   Possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with.

   I would not recommend that a single person use this agency, they are ignorant and incompetant. So much so that when moving to a new property anything let by John Hollingsworth was purposefully avoided.

   John Hollingsworth's Square Mile property management department look after some of my properties. This is the latest, a serious leak in my property, a quote follows, I ask for more quotes, no more have been provided. I get in touch with my tenants who have been chasing this problem, serious ongoing leak, I contact Square Mile by email, the tenants also contact Square Mile/ John Hollingsworth. My email is ignored. I phone the company, the person who deals with my property is in a meeting. She fails to ring me back. I deal with another agent. She says further quotes will be arranged. To date nothing has been done to fix the leak. Both I (landord) and tenant are totally blanked and ignored. Total ignoring of a paying customer. I have had to visit the property myself, see the damage, still trying to sort this out. Will keep this site updated.
   This agent has also been slack about getting gas safety certificates completed. I have had to do my own on more than one occasion.

   Beware of John Hollingsworth property management department. They also go by the name Square Mile. They have provided an appalling service, no gas safety certificates for a start. Also they were very slack about letting tenants into the property, inventories, tenancy agreements, collecting rent, repairing properly, you name it they get it wrong. They are totally incompetent. Never use them for your own and your tenants\' protection. I used them once and have lived to regret it and had to get rid of them fast.

   Choose broken furniture. Choose overpriced, undersized apartments. Choose misery. Choose Square Mile.

   Appalling in every respect.

   Glitzy, glossy, smiley, all until a sale is made. Don't expect them to answer your calls after you pay the first instalment of rent.

   Unable to handle serious problems without significant delay. Leaky bathroom remained unfixed for 6 weeks. Two months since vacating and still haven't seen a penny of deposit returned.

   Strongly consider your alternatives before signing up with them. Go private. Go somewhere else. Go *anywhere* else...

   I would like to give zero stars. From the outset we have been treated like sub-humans. They mucked up our contract which left us sitting in the office with all our bags ready to move in only for the agent to refuse handover of the keys. Finally sorted that out (several days later) only to move in with the place looking like a trash heap, light bulbs out and gaps in the windows - all of which were meant to be fixed prior to commencement of the tenancy. It took a further 4 months to fix the windows (well into winter). Our oven handle broke due to it being very old and brittle and the agent has still not got a plan for repair over a month later. We are also trying to move out as per our contract, after over a weeks notice ***** still has no information as to the process as he says that he is waiting for the landlord to get back to him. I find their excuses and lack of interest in their clients disgusting and I would warn any prospective landlords and tenants to never ever use them in any capacity.

   John Hollingsworth seemed ok during my tenancy as we had very few dealings with the property management department. However, it took over 3 months to get our deposit back at the end of the tenancy. They never return calls or emails unless legal action is threatened.Stay well clear of this company!!!

   These guys are useless. On the property management side, they seem to just ignore all our requests to have repairs done to the property. They never return calls (even after promising to). Last month they lost my rent payment (which had left my bank, but their accounts department couldn't find) - and then tried to blame it on me. Definitely not dealing with them ever again.

   Failure to renew tenancy agreement, failure to collect rent, not knowing what the correct rent is, asking me to call back in 2 weeks as they are very busy it goes on and on.

    What a great guy Tom is. He really knows how to look after a girl in a fix! He went way beyond what was needed and made me very happy indeed.
