Extremely helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Whether you are a landlord like me or a tenant you are in safe hands. Everything is done to the letter of the law. Leaders specialise in just Lettings and are a regulated agent. Never had a problem with any member of staff, they all go out of thier way to help.

I have been using the Fareham branch of Leaders to let my property potfolio for well ove 10 years now. In all this time I found them to be extremely helpful, knowledgeable and professional. They are a dedicated lettings agent (unlike most agents) and have an in-depth knowledge of the industry, it standards and regulations. I have tried using a few other local smaller agents over the years, not only let property on my behalf, but also to rent a house for myself and family. All I can say is - don't go anywhere else, unless you are prepared for countless problems and headaches!
Leaders are in a league of their own and, quite frankly, are the best. Their staff are all highly trained and I can't recommend them enough.
If you are either a Landlord or a tenant seeking a property - don't waste your time trying the others - go to Leaders in Fareham. You'll get the best service in a very wide area. That's why I have always used them and will continue to do so!!Was this review helpful? Yes

The service was so shambolic it was almost funny. Dozy agent made everything painfully slow and difficult. The only efficiency we experienced was their finance guy processing a large 'outstanding' credit card fee that we had not been told we'd have to pay when we signed up and that they only raised six months later when we moved out. We'll never use them again.

I have had no issues with renting through Leaders' Forest Hill office. They kept us up to date with the tenancy agreement process and they have continued to communicate with us on a regular basis about lease renewals etc. Their fees are reasonable and I really appreciate having a named contact - in our case, David - for the entire process.
They also listened to what my flatmate and I were looking for and did not try to show us properties that didn't match.

Having lived in a property rented by leaders for 3 years all i can say is at every hand it has been a very bad experience
Moving into the property was very quick and efficent almost a pleasent experience but once in the property thats when all the problems started we were promised that the windows would be changed as the property was very cold in the winter for which this was promised over 3 years and still was not rectified on leaving the property. we had even offered to replace the windows out of our money and deduct from the... I became a partner with Leaders when my old agency (Lavery Lettings) ceased trading. Lavery had always given a fair service and certain staff (who I am glad to say have been retained by Leaders) were always very helpful, efficient and friendly. My main complaint with Lavery Lettings was that the rent was almost always late.
Since moving to Leaders (Allan and Bath in the Ferndown area) the level of service has been excellent. I had a problem with the tenant not being able to pay his rent. During the letting process the agent told me that damage to floorboards was recent and scheduled for early repair. I was misled by them, as shortly thereafter, I received a letter from the previous tenant telling me not to believe anything said about the floorboards that were damaged when she had moved in and were never repaired - I have left the property 8 months later and they are still not repaired!
On leaving the property, it took 6 weeks to get any deposit back, despite their undertaking to return within 10 days, less any retention for items in dispute.

I fiind that Leaders provide an excellent service. I have a small portfolio of properties and they provide full management of them. Are they expensive, yes, but you get what you pay for. No one likes paying out money, but Leaders provide a professional service, queries are answered promptly and I have been satisfied for years now with their service.
Compare them with other agents, no comparison. The agents who do nothing, who never respond to letters or phone calls, who never leave the office to check on properties.Was this review helpful? Yes

I moved to dealing with Leaders after having a bad experience with Pearsons and then letting my property privately and found them to be excellent. The Manager in Eastleigh office, Ellie Davies, sat down and explained all their different levels of service to me and answered all my questions. They quickly found Tenants for me who have turned out to be excellent and dealt with any maintenance issues quickly and without fuss.

