Callum has been a great help in trying to find the right property for us. He has listened to our requirements and has been very informative when we've been on viewings. Mr. Ryder is truly an outstanding professional. He has been very patient with our busy and demanding schedules and not rushing us into securing a deal. We have been dealing with him since July of 2011, and have made inquiries at other letting companies and due to the largely negative experience with them, have decided to deal exclusively with Mr. Ryder. We are now at the stage where we have to move and he is only showing us flats that will suit our liking, and not showing to us junk, which he knows we will not like. I really appreciate his efforts and commend him for putting his professionalism at the forefront, one may say well he is simply doing his job, but call about 2/3 of the firms out there and see if you get the desired professionalism that you get from Mr. Ryder at Morgan Randall - you won't.

I was looking for a property to rent and contacted Daniel. He was very helpful and not pushy at all. He showed me a broad range of properties to help me understand the pros and cons of several different areas and several different properties. I ultimately chose another property but I was very pleased at my experience of working with Daniel and Morgan Randall.

We moved in and took over the tenancy from someone who wanted to move out. Apparently that was fine and we paid Morgan Randall to sort out all the paperwork and make sure it was all official. The troubles started when we moved out and gave one months notice earlier than the end of the tenancy (as we had a break clause).
Morgan randall would send letters to the wrong people and would claim that they had sent things when they hadn't, said they couldn't send things electonically when they could and then did when the letters got lost in the post.

I don't ever leave reviews but thought the service provided by Daniel Ryder deserved some recognition. We had been looking for a flat to rent for a month and after too many terrible viewings to even try and count we were relieved to have met Daniel at the Canary Wharf branch at Morgan Randall. He listened to our requirements and showed us 3 well considered properties. We decided to make an offer on one that we loved and after some negotiations with the landlord we got it! Thank you Dan for providing us with an excellant service.

I have to give credit to Ronnie Jackson of Morgan Randell. She is a person who is not too pushy and listens to what I needed. She spent a great deal of time looking for the right property for me at my desired price. But unfortunately, we were unable to find something at my price mark. However, she was very professional in her nature and seemed to be more determined in finding me an apartment than I actually was. Amazing service and I would definately recommend my clients to choose Morgan Randell and I will especially recommend Ronnie.
My circumstances took a change for the worse and I had to go back to the US, to see to my son. So I actually did not do a deal with Ronnie. But I will be back in London at the end of June, so hopefully I will be able to find something through Ronnie and Morgan Randell.

Matthew House was fantastic in helping me find the right apartment that suits my needs and keeps me within budget. Matt is a friendly, helpful person who knows his stuff. I am currently in the process of looking, but I must say that our estate agent Sara has been most entertaining. As a first time searcher this has made life easy for me! Upfront and honest to manage our expectations of the market available, and also the properties that she has shown us. The properties we have seen and that have been suggested have all been within both the budget and the area that we asked for. Sara is approachable and open, and we have so far enjoyed our viewings with her.

Morgan Randall provided excellent service under difficult circumstances - moving from abroad, with less than two weeks notice, little time to spend on this task. They quickly converged on the right type of properties (not wasting my time) and worked based on my schedule. Top grade!

I received an excellent service from Matthew House at Morgan Randall and he managed to secure a new tenant for me. He always communicated and his responses to emails and questions were very prompt.
He also managed to get a bit more money from the new tenant which always helps. Overall I was impressed with the level of service I received from Matthew.

Matthew House very easy to deal with.
They found me a tenant ASAP.
Extra charges such as tenancy agreement, epc certificate, inventory etc are quite pricey.

