed me about how much rent they were getting. When these tenants were evicted, they did hardly anything to get my place back to the way it was. Terrible Terrible Company. I recently rented a property through the Wokingham branch. The service I experienced was excellent and I would highly recommend this branch. The service was professional and friendly from first viewing through to (the very prompt) return of the deposit. Any issues (for example the water pump stopped working) were dealt with extremely quickly and with consideration of the potential inconvenience. Northwood (Newcastle) has been a pleasure to work with and have made renting my property hassle free and enjoyable! They are always available to answer my questions and I was over the moon when I went round to start a new contract with them to see the house was in better condition then when I left it !
If you are considering renting out your property in the Tyne and Wear area go with Northwood. I did thorough research and they were by far the best agent to go with. I can certainly recommend the "Platinum" package as it ensures regular payment and is particuarly useful if you want a second mortgage as the rent is guaranteed from a mortgage lenders point of view. I hope to rent my second property with them in the near future. A big thanks to the whole team.

Avoid avoid avoid. I viewed a property with this company - by one of the managers. He told me that the garage to this property didn't leak and was in fantastic condition. As I want viewing this property in the summer I trusted his word- completely. I stored my belongings in bags and cupboards in the garage. When I went into the garage 5 months after moving into the property to which it belonged, to retrieve some items, all my items were wet, awful smelling and covering in orange, white and black mould. Do not use this agency!!!

My husband and I have received appalling service from Northwood Dundee and when trying to cancel our contract with them, because we can no longer trust them to carry out the job in which we pay them to do, they have a very unfair clause in our contract which stipulates we cannot break the agreement until the current tenancy is over. They also have another clause in the contract which stipulates we cannot provide the current tenant which they have found for us with a new tenancy agreement during the first 6 months after their end of tenancy date.

All the staff are first class and go the extra mile. The longest period without a tenant has been one week and that was my choice. They keep me abreast of the everchanging regulations at no extra charges. Compared with other agents I have used in the area they are head and shoulders above them. No hidden charges, their written agreements correspond with what is agreed verbally, no hidden small print. Very honest. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

It appears that looking through Northwood's reviews they have become steadily worse through 2008-2010, so I have to ask myself, 'are they giving bad service due to the company having financial issues along with the world wide economy?' I have called in to the office, phoned and written to them repeatedly over the past few weeks and am constantly fobbed off with their lack of knowledge and records of agreements. Once they ask who is calling, they always say the manager is 'out of the office'. He needs to 'man up' and take it on the chin and stop hiding behind his ill trained staff. Maybe he should get of his horse, take off his stetson and stop running a cowboy outfit!

1 star is too much!! Terrible, Useless, they don't care - they just want your money. Authorisde repairs without landlords permission, take the bill out of your rent and then send you the invoice with a letter stating - further to our recent communication. They never call you. If you ring to complain they pass you round the houses, say they will call back and then don't.

Staff rude and confrontational - no customer service skills.

Have been with them 3 years, platinum plan. Huge mistake, rarely do I get a full months rent. There is nothing platinum about the plan except how much money they make out of you.

We firstly rented our property using the Platinum Package and then subsequently sold our property through Northwood. We found all the staff to be extremely responsive and professional at all times. Our property was on the market less than four weeks before we accepted an offer after having numerous viewings (which were arranged and conducted by the Northwood staff). We couldn't find fault with either the lettings or sales departments and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family. In difficult times, the Northwood staff took all the stress out of both renting and selling property and we couldn't have been happier with the service that was provided throughout our two years of dealing with Northwood. Absolutely awful. The list is endless. We rented a house from them a year ago and the outside tap didn't work from the beginning, they eventually sent someone out and he said due to the cold weather the tap had cracked in places and needed replacing. It wasn't replaced in the 6 months we lived at the property. At the end of that tenancy they asked us to leave the premises two days before our tenancy expired (and the day we had come home from a holiday) so as you can imagine it was a big rush to get out of the property to help them out. They simply won't maintain the property. It took over 6 months to get the heating working, another 3 months to take the radiators away. They blame the workmen all the time, then blame you - saying you weren't in (when you know you were). We have had to rectify so much ourselves at our cost, because they simply blag you for months on end - never send anyone round.