I have rented using several companies, with mixed results. Leaders have undoubtably been the best. Informed viewing information, fast processing of the documents and a wonderful and helpful level of customer service. They were upfront about their fees and I have used them a couple of times now as i have had to relocate around Surrey. Their in house property management makes a huge difference as I know who I am talking to and they deal with issues quickly and efficiently. I can't stand calling someone in a central call centre and it being a new person each time who has no clue what the problem is. This never happened with leaders. They also, at t

I have rented my current property through Leaders (and its predecessor prior to acquisition) for the past three years. I could not envisage a more helpful, efficient and friendly service. Throughout the course of the tenancy there have been a few maintenance issues - including the shower not working at Christmas! Leaders always responded extremely swiftly to fix these problems using their team of professional contractors. All correspondence with our landlady, who is based overseas, has been extremely well managed and the excellent relationship we have with her is testament to the team at Leaders' professionalism. Were it not for the fact that it is time to purchase, rather than rent, a property I would undoubtedly be renewing my contract at the end of the current term. I strongly recommend Leaders - you'd be hard pushed to find better service from the tenant's perspective.

I have been a tenant of leaders for the past year! I have been amazed at how well they have looked after my interests, treated me as a tenant and further more managed my property as the landlord lives across seas. Any issues I have had have been dealt with immediately. They have been so great that when I decided to move again I didn't want to use another agent so they have found me a new property to move to in June and once again have been absolutely brilliant in every aspect of sorting it all out. In fact they asked exactly what it was that I wanted and found the perfect property for me and got me a viewing straight away. I pop in to say hi to all the staff and am always greeted with a warm welcome. Some of the best customer service I have ever received. Particulalry Tim, Simon and Helen have been fantastic. A brilliant letting agent!!

I have dealt with Leaders over the last five years, both as a tenant (while we did a development on our current property) and as a Landlord (they have arranged tenants for us in both Coombe Bury (A large three bedroom Victorian converted townhouse and Coombe Bury Flat (a one bed flat under our own property). We have always been highly satisfied with their performance. We have had virtually no void rental periods and a series of quality tenants. Also they have been helpful with general advice and I have attended one of the regular property seminars they run which was most useful.

My flatmate and I have recently moved into a property in South East London which we rented through Leaders Forest Hill branch. From our first viewing, right through to signing our contracts and collecting the keys we found the staff at Forest Hill to be extremely helpful and provided excellent customer service. They were very flexible as to times in which we could view properties, which due to my work schedule was especially convenient. I would be happy to recommend this estate agent.

Debra Barman Fleet Office - Rude, arrogant, only interested in contractors, hates tenants - discusting customer service, telephone manner and voice makes you cringe, argumentative. Rip you off at the end of the tenancy. Forget your deposit.....Nasty piece of work. Asking for a contractor to do works - forget it, she will only allow it when she thinks fit, could wait weeks.Please dont go to Leaders in Fleet .......................

At the end of my tenancy period the agent attempted to withhold about one third of my deposit, purportedly acting on their client's (the landlord's) advice, to cover costs incurred by the landlord due to the relatively "grubby" state in which the property was allegedly left in. Following weeks of unsuccessful negotiations, I took the matter to the dispute service.

We are not having a great time with Leaders. First of all our property was immaculate when we moved in, therefore the inventory states that it is immaculate. From the first week we started to notice damp and mould appearing in the bathroom. This swiftly became large patches of black mould. Despite it being winter we started to leave windows and doors open and the fan on constantly, but this had no effect.

We are having a very bad experience with Leaders - especially with property management wing. The response to queries is very poor and we have to follow-up a million times to get a response. We are being charged an unreasonable checkout fees and additional rent for no reason. Very bad experience overall, will never recommend to anyone.

DO NOT GO NEAR LEADERS! We moved in to a property last year and our inventory mentioned mould and mildew but nothing had been done to rectify it. The property suffered with a severe damp problem which we kept reporting. Leaders couldn't really be bothered and nor could the landlady. We got so fed up that I phoned Leaders to enquire what our notice period was and was told a month. A couple of weeks later we were served with the landlady's notice asking us to vacate the property. Absolutely rubbish customer service. I enquired about a couple of properties. They answered my initial email, but totally ignored subsequent ones, and phone calls, which I think is very rude. I would never look at another property they market and have since found another lovely property with another agent. They are very unprofessional. Don't bother wasting your time with this agent.

