We sold our large family house and bought a lovely smaller house in Shepherds Bush through Kerr and Co. They were absolutely terrific - completing negating the general public's view of estate agents. The whole process was very difficult as we had a lot of problems at the time of the sale and purchase which delayed decisions and so on. It also meant we nearly missed the house we decided we wanted in the end. The service from start to finish was excellent.
As everyone knows - the buying and selling of properties can be a stressful experience and what is required is an agent who is professional and knows what they are doing in order to deal with situations as they arise.
Kerr and Co do this - and a lot more, they are ahead of the game and their knowledge of the process is exceptional - keeping all parties informed and they also deal with people in a fair and honest manner.
My thanks goes out to them.

In the last couple of years we have both been tenants in a Kerr and Co let property and have bought a flat through them. We have been very impressed with the service and professionalism of both parts of the business. When we were looking to rent, Sean Kerr was helpful and showed us a number of suitable and well-priced properties, he listened carefully to feedback and we quickly found an ideal rental flat with them. They handled our departure from the property very efficiently. Our experience as purchasers was also very positive with David Knipe providing excellent advice. Throughout the purchasing period the communication was excellent with David chasing up the vendors solicitors on occasion and also speaking directly with our conveyancing solicitor. We would not hesitate to recommend Kerr and Co to friends and will certainly use them again in the future.

We recently purchased a flat through Kerr and Co with Andrew Teague as our agent. The process was very protracted through no fault of Kerrs, and Andrew maintained his interest in the purchase throughout the time he had dealings with us. He was excellent at keeping in touch with both us and our conveyancing solicitor throughout the process ( I took phone calls from him whilst bicycling in Cornwall and walking in the Scottish highlands! )and he was always prompt to answer any queries we had and addressed any concerns we had to the vendor. He always made it possible for us to access the property when we needed to during the purchasing period. He did a very good job.

I met a few agents and decided to go joint agent route. Kerr and Co were fastest at Marketing and getting viewings, they also secured several offers at an early stage in the process and achieved a price we were happy with.
Throughout the whole process they offered good advise, and were very forthcoming in volunteering help, I have to say the whole experience was very good and I would not hesistate to use them again or recommend them to friends and family.

Kerr and Co were wonderful throughout the process of selling our house. To start with they quoted an accurate price, which we then got asking offer on, indicating that they have an excellent grasp of market conditions. They then organised a large number of viewings, keeping us up to date with all the responses (good and bad). Once the offer had been agreed, they were very methodical and organised in keeping both parties up to date with the process. We felt they were honest throughout, and totally trusted their opinions. We would not hesitate to use them again.

Agent (Andrew Teague) was always available and very helpful throughout the process, whether it involved chasing the owner for papers, getting updates from them, reminding us and giving us advice on how to proceed. Very positive experience.

I was previously a tenant in a Kerr and Co rented property and when Kerr and Co sold it we moved out and I bought a flat with them. When the completion didn't go through in time Kerr and Co not only helped me find another place to live, and kept in constant contact about the status of my purchase. I found them to be a very genuine firm, and really felt they went the extra mile to help in every aspect. I would definitely recommend using them.

From initial instruction, Kerr & Co were fantastic!
Chris Kerr initially took instructions and was so helpful and amenable; organising appointments at my convenience and continuously keeping me updated.
Subsequently, Andrew found a buyer who worked really well within my complicated chain and Andrew's continous sales progression updates were refreshing and helped ease the stress.
All in all I would definitely recommend Kerr & Co - they were efficient, helpful and delivered a cracking result - I cannot thank them enough!..Was this review helpful? Yes

Over the past 10 years or so (more so in the ealy days) I sold numerous properties though Robert Barr from Kerr & Co. Robert always provided informative and accurate advice on sales and often recomended alternative sales tecniques which in every case produced better results. Robert has also provided excellent advice on potential acquisitions.

