From day one it has been a pleasure to work with My London Home. They let the apartment and moved the tenants in incredibly quickly, despite some setbacks along the way, and have been most efficient and pro-active in dealing with the tenancy at all stages.
In particular, Hannah Taylor has been very helpful in organising various repairs and sorting out maintenance issues. The workmen dealing directly with the repairs have also been very friendly and helpful, and completed all that needed doing very quickly - even when other companies claimed the work was too difficult or complicated. Hannah continues to do an excellent job in managing this side of things for me.
I would thoroughly recommend the My London Home team to any prospective tenants or landlords. Their professionalism and efficiency is far above that of any other agent I have had dealings with in London.

Someone from My London Home Maintenance came around to fix a few things in my flat today (30.04.12 at 11am). His name was Simon and he was very professional and extremely efficient at resolving various issues. He was very friendly and attentive when I described the problems and made me feel reassured that he knew exactly how to fix them. Overall, I think he is a significant asset to My London Home and I hope he gets recognition for all of his efforts. He did a wonderful job!

Having had two properties fall through within days of each other, I contacted My London Home after a frantic search on Right Move revealed a property I was very much interested in, Joseph was quick to inform me on the details of the property and arranged a viewing very quickly, upon seeing the property he was thorough and gave me the low down on the property and what was to come before I could move, having made the decision on the property quite quickly I got my offer in and everything appears sorted within a couple of hours. I'm looking forward to moving in and am very impressed with the level of service I've received from MLH regards the move.

As a tenant I can only say good things about our experiences renting from my London Homes.
From viewing our flat to signing paperwork and making payments the process was extremely transparent and straight forward.
I must also comment on the quality of the after care from James and Daniela who have done a great job by us fielding all those queries that come with moving into a new property in a new area. Both were easy to get in touch with and came back with helpful advice and suggestions quickly.

I have used MyLondonHome since 2003 to buy a flat, and since 2009 to let. They originally found great tenants who gave plenty of notice when they decided to leave (after 2 years) and left the place spotless. Ian achieved a remarkable result of finding a replacement tenant within the first two days of viewings and between him and Katie, with the support of the rest of the service team at MyLondonHome facilitated a smooth and efficient transfer between tenants with the flat being empty for only 4 days!

Without a doubt, the people at MyLondonHome have been the best estate agent I have ever dealt with. Joseph Kadman is in the process of selling the current flat I am in, and both Ian James and Daniel Quicke have worked hard to find a flat within the same development. They ensured that I was always first to view and, within a matter of days, I have found a new flat to move into.
I have just completed the reference form. It is, without doubt, the most simple form I have yet had to complete with a view to tenanting a property.

It was my second time dealing with a property in the same area, my first attempt was unsuccessful largely because our agent did not keep us in the loop. Upon meeting Daniel, I got very thoughtful and honest comments regarding several properties. He brought up the urgency of matter in a frank but considerate way. As a buyer this gave a lot of support in a time where things could go either way, I would like to commend his effort in being professional in everything he did.
Although our first meeting did not happen according to schedule (miscommunication on both parties) I never regretted staying that afternoon to allow him to introduce me to the property.
Subsequent meets became really casual, there was no hidden agendas that came across during our conversations. He was always ready to assist with any matter between clients.

It was a pleasure dealing with Mr.Ian. He was help full by all means possible. Replied my emails promptly, was patient and explained everything he did or discussed with the landlord regarding negotiations or offers in details. He has put a lot of effort to find what suits me most and meets my needs. Unfortunately I had a problem with the policy that students should pay at least 6 months in advance and that's what made me unable to purchase this apartment. He made sure I understood why the landlord needs this advance payment and why I can't pay monthly. He also got me a great offer for this apartment but as I mentioned earlier, the advance payment wasn't possible in my case.

I needed a few odd jobs done around my flat - new electrical sockets, the fixing of a shower tray and so on. Jon Moore was and is the man. He did all the work to a very high standard, and he was an extremely pleasant person with whom to do business. Hannah, who arranged the work, was prompt, efficient and, like Jon, extremely professional.
p.s the 'in what capacity did I use them' section does not cater for flat owners (i.e those of us who are not landlords or tenants and who are not prospective customers of any of the agents listed. Please create a category called property owner, in other words someone who lives in their own flat and who just wanted some odd jobs done).
p.p.s where it says, would you use this agent again? Yes, I would: for odd jobs around the house, not necessarily for anything else.

