Our negotiator, Jamie-Leigh Harvey in your Balham office was great.
Always in contact with us and answered any questions we had almost immediately and always helped whenever she could. Even when we needed somewhere to store some of our belongings whilst we were between homes

Jacksons need a mention in dispatches! They managed to rent out out our home with tenants who you could easily get to know as friends and they did so with smiles on their faces. So important guys! And they did so at a great rate too. We're not usually moved to endorse services but on this occasion we just had to. Jacksons are worth a call, guys, believe us.

I just had to put on record our thanks the staff at Jacksons so much for their help with the purchase of a property in Balham recently. We had a handful of positive viewings very soon after we explained to the agent what we were after. The home they found us is exactly what we were looking for. I must also mention that we found the staff courteous and were kept 'in the loop' at all times. In the past when we bought in Southampton, our former neck of the woods, we have found the process really fretful but this was as smooth as it could get. Thanks!

It just adds to every other problem we have had with the place since moving in.
Mislead on the property after being told during the viewing that a car park space and gym were included…They were not and the customer service we received from Jacksons (Katherine Marquart – Lettings Manager) when signing the contracts was the worst I have ever encountered. When trying to discuss the matter with Katherine about Nathalie who was the agent who showed us the flat her response was “well Nathalie doesn’t work here anymore so there is nothing I can do about it” I really wasn’t surprised... I recently conducted a search for properties in the Balham area. Most of the properties I viewed were with Jacksons as they specialise in the area.
I saw several very nice properties and all the sales staff I spoke to were helpful and polite. they also had good knowledge of the area and didn't seem to mind all my questions(!)
Unfortunately my circumstances changed and didn't get as far as putting any offers in, but I would recommend Jackons to any prospective house buyers.
Happy house hunting.....!

We've used Jackson's twice now for properties in the Balham/Tooting area and both times have been excellent. They are quick to return calls and send a repair person when they are managing a property and they are very thoughtful with their customer service. We found our most recent home with them because they understood our needs and "wish list" for a property they called us as soon as suitable flats came onto the market so we could see them as early as possible. The flat is so nice I hope we don't have to use them again soon but if we did it would be a pleasure.

We agreed to see a property with this agent and they booked us in for a viewing, they then added a couple more properties to this that we were not interested in seeing, but agreed to go as we really liked the first property.
30 minutes before the viewing we were called and advised that we could not see the original property that we wanted but only one that we were never interested in. We didn't even get an apology and the MANAGER (LIZ) referred to us as not even being her customers! Arguing and saying that she was the Sales Manager and what she decided was final. She was VERY unprofessional in her manner, very sharp and argumentative.
We will not be using Jacksons Estate agent in Wandsworth town again and I suggest that you avoid them as well.

in the six months that I have lived abroad, Jacksons have taken over two months in fees. Every month these fees seem to get greater. I email from Singapore, and get rude unhelpful dismisive answers.
I am having to consider returning to the UK just to get legal advice about howe I am being fleeced by this company. I have calculated that I would have financially been better of leaving my house empty.

I would just like to say that I found my experience using Jackson's Estate Agents a very pleasant one. The staff were extremely friendly and made the process stress free. I am extremely happy in my new abode and would never hesitate to use the branch again. I would strongly reccomend them...

Jamie-Leigh Harvey was the agent we dealt with and she was fantastic. She always had us in mind, kept us up to date with any properties that came in that were within our budget and really thought about our requests. Jamie offered us a very personal experience with Jacksons and we are extremely happy with the property that we found...

Jackson's are a brilliant estate agent, easily the most professional, polite and friendly agents I have used.
Not only did they rent my property and match me with great tenants, they also negotiated it for me at above my original asking price, making sure that I maximised the income I received.
My property is also managed with Jacksons and I have never had any problems, they have looked after the property fantastically and I wouldn't use anybody else.
5 Star without a doubt.