I am so happy I am not the only one that has experienced leaders to such a bad level!!!!! I absolutely hate them! They kept on taking more and more money from our deposit, so in the end I just told them to stick it I wanted out!!! The next day they put the rest of our deposit into my account withno response from them which wasnt worth bothering about! We moved into a one bed house and it was really dirty when we moved in so we requested for it to be cleaned, but as we had a dog they didn't get it cleaned so whenwe came to move out we then Had to pay! We are overseas landlords and let throu Leaders (never again!) They failed to identify arrears on the property which they should do within 6 days. We noticed that the amount being collected was less than the rent agreed and flagged this up....they had no idea what was going on. They made the error of mis-allocating the desposit to the rent acct so it looked like the tenant was in credit for over two months when in fact NO rent had come in, this was right at the start of the tenancy. They had still been charging us the full commission thou, even when NO rent has been coming in.
We sent a complaint letter whcih was never acknowledged and have just re-sent it...in effect we have been paying for a tenant to live in our house and an agent who can't even do basic accounting....NEVER USE!!!

I can substantiate my rating with my personal experience because I have been dealing with Leaders in Winchester since 2006. I have also been a tenant from time to time and my daughters are also tenants so I have a very thorough understand of the accommodation world from different perspectives including costs. Agents such as Leaders have a very difficult task of managing and pleasing both the Landlords and the Tenants and this task can be a lot more difficult than we think due to various personalities, legislation, requirements and associated costs. We all have a stake in our community and our society at large irrespective of whether we are tenants, landlord, company owners, employees etc so any means of expressing our opinions is the only way of improving the standard our lives. However in order for our opinions to have maximum effect they need to be informed comments which requires us to educate ourselves with all the relevant factors.

they have told us that the landlord wants the property back at the end of our tenancy to sell or move back into, only to find they are advertising it on the leaders website for £50 more than we pay, (we have already had an increase of £25 this year). Before we found out it was being re let, I rang to ask for an extension of a few weeks on the move date as we cant move into the other property we found until then.....This was declined as "the Landlord requires the property back on that exact date". We have been here 3 years and Leaders clearly feel the time is now right to charge another mug all the extortionate fees to move into the house.
Be warned....Thanks Leaders, Merry Xmas, you have affectively made a family homeless, we have had no disputes, our inspections have come back excellent, no reason other than greed to do this.Was this review helpful? Yes

Wish i read a review of them before i went in. Absolutely awful, expensive, staffed by idiots and about as understanding as a brick wall. Lets not kid ourselves most agencies are bad, but this place not only takes the biscuit, it takes the whole bloody pack. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, which i'm telling you now are steep. The experience i had with leaders, was the first dealing with renting through an agency and to be honest the only good thing to come out of this is that i will be very very careful with any agency i ever use in the future.

If I could give them a 0 out of 5 I would have!! Came to moving out and they decided we owed money for all sorts, one being getting it professionally cleaned (even though it was dirty as hell when we moved in) every time we rang the amount kept going up to the point of them deciding they were with holding the whole deposit until we agreed to their demands! They then proceeded to hang up on us and refused to speak anymore! Having to go to a solicitor to try and get our money back! PLEASE AVOID THIS LETTING AGENT AT ALL COSTS!!

Stay away from Leaders!! They are very, very unprofessional, It was a horrible nightmare to live in an apartment managed by Leaders. After signing the Tenancy Agreement, the quality of customer service was below all standards and the quality of property management was really, really low. I walked in with an enquiry about letting a flat, they charge 125 a tenant to run a reference and credit check, with no chance of a refund if you don't end up getting the flat. This is a total rip-off!! Avoid!

I have to say, I have been nothing but shocked and appalled by the service Leaders provide. Above all their other sins, THEY OVERCHARGE FOR EVERYTHING. And not just overcharging either. They even try and charge you for "services" which are completely insane. For example, they tried to charge my partner and I 25 pounds each for speaking to our new agent on the phone and confirming that we pay our rent on time. Ludicrous.

