We are new to the Southampton area and were looking for a flat near the central train station. The Morris Dibben estate agent informed us that the flat was "close to the station" and we agreed to meet at the property. We were on foot for what should have been a 15-20 minute walk. When we realized she misinformed us (i.e. flat-out lied about the location to get our interest) we called to ask if she could quickly drive down the street to pick us up and run us back to the flat, as walking would have put us a good 20 minutes late. We were informed that the 3-minute drive down would put her behind schedule, and so she left, and we were left in the blazing heat with a 45-minute walk back and nothing to show for it.
Apparently, customers are not first priority at Morris Dibben. It is one thing to stretch the location of a property (note to all: double whatever walking/driving time they tell you), but it is pretty sickening to ignore us at the slightest hint that we would require any kind of attention.
Remember, we are YOUR customers, not the other way around. We had some good experiences with agents, but this was not one of them - very cut-throat and self-serving. Stay away!
