I have been in contact with David since the beginning of my search - for more than 2 months. He confidently showed the strong competence and capability not only of becoming clear with my endless list of requirements, but also being patient enough with my capriciousness.
I viewed many properties with him on 2 viewings. He was the only agent who is still keeping the contact with me on a consistent basis and who never showed me anything which was not fitting my requirements, given current availability of properties on the market.

Rhena helped us from the second me and my partner walked throught the door. She was kind, polite and listened to exactly what we needed. She was always in touch with us and communicated thoroughly with any bumps in the road that occurred, even when the date for moving in was altered. It felt like we were dealing with someone who enjoyed her work, which was great.

I first met David at the property. He proved to be very professional and friendly, allowing us time to look through the property without feeling rushed or under pressure. David encouraged us to ask any questions and was able to provide the information we needed. Overall he was informative and a very nice person who made us feel comfortable.
We dealt with Charlotte when we popped in to the office without an appointment to put an offer down on the property. Charlotte was very sweet and professional. She walked us through the process and made sure we understood what was required of us and allayed any concerns we had about the amount of money we were about to hand over. Charlotte provided further assistance to us when we emailed her with follow up questions and clarifications.
With both David and Charlotte we felt that we were (and still are) being looked after and that our questions are being addressed without feeling like we are imposing on them. I would definitely recommend Ludlow Thompson to friends based on the interactions with David and Charlotte.

New tenants were found on the first day of viewing, and vetting process was quick and without problem. Tin Lee, the original person I was dealing with at Ludlow Thompson then left the company and there was initially a lack of transparency about this. However David Ornsby was able to ensure things went smoothly on the day the tenants moved into the property (there was an issue with the Check In report not being done) and has been very helpful in helping to resolve issues with the Head Office regarding overpayment of fees.

From our initial dealings, David has always made sure he got back to me about things as promptly as possible. When taking me to view the first Ludlow-Thompson advertised property I'd seen, we chatted easily & he was very approachable with a great wry sense of humour. During the purchase of our property both Sue and Mandy went above and beyond to help us. There were several occasions where they both had to liase with the seller to resolve issues and several times where sue had to meet us early in the morning and was liasing with us well into the evening. They were prompt in responding to us and are both extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
Nothing was to much trouble for either of them and there were a lot of queries and issues that had to be dealt with along the way. I would highly recommend both if them and if/when we come to sell our property they would be my first port of call.

Kieran was highly professional throughout the process and provided an excellent service. He is very good at keeping you informed - whether by phone, email or text - he provides regular updates and is quick to respond to any messages you leave him. Information relating to my corresponding purchase was passed to my buyer quickly and accurately which meant that we were able to complete the chain of transactions as planned.
Of particular note is the effort he went to when problems arose (so often the case in conveyancing). He was proactive and constructive in coming to a solution and provided considerable assistance to me in dealing directly with a workman and owner of a neighbouring property so speeding up the process.
Highly recommended.

This agent was faultless. Well managed and caring staff. Extremely hard working easy to deal with all staff. Very focused and always having a drive to achieve a Sale. I have dealt with lots of agents on Lordship lane Dulwich and this Agent floors them all, thus coming up tops. Staff whom I refer to include previous Manager Manager Mandy Burrows, Susan Henry-Mcmullen, Simona Kazakeviciute and new Manager Mark Williamson.
There ability to constantly find new ways to show your property, market your property and identify the best selling points of your property is outstanding.

During the process of negotiation I was pleasently and professionally complaisant and I felt comfortable with the company due to its professional and friendly welcome. The 2 bedroom property shown to me was better then expected and very well kept, however, it was sad to hear that it wasn't possible to use the living room as a third bedroom which ended the negotiation with the landlord. I was shown a second property which location unfortunately wasn't as good and I decided to go back to my previous landlord who offered me a double room.
Overall, i have had a pleasant experience with Ludlow Thomson and would be more then happy to come back if my living situation would change again.Was this review helpful? Yes

As a fairly experienced landlord with a few rental properties, I get calls from various agents all the time. Long before I'd ever used Ludlow Thompson I began to realise that their sales calls were always more polite, less pushy and generally more friendly than the other ones I was getting. So when it came time to let my flat again I figured they were worth a try. I haven't regretted it - they found a tenant swiftly and with the minimum of hassle, the various checks were carries out efficiently and the rate was very fair. The lady I dealt with, Neli, was always friendly and more importantly quick to update me (there's nothing worse than having to chase agents for info on your own properties!)
I'd definitely be happy to use them again.

It was the worst experience I have ever had in my life. They left us without a flat for nearly one month. The agent of the Wimbledon Office, David Ornsby, lied all the time, saying 'the flat is yours' before the end of the credit check and pushing us to give the notice to our landlords. When the credit check was not successfull for two of us, we discovered that we would lose the deposit of 1000 pounds, despite what he told us the first time. Ammal took on the property from Luke who was also very good..Ammal went above and beyond the call of duty. He sourced me an excellent tenant, but this fell through because the property wasn't ready in time for the tenant. Throughout the whole process he has helped by keeping me informed on how the building works have been progressing, he even went to the property, which is a fair drive away, out of office hours, to take photos so I could instruct a plumber on taps for the bathroom. Chloe was extremely helpful when we were looking for a property. She understood what we were after, presented only properties that she knew we'd be interested in and took us to several viewings, always being realistic as to our needs and budget.
As well as being very professional she was also very nice to deal with, had a nice friendly manner, in person, on the phone and by email.

Ludlow and Thompson have been the worst lettings agents I have ever dealt with. We have been repeatedly lied to throughout our tenancy. Our house was in a state of disrepair when we moved in, despite repeated promises of renovation before we moved in, we informed them immediately of the problems but they were never resolved. The conditions were appalling; dirt, mold, damp, mice, broken appliances, windows... the list goes on and on. Environment health have been involved, these were not petty grievances on our part. I always found Chloe Adams to be very professional and helpful at all times. She was always on time for viewings and even attended a viewing on Good Friday afternoon. She tried to liaise with both parties to try and agree a positive outcome but unfortunately no sale was agreed. I had quite a few issues with certain aspects of the property and Chloe did ask that I put these in an email in order that she could clarify or try and look into them.

As we were moving from Glasgow to London my partner moved first and began the process of looking for a property to rent. She set up a appointment with Darren at Ludlow and took the first flat he showed her, we had been worried that by using an estate agent we would be 'up sold' properties that we couldn't really afford but this proved to be unfounded.
Once we had noted our interested in the flat we were setup on the company's online accounts system which I was very impressed with. The system was easy to use and provided the contact details of our Ludlow contact Kerry.

 for the apartment and the day before the move in David informed us that the old tenants refused to move out. The agency left us without a flat, doing nothing to help us. The landlord and the agent told us that they were sure the old tenalts would leave the 20th of april (so 16 days after the first date) because of an other contract signed from them for another house. So David convinced us to sign a second contract, but after a lot of lies and after he never answered the phone when I was looking for him, two days before the new move in date, he told us that may be the tenants had changed their mind deciding to don't leave and that he was processing the refund of the money without our consens.
He was a lier, he was never available, he left us in a lot of problems and his attitude was offensive when he treated us like kids and when he didn't take me serius when I refered him the words of my Lawyer. He answered me like I was pretending that I had a lawyer, and this is very offensive.
After that he said that he processed the refund and that in two days we could have the money in our account, while the confirmation mail shows that the refund was done one week later, after I went to the office to speak to the manager.