Brilliant Agent, really helpful and friendly. Found me and my boyfriend a lovely flat and moved in with no hassle whatsoever. Will be recommending them and using them again.

Absolutely terrible from an tenants point of view. After we gave our notice (two months) all they could think about is their next sale. The took people round to the flat without any warning and when I complained about this their reply was "well we left you a message".
On top of this on page 9 of their contract they have hidden that we are responsible for the check out inventory. They said I had to pay £80 cash on the day of check out. When I found a cheaper independent agency to do the check out the manager called and shouted at me. When I asked him where in the agreement it said that I had to go with their agent agent, he said that "it was not open to discussion". If I am paying for it then it is open for discussion!

We found Jacksons to fairly price properties unlike many other agents. The fees were around the same as all the other more reasonable agents and the entire process was very transparent and straightforward. We were very happy with them and have so far gone through the rental process quicker and easier than any other agent.

Jacksons are the best agent I have ever used. Mostly down to the branch manager Natasha. Right from the start she was honest, informed professional and hardworking. I would highly recommend her and this company. I never thought I would ever praise an estate agent but she has completely changed my opinion.

Required a 2 bed in Earlsfield for mid November, started looking beginning of September, met one of the lettings agent many times, clearly specified furnished as I have a flat back in Bournemouth which has all my furniture in that I myself are letting out. Saw many properties, all of which I was advised were furnished. First to see a gorgeous property on Swaby Road. Advised by agent that it was fully furnished, 'what you see is what you get' I was told, partner even lay on the bed in front of the agent to check comfortable. Awful estate agent.
Didn't pass on several month's rent to landlord, then said that they had also "lost" the deposit. Landlord sacked the agent. Despite this, 6 months later Jackons then sent us a letter saying that the rent was going to go up.
No matter how fantastic the property, I would never use them again.

Apporach was very unprofessional:
- changed the property that I agreed to rent (new build)
- changed the price (& terms) that I agreed to pay
- landed me with a 30 page contract (full of errors) to read and agree, 1 hour before agent was due to close for the day

 when signing the contracts was the worst I have ever encountered. When trying to discuss the matter with Katherine about Nathalie who was the agent who showed us the flat her response was “well Nathalie doesn’t work here anymore so there is nothing I can do about it” I really wasn’t surprised that she had obviously been sacked for not being at all competent within her job but don’t really see that as an excuse to just dismiss the issue.
In regards to the damp / leak – When we viewed the property the carpet in Nicks room was black as you walked in due to the water obviously rising up and causing it to become discolored. Nathalie assured us that the carpets in both rooms would be replaced – which they were… Perhaps naively we assumed that by replacing the carpets the leak had also been fixed otherwise surely the same thing would just happen again in the near future if not worse…Sure enough it has and I’m quite astonished to find out then when replacing the carpets it didn’t seem to come into anyone’s head that maybe they should check to see if the leak is actually fixed before laying down new carpet!
Towel Rail in Master Bathroom has never worked despite numerous emails asking for it to be fixed – Even now they know that the element just needs to be replaced yet somehow this problem seems to be so large that it has taken over 2 months to have anything done about and is still not fixed
Nicks fob to enter the building has never worked either – again nothing done about it.
From looking further into the matter of Jacksons customer service history I know we are not the first tenants to have had such problems and I’m sure we won’t be the last. One week before moving in and we have just been advised that the flat is in fact unfurnished! Agent denies he ever told us it was furnished, yet we clearly specified we would not want to look at any unfurnished flats right at the beginning and throughout the search this was mentioned. Manager has offered to waiver the 300 admin fees - which they should as they were clearly never done correctly! And give us 200 to help buy furniture. 500 is expected to get us 2 beds, sofa, coffee table, lamps, wardrobe, dinning table, kitchen ware, hoover, iron, ironing table.... the list goes on and adds up! Definitely more than 500 pounds.
I feel completely let down by this company.