Fiding the property with Morgan Randall was not an Issue. There agent was very helpfull. Once they have your money, they are awfull. We did a snag list that was asked for but we get told they will not act on the snag list. We specified a Leather lounge suite but where given a Plastic lounge suite and when we compalined we hwhere told the Leather at Morgan Randall means imitation leather you have to say Genuine leather. There is only 1 definition of leather so I am not sure what school they went to. We then told them to collect the sofa and they say they cannot. I would never recommend them to anyone to either rent from them or manage a porperty

Grant King has been very helpful with finding an apartment in London. He showed us around several properties and gave us a good insight of the market. Started well, and then went down hill - all very professional up front and then when it got down to finding a place and making an offer they became unprofessional and very pushy. I get the impression they are not very well trained and do no know the area very well.
I was even asked to put up a positive review on this site by one of them after I had found a property (with a different gent!) so hence why the negative review here

We came in contact with Yurga since the beginning and she was very helpful and patient in trying to find a property which would be a good fit for us.
Very easily contactable and willing to answer all our questions.
As an agency, we found their fees a bit expensive but anyway all the agencies are getting really expensive.

I dealt with Charlie from the Great Eastern Street office. Even though we eventually found our property through another agent, we were delighted with the high level of customer service we received. Whereas with other agents where I was shown around properties that were quite clearly not what I was looking for, through MR I had the pleasure of seeing two very good properties matching my search criteria. The first we made an offer on and the process ran very smoothly with Charlie taking charge, but unfortunately the landlord opted for a short let option. I would highly recommend MR to anyone looking for a flat. I really got the impression that Charlie was doing everything he could to find me a property and we needed that comfort as we were working with time constraints. If we're ever looking to move again in the future, Charlie will be the first agent I call!

First time of dealing with MR for search of a suitable property in the Balham / Tooting area. Dealt with a lovely and bubbly young lady by the name of Zareena Khan, who was very welcoming and accomadating of my extensive requirments. She took the time to listen to what I was looking for rather than just throw a whole heap of potential properties. I was provided with a concise list of properties in accordance with my needs in a timely manner. Very efficient, polite and not to forget professional in all aspects of our dealing. Definate recommendation to use whether you are looking to find a property to rent or looking for a managing agent for one of your own.

I used Callum Moss when looking for a property to rent in the Balham/Wandsworth area. My agent (Charlie Heim) did an exceptional job when dealing with me as a prospective customer. I must admit i was somewhat a awkward client as it was a first move to the city for me and Charlie ensured he showed me a number of properties that suited my criteria. He was extremely helpful and was always on hand when i had a question to ask. Unfortunately i didn’t go for a property as i had a change of heart about the move and he was very understanding. I can safely safe that when i do come to look for a property again i would use Morgan Randall just so i can be looked after by Charlie. I would also recommend him to other potential clients.

Daniel Ryder was our agent. We called Morgan Randall, with no referral and he was assigned to our call. He has been most helpful and a pleasure to work with, from the first call through to the final documents. We found the apartment immediately and although we were in two different countries, he assisted every step of the way, via email and phone calls. I have recommended that my business associates hire Daniel to help them find housing in 2012.

As you know searching for a new place to live can be an emotional + stressful experience. Most agents do have a "Commission" focused approach, which can make the whole search process more tricky, as a result the tenant can be more curious to know on whether the viewing is truly good or not.
However i am delighted to confirm the agent(Mr Irfan Choudhary) i dealt with at Morgan Randall did not meet our negative expectations from above. In the space of 2 hours, Mr Choudhary presented five options to us and gave us a balanced view on all options upon completion of the viewings. We were so confident in his judgement, that we made our final decision within 24 hours. In addition the after sale management from him and his team was excellent, the administration of the offer was handled with care and we moved in as planned.
I would not hesitate to recommend this agent to anyone who is serious about searching for a property and gaining honest consultation.

I have gone through many Estate Agents in London, such as Foxtons which I btw do NOT recommend for various reasons.
Morgan Randall has offered me an outstanding service. The agent that dealt with my property search was Grant King. He listened to my requirements and ascertained my needs. He was very efficient and unlike other agents he always remained in contact, trying to do the best for me. Grant is very professional, polite and helpful.
Unfortunately due to family circumstances I did not end up renting a property, but I would definitely recommend Morgan Randall in every aspect and use them again in the future.
Fees are not high comparing them to other top Estate Agents in London. You pay for what you get. Personally I'd rather pay a little more and have a great service.Was this review helpful? Yes

I had a viewing of an apartment with Ashley from Morgan Randall. He had knowledge of the property and provided all the answers, regardless if some were difficult to respond to. I would highly recommend Matthew House, senior lettings executive, at Morgan Randall. I was looking for a 2 bedroom rental in the Canary Wharf area whilst still living in New York USA. He went above and beyond to find me a fantastic flat with all the specs I wanted and in my budget. Also his communication throughout the process was excellent.
I had spoken to other letting agencies whilst looking for a rental and decided not to use them as they did not come close to the outstanding client services that I received form Matthew House at Morgan Randall.