I moved into an apartment i rented from Leaders! Unfortunately the house is Heavily mice infested! (they come out from the fireplace). I complained to leaders, all they cld do was send someone to set up 2 mice trap which never caught an ant talkless of a mice. I spent at least £20 every month buying mice Glue traps! I have kept on complaining to them they do not bother!!!!!

Please dont use Leaders they are bunch of unprofessionals. Letting agent showed us the property and we paid admin fee to confirm that we are moving in on 9th July and just 4 days before the agent called us to say that there is no electric and gas as it is new constructions. The work is being carried out. He basically cheated initially and didnt mention anything like this. Also we have already given notice to our existin Landlord as Leaders agent confirmed that refrences have come back fine. So we are left in the middle without confirmation that when we would be moving in. Strongly recommend that you should use them.

They don’t get the nick name bleaders for nothing!
We viewed the property and noticed a few things needed sorting, 2 weeks later we move in and nothings been done. A few weeks later they come out and repair some of the issues but not the major mould problem throughout the house. We complained about this to Leaders and the council so the landlord evicted us instead of fixing the problem! We then hire a cleaning company to clean everything (even though it was dirty when we moved in, that was one of the issues we had) and now they are trying to charge us an unspecified amount to clean and to replace stuff that wasn’t there in the first place? We wrote letters telling them for example there was no washing line and no door on the front room but they say they didn't receive it! Now we have to fight to get our money back. We do however have a video recording of the house when we moved in so will fight to get every penny back.
Leaders were very kind and professional to us when signing the contract and are the complete opposite when leaving.

Terrible service have been waiting for a cooker for 8 weeks since moving in and no shower to date. Staff are rude. They don't have a complaints department because it would bankrupt the company.

Do not use this company! Everything was fine during my tenancy but the check out was where the problems started! During my time in the flat the reports had always been glowing regarding how the property was looked after. When leaving the property I ensured the flat was deep cleaned, carpets cleaned the works! The flat was much cleaner than when I moved in.
Yet they managed to come back and say I needed to pay

Never cared for us as customers. When we left the property they took 280 out of our deposit without considering our points of view. The inventory made in the beginning of the contract vs. the one made at the end was completely different. The last one was just too harsh and strict and they claimed we painted the walls.... we never did that. Also, they just charged 40 for confirming we would renew contracts every 6 months, what a waste of money and time. The women who work at leaders seem to be just so unprepared and not having any education at all, they just push papers and ask for your money. Stay away from leaders!! they are really really unprofessional.

I would advise people not to use Leaders as you will not get your deposit returned. Me and my housemates are still fighting for our deposit despite leaving the house in exactly the same condition as it was when we moved in. The 'property managers' are rude, evasive and delibrartely unhelpful. If you want your money back use anyone but them!

Well what a complete contrast between two branches of the same company. I first rented through Leaders Redhill and thought their service was excellent, very friendly and efficient.
When the time came to move out of my flat it was completely different story. They became un co operative, aggressive and would not return my calls. After leaving a clean property they charged me two thirds of my deposit because i didnt have reciepts for professional cleaning of the property.

Leaders have been ineffective in dealing with faulty appliances roof leaks etc all year. Charges for their contract and service are high, seemingly hundreds of pounds. At the time of moving out they have tried to hang onto much of the deposit due to damage such as mildew to the shower sealant there when we arrived. It has only been the threat of the estate agent ombudsmen which has resulted in two thirds our deposit being returned, we are still having to fight for the rest.

My son & his girlfriend placed all their trust in the staff at the Kingston office only to be laughed at literally when they fell on hard times. Many many ex-tenants have all stated that the return of the deposit is nothing short of wishful thinking . So part with your cash at your own mercy.

