   i had a viewing on a filthy property which was suitable for my needs as a single parent. i was reassured that the property will be profesionally cleaned prior to moving in. straight after the viewing i went to the agents offices and filled out the application forms and paid the retainer for the property. after the week-end i was especting at least a courtesy phone call from the agent that was in charge of my bid (apparently with this agency u get an agent assigned to u) which didn't happen. i had to call him and ask what was happening and was told that he was waiting for a call back from a landlord. the next day he called and told me that the landlady was aprehensive of my bid and has accepted another one from a couple !!! what i do not understand is how come u can get refused on this grounds without even a proper background check, i had offered a guarantor, good referees, a clean credit score.

   We rented a property from Luff and compared to all other agents we have used, their charges were huge. We especially did not like the

   Luff Associates have been the most professional and friendly agent I have ever dealt with. I only have two properties let with them but I have also been a tenant and that was the reason I chose them to rent my properties out. I also have properties in other areas and Luff's service is far better than any other. I can say that Luff Associates always act in the best of interests and I can't speak highly enough of them. As a tenant and a landlord, I would highly recommend anyone to use them.

   We have recently moved out of a property that was managed by Luffs and to say we had a bad experience with them would be an understatement! Throughout the tennancy we had numerous problems with just a few to list number one being we had a leak in the roof which one night laying in bed i started to feel drops of water on my head, so I called luffs on there emergency number to be told to move the bed out the way and they would deal with it once they had spoken to the landlady. The problem was never fixed properly and we had to wait a week for someone to come out! Second problem in one of our bathrooms we had a toilet that once flushed it would backwash all the dirt, when we moved out they are trying to charge us for it even though we had informed them of this problem two months into an 18 month contract!

   Not a very good experience, and thier charges are hilarious. They charge A LOT more then high st agents - for no better service. Perhaps they should stop buying loads of personal number plates and spend the money on customer service training for thier staff. Would not recommend at all - avoid, there are plenty of other agents in the area. We found a brilliant one, high st name and half the price!

   On moving out we had the carpets professionally cleaned, and Luff used a check-out agency. The agency were happy with the condition of the property, but Luff were not and demanded that our cleaner re-clean the property for free. We refused, the check-out agency weren't interested. we ended up losing