These guys are crooks. Dont be fooled by the smart suits and the free soft drinks. I viewed a property and agreed to submit an offer - they then told me someone else was interested and I'd have to pay more so I did. I was then told that the landlord had accepted. Then I found out via the landlord that there wasnt another tennant iinterested and they hadnt even submitted the offer I made. God knows why maybe holding out for more for someone else. I lost my deposit as I refused to do business with them. Dont use them - they are criminals behaving with complete dishonesty.

EXTREMELY bad experience, from a bunch of speak-easy crooks. After making our first payments, verified by our bank, we could not get hold of the agent who did not reurn our calls, and therefore could not collect the keys, so we had to move in several days later than the lease date. DO NOT RENT FROM OR LET WITH THESE GUYS!
Great at getting you in. Terrible, aggressive and extortionately expensive thereafter. We found our property through the Balham branch and it is now managed by the Canary Wharf branch. If you want them to do anything it will take forever and cost you an arma dn a leg. They currently want £384 to change one name on the tenancy agreement. If we don't pay this in advance, it seems we can't get a new housemate in to pay the rent.
They have also, along with our Landlord (perhaps at his insistance and/or under their suggestion) pursued an extremely aggressive approach towards us, accusing us of misuse and negligent damage to the property for minor faults and breakages with fittings and fixtures which were faulty from the outset.
It seems that we may need to join the list of people who are taking up their completely maverick approach to property letting with the Property Ombudsman.

It has taken me a while to get around to writing this review, but I still seethe at the memory of my experience with this completely inept and unprofessional outfit over 18 months ago now. Overall an extremely disappointing experience and would certainly now go out of my way to NOT recommend dealing with that company to everyone I meet. It may be the specific individual whom we were dealing with that let it all down, but none the less a bad rep for the company in all.

The Canary Wharf branch is an absolute joke. Their charges are above and beyond - not clearly explained and just taken from the deposit without permission. Getting this (over charged) deposit back has been an absolute nightmare - they have sat on it for a month. Communication is non-existent. We had visited every letting agents in Balham and viewed over a dozen flats in as many days without much joy.
We met a good variety of letting agents over the course of our "flat hunt", however Tony was one of a few who was patient, knowledgeable, friendly and understood our position and requirements.
We found a property that ticked all the boxes and put an offer in a day later, that was rejected by the landlord who wanted more.
However due to Tony's persistence and skills the landlord returned a few days later and accepted our offer on slightly different grounds but grounds we we're more than happy to accept without breaking our budget.
We're very happy where we are and although it was not in an area we originally considered, Tony's local knowledge helped settle our decision.
Top marks for Tony, he did good.

My girlfriend and I used Morgan Randall to let our flat in Balham, eventually the property was successfully let, however the tenants have moved out after 8 months. The fee paid to Morgan Randall was 11% of the annual rent, which was paid up front. We were told on numerous occasions that if the tenants activate the break clause then Morgan Randall will refund any overpayment of fees or they will re -let the property and deduct the overpayment from the next fee for the new tenant. They are now refusing to refund the overpayment in fees, consequently they owe us in the region of £500 with the effective fee being closer to 20% of the rent the tenants paid.

We have just escaped the grasping fingers of Morgan Randall - they've managed to hang onto my deposit for four months after our tenancy finished. Pretty much exemplifies the service we've had all along from them - they are without doubt the worst company with the most incompetent and downright obstructive staff I've ever encountered. I am in the middle of writing to the Ombudsman now to let them know how pitifully bad these cowboys are.