I would never ever use Leaders again. I am a recent graduate from the University of Southampton and me and my 4 other house mates have had a terrible time dealing with Leaders since leaving the property in August this year. We have had to fight to get our deposit back despite having to put up with a very poor house which had severe heating issues, was dirty to begin with and had no working shower for 2 weeks. We are currently still in the process of getting our money back, and due to the hassle have agreed to take less of our deposits than we put in, despite being perfect tenants. Our property manager is consistently difficult to get hold of, never calls back when promised and has overall been very unhelpful and in some instances very rude. Please listen to this review. Do not use Leaders.

Following my recent departure from my rented property let to me by leaders, i will never ever recommend this company to anyone. For example:
They knowingly let this property to me with an illegal stair case breaking all health and safety rules, two months before my tenancy was finished they inspected the property and stated that the garden shed was falling apart and was unsafe to enter. They also regularly entered my house with a key without informing me, once whilst I was ill in bed.

Very pleased with how Leaders have dealt with the flat I'm renting through them. The flat above us decided it was a good idea to leave the water running in their kitchen sink when they were out. We had water pouring through our light fittings. Leaders dealt with the problem very swiftly getting access to the flat above turning off the water to stop further damage. Our flat was decorated very quickly with no hassle to us. Well done!!!!

The worst service and worst run office I have ever been involved with! The failed to do our check out of Tenants on the agreed date, and did not chase this up (despite us chasing them) for 6 days later only to find out the check out had not been done! Flash forward and opps... they also did not get the Tenants forwarding address and opps... they advised us we could start to repair the property as the Tenants had trashed it! prior to the Check Out being done. We are now in a dispute with the Tenants (e-mail only as heaven forbid Leaders could manage to get an address for them), and the Tenants are disputing everything for which we don't have full supporting documentation and photo's on the Check Out as this was not done as agrranged and agreed! So, the office manager blamed someone who is no longer with the business, then ignored our requests for a How to Complain Process. We are out of pocket over

I am disputing the tenancy deposit being held back. I cleaned the house and had the carpets professionally cleaned, I pride myself on my cleaning which I can guarantee is better than most. OH and they let landlords into the property to do a wrongful pre checkout! Without your permission. Holding back stupid amounts for stupid purposes! Avoid avoid avoid not only are the unprofessional they are rude and uneducated.
Their correspondance is always late, incorrect and circumstancial. I was accused of smoking in the property! I don't smoke! I would never use Leaders again and I urge people never to use them unless you would like to have daylight robbery performed on you.

I would never use Leaders again. They are the most avaricious money grabbing and expensive bunch I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. They take 6 months commission from the first months rent, plus all their other charges which are duplicated to the tenant as well.
Tenants are encouraged to pay rent early so its in the bank on time, do you think I got it on time? No chance! I have been misled by their staff about rent and deposit arrangements. There is supposedly a discount for letting more than one property with them but they didn't want to give it. They put a family of refugees who didn't seem to have lived in a house before in so the house was unlettable afterwards. Steer clear for less stress!

1 star is not even good enough for Leaders. They are the worst - Surbiton office. Stay away.
I lived with a blocked pipe for 3 weeks with nowhere to have a bath only to be told I might be charged wen the problem existed wen I moved. I was in that property for 3 months before I moved out in the middle of the night when I told them to release me from the contract.
Never deal with Leaders unless you want to die of stress. My friend also had a similar experience - she moved only to find that the flat had no water at all.

We have arranged to view one of their properties, which is by the way in another city from where we currently live - thus involving some travelling. Got there and the agent could not open the door of the property. To make things worse she mentioned she knew the keys had a problem, but that it was worth to try!!!! And she still wanted to book us another appointment!

Great agent, good customer service - alot of the reviews on here are about deposit. If you looked after the property in the 1st place you wouldnt have a porblem. They are very hot on cleaning, so make sure you clean the property as you found it.

