It has taken me many months to find the house I finally bought and through it all Omar Al Khashab kept in touch, letting me know what had come on the market or just touching base. It is as a result of his patience and persistence that I eventually bought through Horts. I thoroughly recommend him, he has been brilliant throughout - I would certainly want him to be selling my property - he is the only one out of about 8 agents who hung in there - thanks Omar. All staff were helpful and friendly and followed the purchase right through to the end, often helping out with bits of information or advice.

From the valuation through to completion the service from Omar was consistently excellent. He was very personable and very approachable about advice on both selling our property and how to research ones we were interested in, even though it may not have been through Horts. Within the first 2 weeks we had viewings almost every day and accepted an offer within that time. Omar's colleagues who carried out viewings were also very thorough and ensured they came early to the property to find out the layout to ensure they were knowledgeable when showing people around. I was consistently impressed with everyone at Horts, particularly Omar. He helped us feel confident in the process that was new to us and we were very pleased to receive a welcome to new home card from him when we finally completed. I would highly recommend Horts as the self employed set up only gave us confidence in Omar's enthusiasm to sell our property for the best price.

Stuart Little came strongly recommended to me by a friend in Brixworth who has repeatedly instucted him to sell their properties, as he has an excellent reputation of selling properties that others cannot, of getting a good price and getting the job done quickly and properly without any hassle.
Personally I found Stuart exceptional, from the very first day he visited us and throughout the whole moving process. He seemed to be permanently available, he was friendly, communicative, fantastically efficient, always punctual, gave excellent (if diplomatic) advice and guidance, and just nothing seemed too much trouble.
I can definitely recommend Stuart Little to anyone thinking of moving house as myself and my family are very grateful to him for making a stressful process much, much easier.

Really pleased with this transaction - the most painless house purchase to date.
David was very attentive and listened to our requirements before suggesting suitable houses - much better than a wild goose chase around Warwickshire!
All the properties on David's short-list were suitable and one, we ended up buying - v happy.
Donna looked after things once the price was agreed upon and this really did go without a hitch. Donna chased people up when required and ensured that the process kept moving. Very efficient and friendly to deal with.

We have met many estate agents over the last year and Omar is by far the best. We were quite particular about the type of house we were looking for and Omar was very patient with us. As we were first time buyers, we had a lot of questions that needed answering, and Omar was always a phone call or text away. I was always able to get hold of him. I would a 110% recommend this guy. He even helped us to fix our boiler after sale completion.

I initially contacted 13 agents in the area and then had 7 come and review the property. Jonathan impressed from the start, he knew the market place, especially the profile of the likely buyers and talked on a no nonsense and common sense level. He gave good solid tips on how to best present the place to buyers. His valuation was realistic and well judged. Only one of the other contenders came close. I have used Horts before and found all the staff extreemly helpful
In this case I asked I asked Omar to find me a property, and he found exactly what I was looking for. Better in fact.
At every viewing he was always on time and was very helpful all the way through.
He is a very personable gentleman and nothing was too much trouble. Even when we kept wanting to back to have another look he was always ready to be there to let us in.I have no hesitation in Recommending Omar at all. I was extreemly happy with the way the whole buisiness was transacted.

We approached Dorian with our list of fairly specific requirements (biggest possible with least possible funds). He was able to find a selection of houses for us to consider and upon choosing our preferred shortlist, we viewed the property which accurately matched the description in the Horts' brochure. We then managed to buy this property within 12 working days, thanks to the Horts' team's knowledge of how the selling / buying process works. For us, this was the most important aspect of buying our property and our expectations were exceeded. Dorian and his team offered clear and concise advice and guidance at all stages of the buying process and this, with their high levels of integrity, is what sets Horts Estate Agents apart in our opinion. They really made us feel like they were doing everything they could to help us buy this property. I would therefore recommend this agency for buying and selling property.

I was extremely satisfied with the staff I dealt with at Horts. Steve Curtis was very proactive in promoting interest in the property. At one stage the sale fell through and within days Steve had three viewings arranged which subsequently resulted in a sale. Steve always kept me fully informed of progress particularly at the negotiating stage and achieved the full asking price.
Claire gave brilliant support leading up to the sale of Willow View. She kept me fully informed and provided a vital link at the conveyancing stage. I would say she excelled in her commitment to me as a client.
Thanks to everyone. This is the second time we have used Horts and woud have no hesitation in using them in the future.

horts estate agents were a .very professional,efficient and caring company to deal with. Everything i asked of them was carried out quickly and professionally.Nothing was too much trouble The sale of my house took a bit longer than anticipated (NOT THROUGH THEIR FAULT) but they dealt with it and me very efficiently and patiently!!!