Absolutely awful. Avoid at all costs. Tenant not who they said she was. Rent paid to them not passed on for months, with unexplicable fees deducted which did not match what was agreed. No understandable breakdown of charges. They don't follow anything verbally agreed up in writing, despite requests for written confirmations. Never return calls or respond to emails. Further unexplained deductions from tenant's deposit. Made formal complaint, which true to form has been ignored. We've referred the case to the property ombudsman.

They are tricky and playing game. They would wait until last minute of your rental agreement and put you in uncomfortable position. All those things they promise, it didn't appear in the contract. You would have no choice but to accept.
Two months after moving in I got an e-mail from Morgan Randall advising that I hadn't paid rent, while I was supposed to pay to another agency. Absolutely ridiculous.

I am moving into London for the first time, and liked the enthusiasm given by the agent.
Being a first time client for any property, I felt pushed into putting down a holding deposit on a property that was lovely but over my budget, with the promise I would get it for my budget.
Contact has lessened over the couple of days since viewing, as negotiations with the landlord commence, initial offer rejected and I was asked to give a higher offer, which I can not afford on my current salary after this contact has again declined and excuses made for delays in contact and return of holding deposit. I tried nearly all the lettings agents in the Balham area and found Tony Pasztor at Morgan Randall to be the best in terms of trying to understand what my priorities were, and generally staying in touch and keeping me informed. He's a good guy and I enjoyed working with him, and I'm now in a property that I'm really happy with. First impressions count and my dealings with Morgan Randall and Ryan in particular was one of professionalism and friendliness. Ryan asked the right questions to ascertain my needs, not in an intrusive arrogant manner, but very friendly and approachable. I wish all my dealings with estate agents had been this easy.

I am very please with the service provided by Irfan Choudhary. He is one of the lettings executives and has been really nice and very helpful throughout the whole period of viewing to signing the contract. He also called me up after I moved in to check if everything was ok.

Don't ever trust them. They are are friendly and helpful only before you pay them. Once you paid them, no answers, no call back. Then won't give you any help for your property. Extremily frustrated with the service provided by Morgan Randall. Initially when I moved in the got the dates wrong and left me homeless for the night, then told me I could move in from 2pm the next day. When I arrived the current tenant was still in the flat and wasn't ready to leave for another 5 hours and the cleaners hadn't even been in yet.

Staff were very friendly at first....until you've signed a contract and paid their fees. They conveniently forgot to inform us that the property we were renting was on the market to be sold. After bringing this up they claimed that they had told us this. When trying to resolve this, they then acted like children trying to twist everything and refusing to answer questions with a straight answer.

I strongly advice never using this agent to let your property. My tennants have also advised not to use them to rent a property so they have managed to upset both sides of their business!
Dealing with them was one of the most stressful and frustrating times of my life. I don't even want to write a letter of compliant so that I never have to be in contact with them again.

Morgan Randall have let my 5 bedroom house in Wandsworth. I asked them to market only to families rather than sharers. They continued to find sharers and persuaded me to accept 4 "professional" people. They then moved 6 people into my house, using my dining room as a 6th bedroom. They are probably the worst letting agency I've worked with. They only worry about getting paid, but if the flat has problems they never return your calls. We've been chasing some missing keys from the flat for a month, and we ended up having to make copies of the main keys ourselves under the promise that they'll repay us.
Not to mention taking 6h to actually give us the keys, changing the terms of the contract at the last second when they knew we didn't have any other option, etc... i am considering talking with the Ombudsman. They are also expensive, with fees of up to 375GBP.

Morgan Randall were efficient and helpful, and stood out from the high street crowd. Our lettings negotiator, Ryan Trickey, was an asset in every way. From actually listening to our requirements in the first place - remarkably a trait not shared by many agents - to negotiating and finalising the letting, he was was helpful, friendly and always remained in contact.
The only reason this is not a 5 star review is the fees seemed relatively high (maybe the price for good service?)