I used this agent while searching for a 5 bed student flat/house let. Although they didn't have anything suitable at the time they rang us immediately when something came up within our budget and area.
They were very efficient at setting up a viewing and we were able to secure the property on the same day. The even kept the office open late so that we could pay our holding deposit.
These guys appreciate customer service unlike some of the large chain agents I have dealt with in the past.

Robert Barr of Kerr & Co was instrumental in helping us find exactly the sort of house we had been looking for in the Shepherds Bush/Hammersmith area on and off for two years. It was not an ordinary purchase - the property was not ready for occupation as a family home - but Robert was extremely helpful and patient as we sorted it all out and was a pleasure to deal with. Kerr and Co and Robert had already been recommended by several friends in the area and we can see why.

I have no hesitation in recommending Kerr and Co for either selling or letting.
They have been very supportive and extremely helpful when I was renting, and finally selling my property in Lime Grove.
This was of particular importance to me as I emigrated abroad during the process of selling, it was reassuring to have a skilled team dealing with my affairs.

I bought 2 houses through Kerr and rented a property through them aswell whilst waiting to purchase the second one. The sale person that I dealt with David was very knowledgable about the surrounding area (Shepherds Bush). I would definitely recommend using them as they were helpful and on the ball

Just brought a property through Kerr & Co. As a first time buyer, the whole process was new to me and I've got to say that dealing with an agency/agent I feel I could trust made a huge difference.
Andrew was helpful at all times. He was quick to get back to me whenever I left a message for him or enquired about something. The process of buying took longer than expected and he definitely helped moving things along by taking up my queries with the vendor or their solicitor. He also strucked the right balance when coming to take into account both the vendor's interests and mine.
I would not hesitate in going through Andrew again. Or kerr & Co for that matter.

I not only sold my property through them but also bought one and before selling had used them as my letting agents. In all my dealings with them they have been professional, displayed integrity and have always kelt me updated on developments. The purchase of my new flat and sale of my old one was managed by Andrew Teague who was always prompt in answering questions and giving feedback. He was honest in his assessments and I valued his advice. Similarly the lettings side of this sole office have been excellent. This single office company is the antithesis of the sterotypical image of estate agents. They are trustworthy and you feel they are working for the fairness of all. I would definitely recommend them.

I switched to Kerr and Co after a disappointing experience with another agent. The contrast could not have been more marked. Their assessment of the market in W12 was exactly right. Pricing of their fee was competitive. Photos were promptly executed and of good quality. Publicity was quickly prepared, well executed and wideranging. The sales effort was very proactive. Advice on optimizing the presentation of the house was simple, practical and achievable. Staff were assiduous in providing warning of visits and there was no inept mis-arranging. We received regular email updates (correctly spelt) of progress with potential buyers. All staff were unfailingly courteous, easy to deal with and attentive to detail - absolutely no game playing, messing about or 'dog ate my homework' excuses. Left messages were always responded to promptly. We quickly obtained an offer in line with expectations. Altogether an excellent professional performance by Robert Barr and the team. They really went to a lot of trouble to make it easy for us. Highly recommended.

I recently worked with Andrew at Kerr and Co to buy a house in Richford Street. I can honestly say that I have never met an agent as charming and as professional as him. Throughout the process, his attention to detail was staggering and he ensured there were no glitches at any stage.
But to cap it all off, he personally arranged for some amazing treats to be left in our new home. I won't ruin the surprise as I'm sure he will do the same for you, but let's just say there wasn't a dry eye in the house.

It is surprising to finally find an estate agent that actually does what they say they will, follow things up and provide a decent service. My flat had had little interest with other agents. Two weeks after a friend who had bought and sold with Kerr & Co recommended I instructed them, I had an offer. The sale went through smoothly and the team, particularly Andrew Teague, were very helpful.

The staff at Kerr and Co are professional, friendly and willing to go the extra mile to help in you both searching for and selling your property.
Unlike other agents I found I could trust them not to just try and sell my place for commission, but get the right price so that both parties were happy with the outcome. When buying through them, they were super helpful in making sure that all went smoothly during the negotiation process and further into exchange. Any bumps in the road were handled with care and consideration.
