I visited the branch at sale on two occassions with regard to a possible letting of my house, I was given an excellent Service and had everything explained to me clearly and thoroughly. Mr Harris and Mr Hurwitch could not have been more friendly, their knowledge was second to none and they made me feel very welcome without any of the pressure selling. I will certainly be visiting them again when I am ready to let my property a truly proffessional team.

Northwood have provided an excellent service ever since I began letting my property just over two years ago. As a first time landlady they are are always happy to advise on whatever issues crop up. The team are friendly and helpful and always exceed my expectations, responding quickly when any works need carrying out or problems need resolving. The contractors that they recommend have also always carried out works to a high standard and at a reasonable price.
I would highly recommend Northwood (Sale) to any landlords looking to rent properties in the South Manchester area.

Had nothing but trouble with Northwood, they were fine during sign up, it's once I moved into the property they were hopeless. When I told them about disrepair in the flat they just said "not our problem, we don't do repairs". When they were reminded they'd signed a legal document as well as myself they didn't care and just shrugged. Then when I left they rang me to ask if I'd be in to allow someone to view the flat! They are incompetent and rather unfriendly.
This wasn't the only problem, once during a bank holiday they wrote to me saying I was in rent arrears even though the standing order was paid out that very day.
Poorly organised, unfriendly - would not recommend.

This office handles my properties very professionally are always prompt and courteous in any response to queries and flexible in discussions
I was particularly impressed with Northwood Head office when there was a changeover from one franchise to another and I was left with an outstanding debt that both parties were disputing was the others responsibility. You resolved this for me very satisfactorily.

From start to finish Northwood, and in particular Adam Hurwitch, were fantastic! Their personal service made me feel comfortable throughout the process. They answered my queries promptly and ensured I was able to move into the property as soon as possible. I would definitely recommend Northwood to all my friends and family!

One of my rental properties had been marketed for six weeks to no avail via a local estate agent. Daniel contacting me and pointed out that he could find a tenant immediately if I was to use his company. He was true to his word and found a suitable couple who have been in the house for over two years now!

Northwood Wokingham branch worked very quickly and efficiently to find and secure our house that we have lived in for nearly a year. The service that Teresa and her team has offered has been amazing with a touch of friendliness and personalism. unfortunatley due to work commitments we had to ask Teresa to release us from our agreement early as a relocation was in order and she worked with us and the landlord to arrange an agreement where all parties were happy. All in all I have experienced a great service and would recommend Northwood to anybody looking to rent a property. I will use Northwood again if we end up back in this part of he country and I thank the team for the work that they put in to making us feel very much at home and welcome.

The customer service by the staff is second to none. Having let out property through other letting agents Northwood are top in every spect, communication being one of the most important. I would never use another agent agin.

Northwood (Cheltenham) are a well known and respected letting agent in my home town and when I decided to sell my house I was very keen to place it with them.
Having sold houses over the years with a number of estate agents (usually the larger nationwide chains), I was extremely impressed with Northwood's approach and professionalism. They are more than a match for the bigger firms and personal touches like the weekly update call, feedback immediately after each viewing and Rightmove statistics are really useful.
They also took a very proactive approach and seemed really hungry to make the sale as advertised in local papers, magazines as well as arranging a significant mailshot and, of course, placing it on Rightmove.
I can't fault the service I have received and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this firm to anyone looking to let or sell their property.

Northwood (Cheltenham) have completely changed my perspective on Estate Agents. If you want a professional, friendly, enthusiastic company to sell your house then look no further. Nikki and the team have been very impressive throughout the sale of my property and I would recommend them to anybody thinking of selling/renting in the area. Here's a few reasons why:-
- Fantastic Service. They call when they say they will call and are VERY pro-active searching for prospective buyers.

