We had several estate agents come to value our house but as soon as we met Ken we knew that he was the estate agent for us. He was very honset and professional right from the start and he gave what we thought was a realistic valuation. The professionlism continued with his colleagues and we were kept up to date and informed every step of the way. We also found them very understanding and supportive when things did not go to plan. James Alexander Estate Agents are, without a doubt, superb. They are very professional, helpful and even agony aunts when things seem to be going wrong. I cannot find fault with any of the staff and especially Caroline and Ken who have advised me all the way. The speed in which they dealt with all stages of my sale was incredible. They were very informative throughout, with regular updates.
In fact I have another property that i will be selling in the near future and that will definitely be going on sale with them I would not hesitate to recommend James Alexander.Was this review helpful? Yes

I just bought a house through James Alexander Estate Agents (Norbury), I must say they have been very helpful and dealt the matter professionally. I would highly recommend this estate agency. Having not moved for many years, it was with some trepidation that we searched for an estate agent to sell our home. With good fortune our first choice was James Alexander and after that we never looked back. Their excellent level of service was evident from the first home visit, to leave outline details and discuss broad house pricing, to when we had decided to go ahead and they returned to measure and photograph our property. The level of feedback during marketing was excellent coupled with a light advisory touch, which was never hassling and always helpful and reassuring. The sale was relatively quick and straightfoward with many interested parties coming to view.
A second aspect that was also impresseive was the help we received when buying our new property which included advice on mortgage brokers to reliable people to ask for house repairs. Overall, the service we experienced was outstanding and I would certainly use James Alexander again and strongly recommend them without reservation.Was this review helpful? Yes

We have just completed on our house and would like to thank the lovely team at James Alexander for helping us achieve our dream. The process was a long drawn out affair, however James Alexander proved to very professional and helped us through the difficult negotiations. I would especially like to single out Caroline for her help and guidance and wish you luck for the new year. I would not hesitate in using their services in the future as I know I am in good hands.

My property was sold in less than a week, so please with Ken Hume and his team, it was a good choice of estate agent as the staff were welcoming, warm and helpful and always communicated with me at all times to bring me updates on the viewing and feedback. I am very happy with the service and would recommend them to friends and family.

they let my house 3 bed for 2 years now and rent always comes on time. very helpful. send me emails with rent statement all the time. make my life easy unlike last agent I had. have recommended to friends already

Being an estate agent by trade myself, I would freely admit to being an extremely difficult customer; this was accentuated by our business being the sale of my recently deceased grandmother's house. From the initial valuation with Ken Hume, my family were all very impressed by his knowledge and integrity. Despite some considerable hic-cups during the conveyancing process, James Alexander managed the situation admirably and we were delighted to exchange contracts yesterday. I would definitely recommend using them!

Sold my property a few days ago with this agent, and would highly recommend.
Who says that selling is very stressful ,not with James Alexander !
If you are thinking of selling ,forget the rest as James Alexander is the best !
Will be using this agent again in due cousre to sell another property in SW16.
The larger high street agents dont offer the service and skill that is standard with this agent.