I can hardly believe how bad Leaders were.
Their staff secretly entered my flat to show people round while I was work. I caught them one day when I was off sick.
I had 4 months with no washing machine and they ignored my calls about it.
Their management of contracts was terrible.
Generally, they seemed to have absolutely no interest and made no effort at all to resolve any issues.
You might be thinking that only people who have bad experiences write reviews so therefor its not really a fair reflection of Leaders. Perhaps some people have a good experience, but when it comes to your home, I would urge you not to take the risk.

Truly atrocious agent. We rented with them for 3 1/2 years and had nothing but excuse after excuse from Leaders Croydon. They did not oblige their duties as managing agents to maintain the property we rented through them.
Where eventually given a section 21 to quit after 18 months complaining about the boiler constantly failing on the 15th December!!!

I was split whether or not to reccomend or slate. I have rented through leaders twice, the first time was great - wonderful landlord and great property, decided to move for better parking. HOWEVER moved into a property that was property managed by the landlord, as soon as problems began leaders didnt wanna hear of it, they took the rent and couldnt care less about the tenants. Its a shame because I will now tell others never to use them as they simply do not care about customer service. They knew that our landlord has caused many problems in the past and yet still continue to let his properties - We also had issues with them not setting up the standing order correctly and then trying to charge us for late rental payments. They were bugging us the whole application process to chase our previous landlord for a reference - EVEN though it was THEIR client that the reference was coming from and what am I paying the reference fees for if I have to do all the chasing! - rubbish customer service, rubbish property management, overpriced so AVOID like the plague.

Unbelievably poor.
They kept my deposit due to having 'upgraded their computer system during my tenancy' and so had no record of my payment.
I couldn't find the receipt and so had no proof that i had paid it, although try moving into one of their flats without paying a deposit and see how far you get.
Anecdotal evidence suggests that getting your deposit back from leaders is considered worthy of celebration.

Leaders Ltd, are -- in my opinion -- a bunch of muppets.
When the tenancy agreement began, they failed to send the signed standing order paperwork to the bank, then tried to charge a late payment fee when the funds weren't transferred as expected. They also demanded payment twice for the first month's rent (taken in advance).
My branch don't seem to understand periodic tenancies; every other letter seems to refer to a fixed term tenancy that no longer exists.

They are terrible. It took me 2 months to get my contract. When we gave notice to leave the house, the landlady did not want to go on with them and in spite of they were showing the house without having keys. They even came to the house without any confirmation that someone was there. It took me a month to get the deposit back when everything in the house was perfect. I believed the other review about trying to get money from the deposit. We knew that, so they could not find anything to charge us, but we cleaned like crazy for a weekend.

Rather than using the checkout/inventory/deposit as a way of fixing anything that may have become worn or damaged during the occupancy, Leaders seem to use it as simply another way to make money.

 ceased trading. Lavery had always given a fair service and certain staff (who I am glad to say have been retained by Leaders) were always very helpful, efficient and friendly. My main complaint with Lavery Lettings was that the rent was almost always late.
Since moving to Leaders (Allan and Bath in the Ferndown area) the level of service has been excellent. I had a problem with the tenant not being able to pay his rent. Leaders dealt with this matter in a very sensible manner. Their communication of events and updates on the situation was impeccable. I am happy that they pay the rent to me very soon after the tenant has paid it to them, this is a big improvement over the situation with my previous agent.
I have had occasion to deal with Mr Matthew Derry (Regional Manager of Leaders) and found him to be very easy to get on with and very professional in his efforts to resolve my problems.