Daniel has been punctual, polite, available and competent.I also told him that MyLondonHome has the best and most inviting name among those real estate agencies I have come accross in London.
The only hitch was within the system, and not in Daniel's actions, that even when I instantly expressed interest in a property at the time of viewing (at St George's Wharf), when he went back to his office, the property was already taken. This wasted both his and my time. I would expect from an agency of this standard to resolve such communication weakness between the agents or agencies dealing with the same property. We are in the 21st century with real time capacity to communicate.

I chose MyLondonHome after having met a couple of other agents, on the basis that not only their fees were actually the lowest but also the feeling they they really look after their customers, and manage to get the best rent that they possibly can get for each apartment. They are honest in giving advice on the feasibility of the rental income and the probability of finding a tenant. They don't rip you off with extortionate charges for tenancy agreements etc like Foxtons.
MyLondonHome have been helpful and honest and I have let my flat through them for over a year and they have managed all aspects of it. Any maintenance issues have been resolved by them quickly and efficiently and without the feeling that I am being ripped off.
They found me a tenant in less than a week and this tenant has been in the property since then. Lisa, Helen, James and the rest of the team have been really helpful.
I would be happy to use them again and would unhesitatingly recommend them.

Daniella did an excellent job in showing me the flat in spring 2010, and we were able to put in an offer within the day, and have it accepted, and move in during june . Daniela was and very helpful with follow up and local contacts as we moved in.
I subsequently rented the property out in late 2011 when I moved, and again My London Home were the obvious choice to act as agents. Adam and his team was very responsive and found a tenant within a week.

During my dealing with Daniela La Sala, I found her to be courteous at all times, knowledgeable, confident, innovative and constructive.
The property had been on the market for letting for some time; in spite of her hard work showing the flat to potential tenants a few times weekly, there were no takers because the asking rent was too high. I was not prepared to lower the asking rent but through her patient explanation, such as it was not economically viable to have a long void period just because of a few extra pounds particularly when the market was rather dormant, she ultimately pursuaded me to do so.
What I also like with Daniela was that she kept me informed on a regular basis with regards to feedback and market conditions.
Next time the flat becomes vacant. she will be the first agent I will make contact with.

We were looking for an apartment in St.george Wharf & contacted MyLondonHome & spoke to Daniela. We have been letting our apartments in London for almost 14 years, and have experienced the letting service of many central London agents during that time.
Our brief to our agents is that we are very particular about the quality of tenant, more so than the amount of rent that we can charge.
Naturally, both points are important to us, and thanks to My London Home, we have always been more than satisfied with lets that they have arranged.
Over the last 3 years or so, they have been consistant in giving us quality, trouble free tenants , virtually no empty periods, and excellent rents. Add to that their willingness to be competitive on commission rates, makes it hard to find fault.Their admin department and inventory service have both been excellent in our experience, making them our first and only choice of agent when it comes to St George Warf.

Having invited 4 letting agents to come and see my flat, I chose MyLondonHome on the basis of their fees being actually lowest but also the feeling they they really look after their customers, they concentrate on doing what they do, really well. Ian James came to see it and is an excellent assessor of what and whether and so on.

Adam Anker is a most efficient and professional agent. Since our first meeting we decided we liked Adam, he was honest, informative, friendly and listened to our needs. He was most helpful in negotiating our lease fairly and efficiently. He also appreciated that we wanted to 'move fast' and the my london home referecnce checking process was straight forward resulting in a quick turn around to collect the keys and move in.
Relocating to London was made a far simpler process through the help of Adam, a jolly nice chap and pleasure to spend time with. Adam Anker will certainly be our first port of call when we need to relocate executives from our company or indeed ourselves.

Jonathan met me to handover the keys and run through the inventory for
my new studio rental. Ian was a great listener and as a result he really took on board what we were looking for. He appreciated that our time was valuable and didn't waste time dragging us to looking at property which didn't have a chance of meeting the spec. He was also pleasantly firm with us if we occasionally went 'off piste' wanting to look at things which though fabulous, were too far away in terms of location to where we needed to be.