Beware!! 2 Polish girls responded to a private ad I placed on the net. They came and looked at my property posing as tenants and then went away. When they turned the corner I caught them getting into a Morgan Randall company car! A very bubbly and friendly estate agent - the young female staff at the Balham office helped me quickly to short list some properties which were suitable. Hospitality was very warm where she helped me to go through the whole proceedure, which made the move comfortable.

It looks like Morgan Randall employees have been busy with the below salvo of positive reviews. MRs' contracts with landlords contain the kind of clauses widley criticised as unfair by trading standards and in the recent court case between the OFT and Foxtons. The staff I dealt with were enthusiastic until they had badgered myself and my tenants into signing the agreement. A catalogue of incompetence and poor communication followed. They significantly added to the stress of letting my property despite the laughable claims on their web site. Approach with extreme caution but they did secure tenants quickly.

As a landlord, I have used Morgan Randall over the last three years for two houses. Presently both are let through them. The work they performed to find good tenants at the desired rental values was excellent. And during this period I have had no problems with my tenants. They have been happy.
Whereas until 2009 the property management service and accounts departments were sometimes lacking a professional edge I now find both departments accessible and amenable. I gather that some reorganisation and retraining has improved things. The change is evident and welcome.

Used Morgan Randall to find my new home and found their service really good. I dealt with Hitesh and found him helpful right from the start. He showed me properties that that matched my requirements unlike other agents! Even when my offer had been rejected he got straight to work and found me another one straight away! I was set-up by this people. They did not meet their deadlines to deliver the tenancy contract, so I could move on time, and they never refunded my holding fee. Don't trust them.

The agent took me to see 2 properties, both of which I liked and am now a tenant in one of them. He didn't waste our time, as other agents have done, taking us to see places out of our price range or that would not be suitable for us. My other housemates needed to see the property and he was happy to take us round another 2 times even though we had already signed the contract.

Lola was really good and soo helpful during a very stressful time trying to find a new home in a new city! I saw about 20 different estate agents and Morgan Randall were by far the best in the whole city. Olrich was also really good.

Very bad customer service, I had to be chasing the Letting Agent constantly day and night in order for her to come back to me. It was a very frustrating experience. If I would have been the landlord, I would not leave my property on Morgan Randall's hands any longer.

Morgan Randall kept harassing me for rent while I was paying directly to the landlord according to the instructions of the lease. It took me 6 phone calls, 3 visits to the branch, and a letter from a solicitor to get me off their "automated service".

Very keen at the beginning, but it quickly became clear that they are just chancers. I'm used to being disappointed by estate agents, but Morgan Randall are a car crash of an agent. Nothing they promise ever happens and they seem to feel that contracts don't apply to them.

Spoke to them about renting a 2-bed flat in Canary Wharf - without question some of the rudest, least helpful people I have ever spoken to, they spoke to me as if I was utterly stupid. If Morgan Randall treat prospective customers like that, God knows how they behave once they've got you signed up.
A strange way to do business indeed, perhaps that's why they're in administration. Lucky escape by the sound of it.

Morgan Randall were terrible.
We agreed to rent a house with them, and they took the deposit (which they said they required urgently to secure the house), and then did not return calls for 3 weeks regarding the contract. It then turned out that they had not agreed the rental price with the landlord, and we had lost property, but this was only communicated after we called them several times a day, and in the end visited the office in person to wait for a response.
Their refusal to return calls or respond to queries meant we lost out on time to fnd another flat. They also took several weeks to return the deposit they had taken, and did not return calls relating to this either.

Took my keys for viewings. When I decided to sell the property, chased them via 5 emails and 4 phone calls, all of which were never responded to. Apparently they were put in the post, though the post never arrived. Very disappointed. Lots of talk, no action. Sadly my experience epitomises estate agent reputations!

After dealing with so many different agents around Balham, i found that Morgan Randel were the most helpful and honest agency. They accommodated me for my late viewing as I was only available from 8.30pm due to my work commitments, whilst all the other agents told me I had to wait till the weekend. She worked very hard to find me the perfect place and made sure that all my conditions were satisfied, even though the landlord was negotiating very tough. Although I thought they were slightly more expensive than other agents, this became insignificant.

