I have been dealing with the letting department of Northwood over the past few years at all times, I have found them courteous, efficient and professional. My Rented apartment was well managed and all of maintenance issues and general query were dealt with promptly and to the highest standard.I further more received plenty of feedback regarding issues which may of occurred whilst living at the above mentioned address.I would highly recommend Northwood lettings to anybody looking for an efficient and trouble free service.

Terrible dealings - the list is endless. Almost non-existent communication, they ignore emails and messages left on their answering machine, their inventory had nearly 100 errors/omissions (and included items we did not leave in the property so we think the inventory after we left was never done - but an attempt was made using the photos taken for marketing, on which our belongings are shown). We pay for "on time" but on 2 occasions when the tenant was late paying rent we got it late, too. All we got was our premiums returned for those 2 months. They extended the tenancy without making contact with us; they did not have our address, phone numbers or email address on file; they told British Gas that they do not manage our property so we had to get involved; after providing missing contact information they could not find our British Gas Service Contract agreement number.... We have had to take legal advice and we will now need to return to the UK to view the property. We are presently complaining through the complaints procedure as our local (Crewe) office will not answer our questions. Watch this space...

Being a non-UK based landlord, the Platinum service met our needs perfectly. With my work taking me abroad, i need to know my properties are in safe hands.I do not have the time to search for reliable honest tenants and need to be assured that the properties are well maintained.Northwood take all of my needs into consideration and offer a variety of tailored services.Opting for the fully managed platinum scheme has left me worry free, and guaranteed that i receive a monthly income, even when the property is empty. The staff are friendly and very efficient, keeping me regularly updated on the maintenance of the property and selecting only the most reliable tenants.

I chose Northwood because they stood out above the competition, I've had a great experience with them for two years and they've not let me down. Thanks

I have been letting my property through Northwood for several years and am completely satisfied with the service offered. They have always been professional and efficient and they care about the property they rent which is not a common trait amongst estate agents.

We have had our house rented out with Northwood since the summer of 2005. We chose Northwood because we were very impressed with their professional approach and experience. As we live abroad, it has been great having the peace of mind knowing that if there are any queries, or problems etc, that they will be dealt with professionally,promptly and fairly. We have a great relationship with the Northwood team and it is nice to know that if we email or telephone, that everyone knows who we are and which property we are talking about.

Northwoods are always very professional in everything they do, you feel you are dealing with people who really understand the property rental business.
They provide excellent customer service, deal with property maintenance, carry out regular inspections and report back to us on their findings.

Northwood are the managing agents for our investment property and we have always found them to act in a professional manner. I am very pleased to be able to recommend them for being both conscientious and reliable. They are known for their professional approach, both dealing with owners and tenants and they have proved themselves to be more than capable in this respect.

I cannot recommend more highly, when looking for the right agent to act on your behalf, to choose someone who has had experience in the rental market and is both proactive and professional.

We were new to the letting market and after contacting a number of agents, a friend recommended that we try Northwood.

They gave us confidence that we would not need to worry about the property from the first meeting and made the process very easy to understand.

The service we have received has been nothing but professional and friendly. We took the decision to take the fully managed option and have not regretted it.

We have since renewed our agreements with Northwood a number of times even adding a second property to their books and would not think twice about renewing again!

In the three years Northwood's Wokingham office have been managing my buy to let property I can whole heartedly say it has been a pleasure dealing with their personable staff. The team down in Edinburgh is terrible. Poor communication skills. They all say different things, they use a threatening approach, for example l reported a vaccum cleaner that was not working properly and the 1st thing l was told was ' just to warn you that if the vaccum cleaner is working we will charge you £25' without asking what was wrong with it. They do not know how to use the magic words 'please, sorry and thank you'.

I paid in a deposit to rent out a property, than I got a phone call that they are very sorry but someone else was first. Apparently for four days the agency "forgot" that the property was already taken! I was so angry as this messed up my plans.

They make repairs to your house without you knowing about it, and charge double the price it should have cost.