We were quite unfortunate to experience a few damages in our apartment, not related to misuse from residents side. This had to do with curtain hangers falling off the bedroom as well as a shelf from the living room being disconnected. We contacted My London Home and asked for the curtains to be corrected asap as a priority and then the slelf issue to be adjusted.
Hannah was very proffesional and responsive to dealing with our request, with clear and quick communication by email and by phone. Covering every detail of the workings by email so there would be no rework it all proceeded fine. Additionally, there was follow up after every visit from the maintanance team so she can get feedback and proceed with further actions if needed.
We are 100% pleased with service provided and it seems house management can be regarded as this office's competitive advantage.

After moving to London from Cape Town our initial experience with MyLondonHome was extremely positive with Adam not giving up until finding us an apartment in the location we were looking to rent.
After a few speed bumps with the maintenance department, MyLondonHome once again redeemed themselves with some excellent maintenance services.
The two gents in specific who repainted the apartment were friendly, helpful and extremely efficient at getting the job done in the specified time. They respected our space and ensured that the apartment was spotless once they had completed the job.
It was nice to see that the promises made to sort out the maintenance issues in the apartment were kept and we can now fully enjoy it and make it our home.

I have been very impressed with MyLondonHome - at the start of our tenancy the particular person assigned as our account manager wasn't the fastest at coming back to us with any issues however any problems we did have were sorted out eventually. When the account manager changed to Lisa the improvement was noticeable - even though sometimes the solution couldn't be given there and then as contractors had to be called out etc, she replied almost straight away to my messages. I am happy with his conduct and his understanding to our needs especially with regarding to our deafness. The process of paying the rent upfront went quickly and more importantly smoothly. When we said that we would prefer to pay the whole of a year rent upfront, Ian provided flexibility in allowing us to do, and the process of contacting the landlady was processed to a very satisfied ending as she agreed for us to pay the whole yearly rent in one amount/ go.
I would be happy for Ian to conduct our future property affairs.

Ian James was absolutely great to deal with. He was professional, and dealt with my queries promptly. Made it easy and truly was always pleasant and punctual.

I enquired about a couple of properties listed on the MyLondonHome website at 6pm in the evening, expecting the usual "Those aren't *real* properties, they're just so we can get your details", or simply to just be ignored - the normal level of service that I've come to expect from other letting agents.
I was positively shocked when I got a call not 1/2 hour later from Ian James, property consultant at MLH, who talked me through the available properties they had on offer, and discussed my requirements in depth. He then arranged a tour of various properties across London, and thankfully I found one I liked!
The whole process was extremely smooth from start to finish, not what I had come to expect from a lettings agent at all. There were a couple of minor hiccups relating to getting references approved on time, and Ian and the MLH property management team kept me well informed and helped get the issues resolved as quickly as possible.
I'd not hesitate to recommend MLH to anyone looking for property in London, they really are in a class of their own.

I would like to recommend Ian, he is timely, courteous, sincere and helpful. Unfortunately not everyone in the office has the same good attitude. Other staff members I dealt with were either ill-prepared, not answering email or late in appointments. Which makes the overall rating only average.

My London Home helped us in buying a really nice property. They were very proactive in offering us their help and in solving all different issues. This incredible team worked in harmony to sell my flat at the requested price and were all constantly on top of the situation at any point, making calls to them simple. We mainly dealt with Daniela La Sala & Steven Herd, who were a delight to have round, making viewings something we looked forward to.. We were tough customers as we were in a position to keep and rent out our flat when we moved and yet they found the right buyer, who was equally happy. I feel that their job requires diplomacy and they displayed it beautifully.

My London Home helped us fining a property in London. Our agent, Daniela La Sala, was very friendly and efficient. After having signed the contract we were given a different agent to take care of us, James Garraway, who in the beginning had some problems with promptly answering our emails (as there were a couple of issues in the flat, due to the landlords who left in a harry day before we moved), but during our further interactions James turned out to be helpful and managed to resolve the issues in the flat.
We also met Jonathan Blake, who was responsible for the inventory check-in and performed the task very well, listing all the small issues the flat has, which will be helpful in long run.

