   Claire is one of the friendliest agents I have ever had the pleasure to deal with, it was my first experience in letting a property and Claire was so helpful in giving us all the tips and answering all of our questions to help us along the way.    My husband and I have just recently purchased our first home and the property was advertised through Maitlands. We viewed the property twice, first with a member of staff called Jack and the second with Darren. Both staff members very very professional and assisted us with all of our enquiries when looking around the property. The conveyancing transaction was very smooth and the contact that we had with Maitlands throughout was enjoyable. They did not pressurise us and only made contact when they were seeking an update on the progress of our mortgage application etc. When we collected the keys we were given some flowers and a wonderful hamper which was such a lovely touch. All members of staff that we encountered with Maitlands were absolutely lovely and I would recommend their services to others.

   I have used Maitlands Lettings as a tenant find service for my properties in Saltash for 5 years now. Time and time again they have provided us with a service that is second to none.
   The proffesional approach of the members of staff I deal with is superb and they are always up to speed with the situation.

   Mainlands appear to be very professional upfront and arranged viewings quickly. New tenant was secured within a week, so no complaint here. The only real issue was that the property was let at the wrong rent, so attention to detail is questionable.

   We found ALL the staff at Saltash efficient and Courteous, but would however mention Carole Southern and David Price, both of whose unfailing patience and professionalism impressed us.

   When viewing properties, Charlie was brilliant and ensured that we got to see all available properties within our search radius. She was always bubbly and made us feel that our house move was the most important thing she was working on (although I am sure she had many other home hunters to look after).
   After having an offer accepted, Paul Stone was very professional and ensured that everything ran smoothly through to the completion.
   Would definitely use Maitlands again and recommend them to anyone looking to move home.

    Claire Vincent took us to view a few properties that we had picked out. As it turned out, none were suitable but Claire listened to our requirements and within a day or two got back in touch with a property that had just come on their books and she really felt we should go and see. We viewed the property and immediately knew it was the one for us. From submitting the offer, to multiple viewings, to suggesting a conveyancer, to finding answers to our numerous questions, Claire was enthusiastic, helpful and kept us well informed throughout the process. She had a good knowledge of the local area, which was particularly useful as we didn't know the village very well. We appreciate that she works as part of a team, but we had no reason to deal with any other members of Maitlands on this occasion. If Claire is representative of the firm as a whole, then we would have no hesitation in using them in the future.

    I was a first time buyer and happened to fall upon a property that Maitlands were the agents for. I contacted the branch and was immediately impressed with the professionalism and understanding shown unlike others who just wanted me on their mailing lists. I ended up purchasing a property through Maitlands not the original but another that was recommended to me by them which I would never have found. The professionalism continued throughout the buying process. Nothing was too much hassle and I was always kept up to date with any matters that arose and were quickly actioned. A special mention must go to David Price as his hard work and and high professionalism made what can be a daunting process for a first time buyer, easy and hassle free. He was always available and every message left was replied to. He is a credit to Maitlands. Thank you.

    We have always used the Saltash office to sell our property and as usual we found them to be friendly,efficient, very much on the ball with regard to houses that may be suitable for our needs. With regard to the staff they are all worthy of mention but to single one person out it would have to be David. He is very proactive with regard to selling and an asset to the company.

    I am a first time landlord and found that the service i received from claire in Maitlands was second to none. firstly the advice on all aspects of letting that i received was invaluable as it gave a clear indication of what was both required and needed of me through the process of my letting. secondly the service was exceptional as she worked really hard to find a good tenant and kept me informed every step of the way. finally was the way she helped beyond her remit as shown by the way that, in order to help the tenants to move in earlier she took time out of her own personal time to move my tenants in and to bring to me all documents. will be using Maitlands again in future business and would recommend them to any other people looking to let their properties.