I think you'll find, if you look closely, a lot of the reviews about Northwood were written by Northwood.

These guys are an absolute joke. Will never deal with them again! They constantly need reminding of things you've asked, they're always passing the buck. Maintenance a joke - 2 weeks minimum before anything is sorted, including washing machines, showers etc. Maintenance is outsourced and so they have no control over timings etc and the maintence staff lie about phoning tenants etc. They blame the house owner for slow communication...not true. Charge you every 6 months for renewal contact fees and their inspections every 3 months pick up faults you have already noted in your original inventory (make sure you keep a copy!). Also charge you if you don't return your contract quick enough. Try to charge you for anything they can damage wise, even if it is not damaged they charge you for a specialist coming out to check it isn't damaged! New problems started just after contract renewal, so wishing I hadn't signed now!

It took them 2 months to fix a leaking bath, from me giving the go ahead to the bath being replaced. In this time the tenant couldn't use it without flooding the flat below. The workmanship was terrible, and it took me a further 7 months to get them to put it right.

Northwood Liverpool are one of the best letting agents I've used in the Merseyside area.
Leanne and the team are totally commited to customer satifaction, I've been with them for a few years now (Platinum sceme) and they are always polite, cheerful and professional in what they do (something you dont see nowadays!!!)

Had an issue with shower in the property, but this was dealt with same day by there approved tradesman and was very reasonable, clean and professional.

They do exactly what it says on the tin: "Relax we"ll take care of it"

One star is too good. Where shall I start, hidden charges which you're not told about before signing the contract like renewal fees and even fees if you don't sign and return paperwork within seven days. Maintenance is terrible, two weeks without a washing machine and a week (and counting) without a shower...gutter is broken and causing damage, reported by not attended to, now I wonder who will be charged for that. A 'not bothered' attitude from staff after renting from a wide range of private landlords and estate agents, it is official - NORTHWOOD are terrible! Rent with them at your own risk (and sanity).

They charge you for anything and everything they can, they even charge you for renewing your contract every six months. They are constantly inspecting the property which feels like a real invasion of privacy. Our property is run down and obviously has been neglected whilst it has been rented. We were new to the letting market and after contacting a number of agents, a friend recommended that we try Northwood.

They gave us confidence that we would not need to worry about the property from the first meeting and made the process very easy to understand.

The service we have received has been nothing but professional and friendly. We took the decision to take the fully managed option and have not regretted it.

We have since renewed our agreements with Northwood a number of times even adding a second property to their books and would not think twice about renewing again!

I have dealt with two Northwood offices, one in Bournemouth and one in Wokingham. The Wokingham officehave been all that a landlord could expect and a lot more too - professional, competent, friendly and fair. I now only deal with Wokingham and could not recommend them more highly.

The complete letting process was smooth, professional, and trouble free. Northwood project a professional image, and conduct themselves in a professional manner. Nothing but praise for them during these initial stages and surprise at the speed with which they sourced a tenant.

In the three years Northwood's Wokingham office have been managing my buy to let property I can whole heartedly say it has been a pleasure dealing with their personable staff. I've been pleasantly surprised by the level of professionalism and thoroughness Northwood have demonstrated on many an occasion. From first hand experience, I can vouch for the high regard both tenants and neighbours hold Northwood staff in. I can not recommend them highly enough.

The team down in Edinburgh is terrible. Poor communication skills. They all say different things, they use a threatening approach, for example l reported a vaccum cleaner that was not working properly and the 1st thing l was told was ' just to warn you that if the vaccum cleaner is working we will charge you

I paid in a deposit to rent out a property, than I got a phone call that they are very sorry but someone else was first. Apparently for four days the agency "forgot" that the property was already taken! I was so angry as this messed up my plans.