I dealt with Annette Peck at MyLondonHome regarding my renewal of the tenancy agreement. And all I can say - not only was she extremely helpful and patient taking out the time to listen to my concerns, issues, etc.
And allowing for my personal circumstances, she provided appropriate advice (keeping a balance between trying to help me and being fair to the landlord - which is what one should expect from a professional) and negotiated a renewal that took care of my concerns and solved my issues.

Adam Anker at MLH was recommended to us by a friend who managed to secure through him a superb rental flat. An excellent service from start to finish, from an agency which cares properly about both landlords and tenants. We had already purchased the flat through My London Home and had such a good buying experience that the agency was the obvious choice when the flat unexpectedly needed to be let at very short notice. Tenants were found within a week, and furniture, blinds and kitchen equipment sourced without us needing to do more than agree prices and assent to furniture in various styles. Attention to detail was very good indeed, as was customer care.

I think MyLondonHome is one of the most professional agencies I have dealt with. All of the staff were, without exception, professional, courteous and punctual. I found both the lettings and property management staff at MLH to be both efficient and professional in their approach to finding me a tenant, which they did quickly and in arranging for new appliances to be installed. I was particularly impressed with the detailed approach to the inventory and handover procedures and the whole company's caring attitude has given this first time landlord all of the peace of mind that I was seeking in the process of renting out my apartment. We have rented our apartment for four years and from the outset, MLH have been efficient and thorough. The initial negotiations were succinct and the temrs etc. were all clearly explained and as uncomplicated as they can be.

Very friendly co-operative and informative agents. Daniel Quicke was very good at organising viewings and always was there to meet me and answer any questions there and then or later if he had to ask the vendor. He was very good at negotiating a deal and pushing it through to completion - he never let his eye off the ball. Without his negotiation skills we wouldn't have got the flat.

Jo Cadman was excellent in listening to what we wanted and helping to close the deal. He was absolutely open and straight and was a pleasure to do business with. MLH provided the most accurate assessment of my property value and achieved close to that level, meeting my expectations around price in a difficult market. I was moving at short notice to London to work during the week and wanted to find a flat that was both convenient to travel to the office and for use as a London base when not working. MyLondonHome got the brief just right and found a mornings worth of viewings within a week. We loved the one bed flat in St George Wharf and went ahead right away. There were a few problems initially with damage caused before the previous tenant moved out, however the team did an excellent job liasing with the landlord to get the matters corrected quickly.

Initally we used My London Home to purchase the flat, and in this capacity I would like to mention and thank Andrew Griffith who provided invaluable support and advice. He really championed our corner and for that we are extremely grateful.
MLH then went on to let the property; huge thanks to Daniela La Sala and Adam Anker who marketed the property (it was let quickly) for all their advice and guidance and to Georgina Braithwaite who took such lovely pictures of the flat!
Now Helen Creswell and Lisa Yoshimoto manage the flat for us and they provide a very professional service; always ready, friendly, willing and able to help sort out any issues.

I recently rented an apartment that is managed by MLH and I am happy to say that the service that was provided was excellent. Joseph Cadman was knowledeable and focused in identifying the right property for me and in negotiating an agreement with the landlord. Joseph Garraway and Helen Cresswell in the office efficiently arranged the contract and moving arrangents. And Jonathan Blake did an excellent check-in for the apartment. The agents at MyLondonHome are very professional in general . I would like to praise in particular Ms. Helen Crestwell who managed my flat account and who showed a high professionalism and care ,which I appreciated very much . I would like to mention equally Mr. Andrew Griffith who was very helpful, patient and dedicated in assisting me to search for a new flat to buy . I don't like to forget the dedication of other persons like M.James Garraway , and beleive that such dedication is a reflection of a culture in the company .
However , and to be honest , I didn't appreciate the way of replacement of a certain equipment in the flat , since the cost of such replacement was not fair, and unjustified in comparison with the prevailing offers in the market for the same brand .Was this review helpful? Yes

