David Baldock is a true professional and a credit to his profession. I would highly recommend ladlows Finsbury Park branch. Being an absentee landlord with several properties in the area, I have been using another agent for one of these properties and what a nightmare it has been¬!( I would not like to divulge the name of the other agent as I am currently going through legal proceedings to reclaim back my property and also for non payment of rent, which they have collected from the tenant but haven’t passed that onto me¬!). Having contacted David from abroad, he was most helpful in guiding me through the early stages of my legal position with regards to the other agent. Not only that, he also arranged for a hand delivered legal document to be delivered to the other agent. Integrity and estate agents are perhaps two words that rarely go together, however this truly is the exception.

I had a couple of problems with Ludlow Thompson - firstly the accounting department weren't satisified with my proof of deposit protection but I received no notification of this and only found out when they withheld a month's rent and charged me for the admin fees. Secondly, due to some administrative problem with their rent collection before Christmas, they took 1.5 month's rent from my tenants, thought they had paid that to me and so only paid me 0.5 month's rent in Feb. Both these issues were compounded by the fact that my property consultant, Rebecca Edney left the company but I received no notification of this, so was still sending her unanswered e-mails for 3 weeks. As soon as I spoke to Ashley, he took ownership of both issues and pursued them to solution, whilst keeping me updated on the progress. It is a shame these issues occurred in the first place but I was most pleased with the way he dealt with them.

Alex, Dan and co were extremely helpful and efficient, finding me a flat on the very first day I entered their office. I was impressed with the way I was able to view it that very day. Also with the speed with which the preliminary steps (checking references, paying deposit, etc) were carried out. WIthin four weeks I was in possession of the key to the property, and am very satisfied with it.

Shamsul Uddin was an excellent estate agent, he went beyound what you will expect from an estate agent. he is very personable and yet very professtional. he explain step by step what I needed to get the property and was always available when I had any question regarding the property. Very impressed with the staff at Ludlow Thompson. Incredibly professional, helpful and informative through every step of the letting process. Beginning with the arrangement of viewings all the way through to moving in, everything was made as clear and as simple as it possibly could have been. I genuinely felt that they had the customer's best interest in mind.

Having viewed several properties with other agents before visiting Alex at Ludlow Thompson, I was finding the process of securing a tenancy frustrating in that the majority of agents were not listening to my requirements. Alex Broad at Ludlow Thompson actually took the time to find out what I was looking for in a property and, as a result, all the flats and houses he showed me, met with my expectations and cost specifications.
After putting in an offer and throughout the negotiations he was honest, diligent and personable meaning the process was quick and easy from my point of view.

We were very pleased with Ludlow Thompson and Mike Birleys help with letting our flat. I believe it was less that 2-3 days from going on the market to filled. He gave us advice on the new tenants pet and kept us updated along the way. Ludlow's has been maintaining our property for over 9 years and they have allways done a great job!

I particularly appreciated the time taken in the initial meeting prior to appointment to discuss my property thoroughly, my expectations, and ideas on how to sell it most effectively. I also really liked the level of research and relevant supporting documentation about recent sales of similar property in my area which was brought to this meeting. I felt the valuation was fair & realistic. A good level of interest / viewings was generated quickly in the first week of appointment and this ultimately led to our going to sealed bids and reaching a selling price well above asking.

We were in hurry and had a move in date which was impossible to move. Alex was great and we felt that he honestly cared that this was important - it was not an easy time as we had a complicated tenancy condition but Alex really pushed for our moving in date, for which we are extremely grateful.
Alex was professional, caring and easy to contact, we would recommend him personally.

As first time buyers the whole process of house buying was a bit of a minefield. Our estate agent really helped us through the process and kept us up to date with everything along the way..suggesting good local solicitors, how and when we were supposed to be doing things, even suggesting trusted electricians etc! More importantly with our sale Suzanne acted a a great liaison between us and the vendor who was particularly tricky to deal with. We really appreciated the continued support through the sale and were so happy when we finally got the keys..even if we did have to literally boot our vendor out the door on the evening of the day of completion!

The service from Ludlow Thompson was excellent, and in particular Kashif Awan was courteous, professional and extremely knowledgeable throughout. He provided a fast response to all questions and requests, going out of his way to ensure that all information was available as soon as possible. He also maintained very good communication with all parties involved with this purchase. I am very satisfied with my experience with Ludlow Thompson and would have no hesitation in using this estate agency again.

I was under the impression that Ludlow happened to be the best letting agents in London well i was sadly mistaken ! I have done nothing but run around after Ashley since day one , My rent is NEVER paid and I am always chasing to find out what the situation is as I do actually need this money!!
Every time I have called he says he is going to speak to accounts over and over again I am absolutely outraged.
I have spoken to my tenants and they claim Ashley is never in contact with them regarding the rent payments, to be frank I may have to start collecting the rent myself.Was this review helpful? Yes

Rebecca has been excellent in helping us with a broken washing machine and getting the matresses replaced. We have had a number of issues over the past few months, and she has always been very helpful and speedy with her responses. She is also great to deal with, always polite.

Working with Jay was a pleasure.
Answered queries promptly or referred to the correct person for an answer (unlike the property managers).
Went out of his way to visit the property and do a check out report when it hadn't been done by the company in the right time (once again we were let down by the lack of systems and process by LT as a company, but Jay did what he could t rectify this and provided his own personal report to help us.)

This review is specifically to explain my satisfaction with Ashley Heeks in the Worchester office. I have had an absolutely horrendous time working with Ludlow Thompson, having been shuffled to many different employees and experienced high costs in terms of time, money and annoyance. Ashley was able to turn the situation around as best he could and helped me get a replacement tenant approved and moved it as quickly as possible. He always answered the phone and was very willing to explain things to me - even if he already had many times before. While I wish that the situation had never become so difficult that he had to get involved, Ashley should be commended on his customer service and his willingness to go above and beyond to rectify a terrible situation.

Shamsul from Ludlow has been an excellent agent for me. He is very professional and has done an excellent job in letting my property. I would recommend Shamsul to all my friends who have properties in London. He has a hands on approach and has gone beyond what I had expected from him as my estate agent. He has kept me up to date and in the loop with all the potential tenants for my property and is extremely efficient. My property was marketed very well and a price was negotiated, which I was over the moon with. Shamsul seemed to have an outstanding grasp of the local real estate market which helped in the process of finding a tenant very quickly. Thanks again to Shamsul!

Matthew has been extremely efficient in dealing with all aspects of my letting. From the first valuation to keeping me up to date with the viewings that occured, everything has been excellent.
My property has been marketed in a very professional manner with excellent photos and has appeared on all of the major websites. Matthew has been in touch every step of the way to make sure that I was always aware of what was happening with my property throughout the process. I have been with other agents in the past but I have not come across the level of service and expertise that I have seen with Matthew and Ludlow Thompson.

We were very pleased with the service from Jay, who was really very good.
But the service from the managing agent's side of the business has been poor, dismal, atrocious. The worst service I think I have ever experienced. We have tried to raise this with customer services and managers, but all our problems (and there have been many for 3 and a half years now) have been mostly brushed aside or ignored. And there is no improvement despite endless promises. Would be happy to talk to someone further about this as no director has ever returned an email.