The worst service I have ever received from a company in my whole life! Within 3 days of moving in we had issues with downstairs who was bullying me and my family and causing it hell to live there, we had police and environmental health visiting regularly as our neighbour had called them to complain about what turned out to be nothing. Northwood never did a thing. When the boiler was query leaking they asked us to use the shower only until they notified us....which they forgot to do and so our water bill was extortionate for that month after being told we could only have baths! Had a terrible experience with this company a couple of years ago.
I viewed a property over looking the canal in sale, was quite interested and the man showing me round said that there were lots of other people interested and that if I gave him £200 he would hold it until I had decided, at no time was I told that the money was non refundable.
The letting did not go through for a number of reasons so I telephoned the northwood office and they told me to come and collect the money.
After arriving at the office I was then told that they were keeping the money, so I refused to leave until I got it but to no avail.
so all in all am £200 down and a lesson learnt, places like this will say and do anything to get a let/sale.

Dan & Rachel were absolutley amazing in helping us find our new home and explained everything to us in detail and in a way that completely put us at ease.
Rachel was particulary helpful when viewing the property for the second time and helped us through all paperwork, giving us a good understanding and helping in anyway she could.
Dan was extremely helpful post moving in and calfiried things with the landlord which were of concern and arranged for changes to be made.
Overall, our dealings with Northwood UK have been brilliant, I will not only use them again but highly recommend them to anyone searching for letting in and around Bournemouth.
Dan and Rachel were not only extremely helpful but highly professional and it was a pleasure to deal with them.

Northwood Beverley and Hull have no idea what the words customer service mean. They blind you with their wonderful sales pitch for you to sign up with them but deliver absolutely nothing. We have had problems every single month and all you get is an email apology afterwards. If you want hassle free rental of your property, please don't trust it with Northwood Beverley and Hull.

All staff at Northwood Wokingham have the personal touch and are all very friendly and have never failed to help me when I have cause to ask. I live in a lovely home and really do feel it is my home and I am sure I would not feel this way anywhere near as much with a larger Agent. Nick Harris - Proprietor introduced me to this lovely home and with excellent support from he and all staff after a very traumatic house move in 2010 I cannot think of leaving for a very long time! Avoid.. 14 months of hell. Broken floor in main bedroom. issues with heating. had EHO out 4 times. Moveing out end of this month as mold is effecting our health now. only seems interested in getting the rent each month and not fixing any problems. The staff are rude and have sent me a letter saying that " we keep makeing problems in the house so the council will rehouse us and we are only after a council house." Well all i can say is i am now in the prosess of BUYING a house in a different location. AVOID

Excellent Landlords! We were tenants with Northwood (Stoke on Trent) for two and a half happy years - the house was lovely, they fixed things very quickly and everyone working there was very nice to deal with. (We're unbiased too, we've recently moved and they refunded our full deposit the day after the inspection!)

A great lettings agent, always polite and happy to help. And willing to go the extra mile! I can't rate them enough but so far theres never been a problem and they always give service with a smile. Something that most people know is rare with estate agents. All in all, I have recommended them before and would do again. Nick has even met me outside of working hours leaving his own home to meet me with keys when i've locked myself out! They care and it does seem to show :)

I was really misled by these agents - when signing a 6-month contract, they assured it was a formality and it would be definitely renewed. I furnished it, enrolled my son in a local school. Then, a week before Christmas, they send a letter saying that they won't renew it (certainly not due to non-payment as my rent was paid by standing order). They have now re-advertised the property for more money! I had to find another property over the Christmas period and have now moved - Northwood are now bombarding me with threatening e-mails because I moved out before end of the tenancy.

I found this letting agents extremely helpful. I have had my property advertised with other agents in Plymouth and this is by far the best. The staff are very helpful and professional at all times. I used their contractors for cleaning and maintenance and I have to say it was all sorted out without any hassel.Thus far I am very impressed with the service I have received and would definately recommend them.

let a place from them which was fine, but paid for a tenacy agreement renewal that was never sent, so i couldnt sign and renew,
in the meantime they gave a reference from me for a new place which they blantanty lied in saying i never paid on time and never paid in full,
they even lied to the landlord regarding the reason i left to cover their own behinds and so it didnt look like they hadnt done there job

I am a student and I was looking for a place to rent and found other students who had found a place with Northwood Luton and it is a very nice house. However whilst living at the property, there were many problems - leaking toilet, no wheelie bins, no curtains ad no wardrobe. I basically had a room and had to dump my stuff with no storage space. The employee who recommended this house was absolutely RUBBISH!! She was rude and completely pointless. I would never use this agency again and would highly not recommend it to anyone else.