My washing machine broke down suddenly. I rang My London Home immediately, and their response was first class. An engineer came out the same day, and diagnosed the problem immediately. He suggested a new machine, as it may have cost as much to have the repairs done.
Lisa who dealt with my problem from the outset, dealt with everything in a most professional and caring manner, contacting the Landlord and requesting a new machine, which was ordered in a couple of days and arrived and installed the same week.
Thanks to Lisa, MyLondonHome and not forgetting the landlord, I now have a state of the art washer dryer..
Lisa kept me informed on a daily basis as to what stage in the proceedings we were at. I have nothing but praise from MyLondonHome, and my beautiful appartment is complete once again thanks to them

My wife and I have now used MLH twice as letting and management agents for a central London flat. The first time MLH were able to attract a first rate corporate tenant at a significantly higher rent than we had achieved previously and at a lower rate of agent's commission than we had been paying. They let the flat within days of being appointed.
When the first tenancy ended MLH were very quick to find another first rate tenant (this time a private individual) at an increased rent. The tenancies were "back to back" so that there was no "void" period.

I sold a property through MyLondonHome recently and they were outstanding. They knew exactly how much we could get for the flat as they had sold properties in the same block in recent months so had the exact figures and purchaser situations to compare. Their web site is excellent and they can muster a steady stream of high quality purchasers often from abroad especially Hong Kong where they have good exposure. They quickly sold the property at a great price and I looked forward to receiving the cash in the bank.

I own a number of tenanted properties in Central London all managed by MyLondonHome for nearly a decade and I cannot speak too highly of them. They always let my properties to top quality tenants at excellent rents with very little time (if any) between lets. They provide clear easy to understand statements and advise and fix any problems quickly and efficiently. No wonder they have won so many awards. I am a very demanding person when it comes to service and certainly would stay with this agency if they were not truly outstanding.
Of course there will be tenants like those on here who complain about problems with their rented property not being fixed but that is not necessarily the fault of the estate agent but the landlord. I want happy tenants so I always fix things immediately and professionally through MyLondonHome’s excellent property management department but other landlords are not always so considerate.Was this review helpful? Completely agree with the previous review. Seems not much changed since 2011. I have not come across such low level of professionalism. I would have been out of business a long time ago if I treated my clients like MLH does. Stay away if you can from this sweat shop.

One of the worst estate agents I have been unfortunate enough to experience. Highly unprofessional, rude, condescending and disrespectful. Completely clueless about their role in upholding the contract from the landlord's side, many services were not provided, regardless of countless phone calls.
Dirty sink water pours into washing machine, and dryer has not worked longer than 2months. Completely ridiculous. No attempt made to fix the sink-washing machine connection.
Rushed into tenancy so apartment was not fully prepared, but were assured lights and fittings would be fixed shortly. The... (read more)

 If a property needs work or adjustment they will tell you what to get sorted. Thank heavens I had done my research and my flat was ready to let with nothing more needed than a carbon monoxide detector, everything else was in place. I worked hard to make it lovely and they appreciated it, which gave me pleasure, I felt they would show it to the right tenants.
They had keys on the 5th March and found me a brilliant tenant in only 11 days, they moved in on the 20th - how fast is that for service?
Joseph Cadman found me the tenant - he knew the flat would suit them and so it proved....he kept me fully informed, I was completely happy with his judgement. Lisa Yashimoto handled my paperwork beautifully, answering even my most stupid of questions, and attending to the forwarding of various forms to my head lessee....
I feel safe in their hands and I am sure they will look after my baby, I would be happy to use them again and would unhesitatingly recommend them. I was positively shocked when I got a call not 1/2 hour later from Ian James, property consultant at MLH, who talked me through the available properties they had on offer, and discussed my requirements in depth. He then arranged a tour of various properties across London, and thankfully I found one I liked!
The whole process was extremely smooth from start to finish, not what I had come to expect from a lettings agent at all. There were a couple of minor hiccups relating to getting references approved on time, and Ian and the MLH property management team kept me well informed and helped get the issues resolved as quickly as possible.

We have found MLH's administration and accounting back-up to be efficient and professional. Tenancy agreements and taking of inventories have been arranged expeditiously and accounts have been prepared accurately and on a timely basis. They expect a high standard of accommodation for their tenants and insist on any shortcomings being made good by the landlord prior to letting. We think that this is entirely reasonable if one is to attract a high rent and first rate tenant. We have not had any problems with the tenants they have introduced to us.
