   The staff at Manning Stainton were excellent right from the very beginning, ie. the valuation to the very end and the completion. We had a protracted sale due mainly to 'chains breaking down behind us ' but during the whole process they were very proffessional, supportive, cheerful and always kept us up to date with developements either good or bad.

   I would highly recommend the agents anyone and the staff Vicky, Joanne and Emma certainly earnedl their money whilst selling our property.

   I swopped from another agent and quite frankly the best move I made. Manning Stainton are a league above. All the staff were professional, polite and seemed to really care about providing the best service they could. The valuer James was great and spot on with his valuation and Lesley was fantastic and worked hard and got me full asking price on my house and she chased and followed the sale through all the way, even when I was stressing!! What a star! Its been a very difficult, long road for me with one thing or another but Manning Stainton made it a whole lot better for me. I really can't thank them enough for all they have done for me. I would not hesitate to recommend them, my only regret is I didn't use them in the first place, in my opinion if you want to sell your house 'there is no place like mannings'. thank you!

   I pretty much received the service i expected from such a big company, i was kept in the loop often enough, and some times i was kept ahead of the estate agent from my solicitor or mortgage adviser, but this was only a phone call ahead or max an hr. so all in all i was happy with the speed i was kept informed from Andrea. I was grateful for the help she provided in getting the house we wanted to purchase for the price we wanted, however when it came to the sale of our own house we where drastically let down. 3 estate agents all came with the same value, however this being the case, i would assume they would use the same method as surveyors to get an accurate and realistic price, which would match what a mortgage company would lend. we were told to put the property on at £110,000 , agreed a price at £102,000 but then the property got surveyed at £89,000. i do not blame the estate agent but at the same time can not help feeling led on by this glory price.

   Andrea did her job very well, i feel manning staintons house valuer massively let us down.

   We had a really difficult transaction, through no fault of Mannings & Clare throughout was amazing, really supportive, kept us fully informed of everything that was happening & communicated to all parties on a daily basis when required, chasing every detail. We ended up ditchng our first purchaser as he turned out to be a bit of a timewaster & within 48 hours Mannings had found another buyer who completed in 5 weeks - amazing service - I can't thank them enough, particularly Clare. Everyone at the branch is always very professional & friendly, calls are returned when they say they will & everyone is chased through the process to make it as seemless as possible. I don;t think we'll be moving again for a while but I would highly recommend Manning Stainton to anyone.

   Manning Stainton demonstrated excellent customer service throughout. Once sold Shelley Joyce was the main contact she kept buyers/seller and solicitor up to date on a weekly basis. The sale became quite complex, and took a further 6 months. Shelley managed all parties involved was efficient, professional and positive, kept pushing the various people for progress and communicated on a regular basis.
   This resulted in the completion of the sale and achieving the result that everybody wanted. Thank you.

   2 years ago we rented properity from Maining Stainton agency. We had any problems at all throught the process of checking and renting. We recevied very fast everything what we needed to move in to the properity. 2 months ago my wife left me after 12 years of marriage. In one day I stayed with nothing. She also left arrears of the rent. My doctor diagnosed heavy depression. I wasn't even able to speak properly. Manning Stainton gave me excellent help in that hardest for me times. Especially one person : John Sheader. He helped me to finish tenancy. He also spoke with landlord in my name to help me to pay the debt off. Only because of his help I can live normally now. The word excellent is not strong enough to describe his and Manning Stainton service given to me.
   Thank you for all service and help.
   In my opinion Manning Stainton is the best agency, and I never forget them.

   With a really difficult move facing us and family issues building up we really needed an estate agency that would take care of our situation and "go the extra mile" for us. In short, we got it. The 4 people we met through this branch - Nikki Dresser, Helen Terry, Cheryl Broxup and Rayma Ridsdale - were each absolutely outstanding and the care and attention we received from each of them for our sale was incredible. I would highly recommend this branch and agency to anyone, they have given us nothing less at any point than a truly awesome level of service and care.

    I would highly recommend Manning and Stainton. Gill Landale has been excellent in every step of our purchase. She has kept us up to date when the sale was progressing much more than the solicitors. She has continually tried her best to make sure the sale went through as swiftly as possible without being pushy and was extremely understanding when our first purchase fell through. This company give estate agents a good name!

    The overall experience was very professional and the people I dealt with were always very helpful.
    Having bought and sold many properties over the last 30yrs, this is by far one of the best estate agents
    I have done business with. We were kept up to date with the on going process at least every week,
    from start to finish it took just 11weeks 3 days to market my property which was a good result.
    Thanks to everyone at the crossgates office.

    Chris negotiated a sale for my property which was taking a while to sell. He was honest about the price expectations and kept in touch regarding the progress of the viewings and the follow ups to them. Once an offer had been made after a number of viewings, Chris kept in regular contact with both myself as seller and with the buyer. He took note that I live overseas in New Zealand and sent status updates by email so I could access during my daytime hours. When the sale stagnated due to external factors, Chris kept liaising between myself, the buyer, my solicitors and the buyer's solicitors and got answers and assisted with smoothing the sale to completion. I would recommend Chris to anyone thinking of selling a house in this area. Great job Chris!

    My experience with Manning Stainton and John Sheader particularly, was great. He was always very quick at responding to my requests. Whether it was an issue with the property, or a request for the landlord to pay for gardening equipment to keep the place looking nice! John always got back to me without me having to chase. This is doubly surprising as the landlord was based in Canada! Not the usual experience I've had with letting agents in the past and certainly not the norm. Would only use MS if renting again in Leeds.

    The agent sorted out a property for myself and my partner. I explained the very tight timescales we needed to work to from the first house cock-up (YOUR MOVE).

    I explained to her about the location, budget, bedroom / garage combinations for the ideal house, and she very quickly came up with a fantastic house just across the road from the station. It was very unfortunate that this house fell through just less than two weeks before we were due to move.     My first experience of renting out my property through an agency turned into a nightmare, mainly due to the local Chapel Allerton based agency I was with, constantly contacting me requesting me to provide, replace or repair things for the tenants, which the agency happened to also make a profit from. After 6 months I was running at a loss and desperate to find an agency I could trust.

    Caroline Munn dealt with negotiations with great efficiency and speed and although she may sound forbidding on the phone she is friendly and accommodating .
    All other members of staff that I dealt with were very helpful and showed me around the property twice more after the initial viewing so that my builder and joiner could assess the property too.