    HAVING TAKEN OUR PROPERTY OFF THE MARKET DUE TO A LOST SALE AFTER TWO LONG YEARS, IT WAS A DELIGHT TO RECEIVE THROUGH THE DOOR A HAND DELIVERED INFORMATIVE, INTRODUCTORY LETTER EXPLAINING THAT MAITLANDS HAD A BUYER, WHOSE WISH LIST APPEARED TO BE MET BY OUR PROPERTY DETAILS, AND POLITELY ASKING IF WE WOULD BE INTERESTED TO LET THEM VIEW. HAVING AGREED TO DO SO, WE RECEIVED AN OFFER AND ULTIMATELY A SALE WHICH WE WERE NOT EXPECTING. ALL THE STAFF AT MAITLANDS WERE PROFESSIONAL, COMMUNICATIVE AND NO QUERY OR CALL WAS TOO MUCH TROUBLE. THEY WON THIS SALE BY USING THEIR INITIATIVE WITH THE INITIAL CONTACT LETTER. MAITLANDS MADE OUR DREAMS A POSSIBILITY AND ULTIMATELY A REALITY. I CANNOT THANK THEM ENOUGH.

    We were looking for a property for over 4 months and we started with quite a few estate agents but had the best service from Lia at Maitlands in Plympton. This was the main reason we chose to continue looking for a property with them. She has a great manner and very professional and had myself and partners interests at heart. Her communication with us was great and made our journey of purchasing our first property as stress free as possible, as my partner was deploying to Afghanistan around the same time. I would strongly recommend using Lia as she was so helpful, up beat, happy and nothing was too much trouble. The property she found for us was beautiful and we couldn't be happier with our purchase.

    I have dealt with many estate agents in the capacity of a tenant. I can honestly say that the service offered by Maitlands is, without doubt, exceptional. The staff are friendly, honest, informative and make you feel valued. I would recommend them, especially the Plymouth branch, to anybody (in fact I have already done so to a couple of my colleagues. I wish all estate agents could follow their lead. The only other team that could match them were the Gentoo staff at Sunderland.

    Maitlands is very conveniently located next to Tesco and has a spacious well laid out modern Office. On entering the Office a member of staff immediately got up from their seat and asked if they could help; in the past I have found other Estate Agents to be less than helpful to visitors when they are on the phone. All staff are polite, friendly, professional and smartly dressed and leave you with the impression that they value your custom.     David & Jan were my first contacts with Maitlands and they were very professional, approachable, prompt, etc. But I would like to comment on all the staff at Saltash branch are all great at what they do ... and that they all work as a team. I was also very pleased with the service I received from mortgage advisor who also works from this office.     I recently used Natalie Eller of Matilands, Ivybridge for the purchase of my first property. The purchase was a reposession and therefore the process was more time pressured than a regular purchase and other agents were also marketing the property. The service that I received from Natalie was faultless. I was kept informed every step of the way and the process was stress free and seamless. The good humoured, approachable yet honest service that I received from Natalie and all of the staff at Maitlands Ivybridge made it a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. Having the Maitlands Ivybridge team and Natalie on my side filled me with confidence and I really felt a sense that they were fighting my corner in a competitive transaction. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Maitlands and Natalie to friends, family and colleagues and will certainly be using them again in the future.

    We were trying to sell two properties in a challenging market a month or so before Christmas and the market appeared to be challenging as recessionary pressures were very apparent locally. It seemed an almost impossible task as we had a very short period of time to secure our purchase, and I readily admit I was apprehensive about the amount of work that had to be done on my house.

    Maitlands Saltash had viewed and valued our property a couple of years ago however we chose not to sell at that time, however when my husband and I chose to split up and I was tasked with selling the house, Maitlands was my first choice. It's because they are fair, transparent and easy to deal with, available outside of the normal 9 -5 I would sometimes be able to speak to Jan Wain later than that which fitted in with work.

    All staff involved were helpful and efficient and they managed to get a suitable tenant only a few weeks after being on the market. During the subsequent agreement period they kept me informed as to progress and I now have what I hope will be a good long term tenant