I have rented out my property through Northwood for nearly 8 years and have no complaints, only praise for the manageress and staff of my local branch: regular reports; prompt responses to tenant / my requests for repair work; hastening of rent (when required); and always made to feel welcome when I dropped by. Despite trying a couple of different landlord options, I always felt that the service was tailored to my requirements; this was especially important as I lived 3500 miles away! Thanks Patricia, to you and all the ladies!

I am glad that I have just signed up with them to rent my current property in Boscombe. The staff is very helpful and I do hope they are going to solve my current problem in a manner of time (which is not a very big issue at all but for me it is important).
For the first times they didn't respond me back to my first 2-3 emails but after these I have received their answers very soon (in 1-2 days) when I asked for some help in emails later on. It seems a good and professional team.Was this review helpful? Yes

After an e mail enquiry, a Northwood agent called us to set up a viewing for a property in Liverpool, and also suggested a viewing on a second property straight after. Several calls and e mails passed between Northwood and us to set this up. When we arrived, no one met us us, so we rang the office. They told us no one was booked to meet us, and anyway the place they had suggested to us had already been sold. No apology was offered; rather, they told us that our e mail and phone number were not on the system so they couldn't confirm the booking with us, despite all the phone calls and e mails between us. We'd got out of bed at 7:30 on a Saturdayand wasted 11 quid on a taxi for nothing - will not be using this agency ever again.

 are a well known and respected letting agent in my home town and when I decided to sell my house I was very keen to place it with them.
Having sold houses over the years with a number of estate agents (usually the larger nationwide chains), I was extremely impressed with Northwood's approach and professionalism. They are more than a match for the bigger firms and personal touches like the weekly update call, feedback immediately after each viewing and Rightmove statistics are really useful.
They also took a very proactive approach and seemed really hungry to make the sale as advertised in local papers, magazines as well as arranging a significant mailshot and, of course, placing it on Rightmove.

 have completely changed my perspective on Estate Agents. If you want a professional, friendly, enthusiastic company to sell your house then look no further. Nikki and the team have been very impressive throughout the sale of my property and I would recommend them to anybody thinking of selling/renting in the area. Here's a few reasons why:-
- Fantastic Service. They call when they say they will call and are VERY pro-active searching for prospective buyers.
- Friendly Staff. All of the people I have dealt with at Northwood have been brilliant.
- Glossy Brochure. Really impressive brochure for sales details. (Think this helped get so many viewings).
- Feedback. Whether good or bad was reported within 24hrs of the viewing.
- Honest. Accurate valuation of the expected selling price and what I should do to the house to prepare for sale.
- Professional. I think they are a credit to the company and would definitely use them again.

Broken floor in main bedroom. issues with heating. had EHO out 4 times. Moveing out end of this month as mold is effecting our health now. only seems interested in getting the rent each month and not fixing any problems. The staff are rude and have sent me a letter saying that " we keep makeing problems in the house so the council will rehouse us and we are only after a council house." Well all i can say is i am now in the prosess of BUYING a house in a different location.  for two and a half happy years - the house was lovely, they fixed things very quickly and everyone working there was very nice to deal with. . They have now re-advertised the property for more money! I had to find another property over the Christmas period and have now moved - Northwood are now bombarding me with threatening e-mails because I moved out before end of the tenancy.
Some of their staff are extremely rude - for example, when I phoned the office to enquire after my numerous unanswered e-mails and messages about the broken tap and a leaking 20-year old fridge, she answered "What now?"!!!
They have absolutely no interest in maintaining the properties. Even before I moved in, they failed to get rid of a wasps' nest above the door even though the neighbour called them several times. In the end the neighbour paid for it to be removed himself! I waited 3 months (!!!) to get a hot water tap in the bathroom fixed (a problem, they admitted had already been brought to their attention by the previous tenant). And on and on it went.

For the first times they didn't respond me back to my first 2-3 emails but after these I have received their answers very soon (in 1-2 days) when I asked for some help in emails later on.