They found me tenants and told me the tenants only wanted an 18 month contract and they insisted on the tenancy being managed at 17%!!!!! When I spoke to the tenants (after they moved in) I found that this was not the case.

I registered online with this agency and they called me at least twice a day every day after that until I eventually unsubscribed. I had an agent who suffered very badly with sarcasm and a bad attitude. The day I called to unsubscribe, they forgot to put me on hold and I heard the lady on the other end of the phone panick as she told her other collegue. She said "What sha'll we do, she's not going to deal with us." Very dodgy, money grabbing and desperate company.
Do not sign up, there are plenty of other agents out there. Good luck

I used Morgan Randall for first time. I strongly believe that the agent (Lola) was one of the best that you can find in the market. Very helpful and really trying to do the best for you. I had to face a very demanding landlord but I definitely felt that the agency was on my side trying to do the best. Even after I moved in and the place wasn't professionally cleaned as promised by the landlord, Lola tried her best to demand whatever was promised to me. I would definitely recommend. Of course when you are dealing with estate agencies and landlords you need to be extremely careful with term and conditions regarding the security deposit. So just ask all the questions before giving any money and make sure you have everything discussed in written form.

Warning to all prospective tenants!! I've rented properties in London for a number of years but have never come across such flagrantly dishonest agents. With seemingly no ethics they epitomise everything that is wrong in the sector. Please ensure that any statements/promises they make are confirmed in writing before you sign.

Its nice to see some positive reviews here as well as the usual moans. I used Morgan Randall recently and granted, they are not the cheapest agent but are very transparent. All their paperwork is extremely detailed and explains all the potential costs of renting through them as well as clearly setting out the whole tenancy process. In all my 15 years of renting property in London, I have never come accross an agency which has a clear tenancy process as Morgan Randall has. You're bound to get the odd 'bad' sales person in any estate agent, but in the end, its the company's way of working which counts.

Absolutely Terrible and Pathetic! Worst service you can imagine. Pity that this site only allows me to put minimum of one star, I would have given them negative stars otherwise. This guy named ****** who works with their CW office took 400 pounds holding deposit from us but still continued to take offers from others at the same time. Moreover, he was so unprofessional that he did not pick up our phone entire next day that led to us missing out on another home as well.
Given that they charge you so high admin fee, they just deserve negative stars rather than even one.

The agent never showed for the viewing. When I rang (20mins after arranged time) the office wondering where she was the person on the other end said she was on her way. 20mins later she still had not arrived, so I left. She never rang to apologize or give an explanation. If I was letting a flat I owned I certainly would not use them.

My wife's parents signed an offer for a flat, which included a holding deposit. The signing was performed at the flat where for which they made the offer for. Within 20 minutes however, they had changed their minds and phoned the agent to tell him they have changed their mind and do not want to proceed with the offer. He acknowledged and hung up. The very next morning they received an email confirming that the Landlord had accepted their offer!!!! When phoning the agent, hey gave them a soap story that someone else had had faxed the offer through and someone else had taken their deposit from their account.
Following conversations resulted in no further progress and the money has not been returned.

Avoid these people at all costs. Last year they let my flat and then claimed the tenants would only agree to an 18 month contract. Since then from talking to the tenants they didn't want to either and were forced into it by Morgan Randall. Basically the tenants are locked into 18 months and I have paid 18 months fees up front. There is a 12 month break clause. I can claim the fees back once the break clause kicks in. However whether they pay or not is a different matter. They also tried to make me agree to them being sole agent if the break clause was executed. I got it removed. READ THEIR TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY!!!!

These people cannot be trusted. This company is in serious financial trouble and haven't paid their bills. They have entered into a CVA (Company Voluntary Arrangement) to avoid administration. You can check on the Companies House website. Avoid them at all costs.

I let my property out via Morgan Randall and was very impressed with the professionalism and the speed with which the let my property. I called up on the tuesday and someone came and valued my property that day. They got me a tenant on the friday and the got me a really good rent. I would definatly reccommend them.