Were it not for the fact that it is time to purchase, rather than rent, a property I would undoubtedly be renewing my contract at the end of the current term.  advice, to cover costs incurred by the landlord due to the relatively "grubby" state in which the property was allegedly left in. Following weeks of unsuccessful negotiations, I took the matter to the dispute service.
It turned out that the agent was NOT acting following their client's instructions: the landlord was made aware of the dispute ONLY when he was contacted by the dispute service - it was not true that he had instructed them to withhold about one third of my deposit which inevitably means that the agent was acting behind his back!. Indeed he called me to apologise for the situation and was adamant that I should get my deposit back and intervened personally to ensure this happened in a timely manner!
I am appalled and shocked by Leader's behaviour - but really I shouldn't have expected anything better from an agent that treats customers in such an arrogant and patronizing manner. We find that it takes them weeks to get back to us after we query something or to hear back about maintenance that is needed, and when we speak to them they tend to be quite rude on the telephone.
It's a huge shame because we really love the house and we really wouldn't even think of moving if it wasn't for the unco-operative agency.  They failed to identify arrears on the property which they should do within 6 days. We noticed that the amount being collected was less than the rent agreed and flagged this up....they had no idea what was going on. They made the error of mis-allocating the desposit to the rent acct so it looked like the tenant was in credit for over two months when in fact NO rent had come in, this was right at the start of the tenancy. They had still been charging us the full commission thou, even when NO rent has been coming in.

Above all their other sins, THEY OVERCHARGE FOR EVERYTHING. And not just overcharging either. They even try and charge you for "services" which are completely insane. For example, they tried to charge my partner and I 25 pounds each for speaking to our new agent on the phone and confirming that we pay our rent on time. Ludicrous.
My first experience with them was when I was living as a student and asked to be added to a contract on a house where my partner and friends were living. The landlady was very happy for this to all go ahead and of course we expected a fee for alteration of the contract and obtaining my references. however, we did not expect 800 pounds for this. Leaders' justification for this was that the referencing company would charge us 6 times the referencing amount because there were 6 of us living in the property. And yet they already had everyone else's references...so this was 800 pounds that they wanted me only to pay for my own reference. The contract alteration was extra. Oh and the Leaders admin charge. We of course refused and went direct to the landlady who told them off and signed a waver form. But I truly feel sorry for people in this situation who may not have such an understanding landlord.
On top of trying to swindle you, they are rude, slow and unfriendly. I would not only never recommend Leaders, but would warn anyone who isn't a celebrity with a celebrity's pay packet to NEVER use them. Leaders also masquerade as "Darwoods", who I expect behave in an identical fashion. BEWARE. There are much more honest agents out there who deserve your business and will work fairly for the amount they charge. We are now with Martin &Co. and couldn't be happier!!! . I complained to leaders, all they cld do was send someone to set up 2 mice trap which never caught an ant talkless of a mice. I spent at least £20 every month buying mice Glue traps! I have kept on complaining to them they do not bother!!!!!
Leaders keep sending letters of contractors to do work orders which are NEVER carried out for other repairs in the house! I have given my end of tenancy notice and this same apartment has been put up of the Market for Rent IN THE SAME CONDITION. I pity the next tenant to move in
Anytime you see a to let sign from Leaders RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN FROM IT. Leaders are not worth it, they are dodgy and would charge for everything! Leaders sent me a letter afterwards, to get reference from them i will pay £25, to move out of the apartment i will pay Move out fee of £47, I must use a Professional cleaner whos Name and address I must include on a form which was sent to me otherwise I will be Charged from my deposit! Now I m worried. . . .

 and now they are trying to charge us an unspecified amount to clean and to replace stuff that wasn’t there in the first place? We wrote letters telling them for example there was no washing line and no door on the front room but they say they didn't receive it! Now we have to fight to get our money back. We do however have a video recording of the house when we moved in so will fight to get every penny back.

Flash forward and opps... they also did not get the Tenants forwarding address and opps... they advised us we could start to repair the property as the Tenants had trashed it! prior to the Check Out being done. We are now in a dispute with the Tenants (e-mail only as heaven forbid Leaders could manage to get an address for them), and the Tenants are disputing everything for which we don't have full supporting documentation and photo's on the Check Out as this was not done as agrranged and agreed! So, the office manager blamed someone who is no longer with the business, then ignored our requests for a How to Complain Process. My branch don't seem to understand periodic tenancies; every other letter seems to refer to a fixed term tenancy that no longer exists.
