After almost a year of dealing with estate agents on a daily basis, I can say with some certainty that Robert and Jackson Stops are the best, if not the only decent estate agent in this area. Robert could not do enough to help - and it was a difficult and complicated process that did require a lot of help from him. He and his colleagues were calm, intelligent, honest (I know!) and sympathetic. I only found out after I bought the house that Robert had been working at a different branch for several weeks by that point, but was still dealing with all the palava of our purchase without once complaining or even letting us know how much extra work he was taking on. I made a point of asking Jackson Stops for a feedback form so that I could pass this on. Not that I ever intend to move house again, but if I do I'll ask these guys to sell the place.

The agent was excellent. Responsive, personable, and very helpful in overcoming any difficulties. Also showed a great deal of patience in a long drawn out process.

If you appreciate getting immediate responses to your emails & having your property problems fixed next day then use Jackson-Stop. These are the most professional bunch of people I have dealt with, in this or any other industry. Can't recommend them highly enough.

The team worked hard; they kept me informed about viewings and the sale process at all stages and their feedback was helpful. They have a sound knowledge of the area and are realistic about achievable prices.

We registered with several agents. Jackson-Stops & Staff were the only agents who took careful note of our specific needs regarding location and type of prperty and acted on them. Anissa Cantell (sales negotiator) went out of her way to find suitable properties for us to view, culminating in our purchase. The service from all staff was excellent and we would highly recommend this branch.

having recently just sold through the Richmond office I thought I would take the time to express my appreciation for the excellent result they got for my wife and I. We had been for sale with another agent locally, namely Featehrstone Leigh, and had the worst experience possible. They promised the earth, (the manager Brendan) and delivered absolutely nothing. They were absoutely incompetent from start to finish, never return calls or emails and I never heard from them for the first 4 weeks of marketing. I am sidetracked! I sent an email to the Burford office, expressing strong interest in one of their properties and asking for a call to view. I received no call and no acknowledgement of my email. This was despite my being a cash buyer with no property to sell.
I wasn't too surprised. Several months ago, I had registered with their Cirencester branch and have heard nothing since. If I were a seller, I would never engage them.

Very very bad, the rental staff do not care. They are unorganised and seem to play dumb a lot. This may just be the current rentals manager in the Richmond branch. He acted more like a surly teenager. However the other staff seemed more helpful and attentive.

Whilst I had a reasonably good experience with the lettings team in Wimbledon (as a Landlord), when I came to try to sell the house the experience was abysmal. They seem to have a poor knowledge of the local area, undervalued the property, have unreasonably long sole agency terms, took a month to answer email in one case, and managed to upset my tenants to the point of me having to intervene to calm things down. Having made all of these errors, and been asked to release me from the terms of the sole agency agreement they refused. No benefit to them, just sheer bloody mindedness. Its a real shame because we've got stuff to sell in Gloucestershire and just will never use them again - even if it's just the Wimbledon sales team.

Staff take a really long time to organise contract, contract still not signed after offer was made 3 weeks ago. Charge tenants for tenancy renewals (and include in the contract that it must be paid and advise this is non negotiable when questioned).

They are lethargic, they dont follow up when people have viewed you property and the reason they get a lot of instructions in the Winchester area is because the main man comes to your house, over prices it by a mile and smarms off.

We were emailed after every viewing with feedback and that was followed up with a phone call. I am sure that not only as a seller they must make all buyers feel quite special also. They found us a buyer within 4 days having been on the market for 14 weeks with our previous agent. I truly can recommend their services and I think they really do go the extra mile to ensure no stone is left uncovered. All of the promises made they delivered on. I would certianly use them again but we hope not for many years to come as we hav esettled very nicely in our home on Richmond Hill, again bought through the same office.