I was very pleased with the service we received from Carl at Horts. We had previously used a few different estate agents to sell our home but became very dispondant with the service we were receiving. Carl was very honest from the beginning and sold our property within 12 weeks. The viewings were always accompanied and there was always a professional approach to the people they were showing around our property. Once a sale was agreed we dealt with Donna and she too was very professional and honest. I have found that the most important thing when selling a house is honesty from the agent and we definitely got this from Carl and Donna at Horts, unlike some of the other agents !

My whole experience with Horts was excellent. The initial valuation was professional, realistic and reassuring. The details prepared by Horts for the sale were accurate and nicely produced. Horts staff generated many leads and helped greatly in the negotiations. All viewings resulted in timely feedback and were handled very well. Once a price had been agreed the Horts team were proactive in resolving some minor problems and kept the sale on track. Additionally I know that Horts staff supported multiple visits to the house after sale had been agreed in order to help my buyer. Finally Horts were easy for my conveyancer to deal with and responded to enquiries speedily. I would have no hesitation in recommending Horts, specifically Ben Street, David Smilie (agents) and Donna (sales progressor).

Found Horts and inparticular Duncan very helpful and supportive throughout the process. Very easy to contact all the time, always returning my calls imediately and even answering my questions out of office hours. Compared to other experinces I have had with other agents I felt Duncan did his upmost to market and sell the property. I found the whole process of selling a property long, stresssful and frustrating but feel that Duncan did his most to move things along and support me, and guess having never sold a house before I didn't realise how ardous a process it is. If I was to buy/ sell in the same area again I would definetly use Duncan and HORTs again.

We bought our new house through Horts. Ray Jacobs was our esate agent and he was excellent. From our first viewing to our last. After viewing the first house through Ray I knew that I wanted to buy a house from him. He spent time explaining the village to us going through all the pros and cons of the area. This helped immensley on deciding where we wanted to move to from Somerset. He was always available to take my calls and never once put to much pressure on us to buy. He also kept us up to date on all new propertys as soon as they came on the market. Once we had the offer accepted Adam the sales progresser was excellent and if it hadnt have been for him would not been able to move so quickly. He contacted me every other day to explained what hd moved forward and what needed to be done. If I come to sell again I will certainly use Horts and would recommend anyone in Mawsley to use Ray.

from numerous past experiences we have never had a lot of confidence in estate agents,therefore it was with some trepidation that we entered into the house buying nightmare again.but then along came super steve dodds!from the minute we met him we knew everything would be ok,the man moved mountains for us right from the start,we were informed either by him or his office every step of the way,and whenver we had any little niggles we felt comforted by the fact that we could contact steve and all would be dealt with efficiently.top class estate agent and an asset to the company!

We have just moved into a superb bungalow found for us by Damien Flavell of Horts. Damien was patient, helpful and understanding of a very picky client (me). I was extreamly pleased with Horts.
Horts were only the 2nd agents I had quote from, and decided to go with them as they answered questions honestly and seemed "up front" (the 1st (Newmans) said commission was x% and when I said "ouch", immediatly dropped it by 0.5%...how could I trust them).The only "grip" was I sold too quick (within a week).......could I have got more? Who knows. Cant complain, but Horts certainly got there money easy with me.

I sold my house through Horts in Rugby. I had 3 other agents out to value my house, but Horts were by far the most professional, hence my decision to use them. Ben Street came to value my property and gave a very honest and frank valuation and advice on how to market it to show its full potential. We sold it in under 4 weeks. Throughout the process Horts gave regular updates and feedback from potential buyers. After securing a buyer, Donna Paul, who provides the after sales service for Horts, looked after us extremely well and went over and above to fix an exchange and completion date. I would have no hesitation in recommending Horts to anyone considering selling their property.

This was the first time I have sold a house, I first tried another Estate Agent from Kingsthorpe and had nothing but grief, at their reccomondation the price went up and down like a yo yo, I had agents with prospective buyers banging on the door completely unannounced.This went on for maybe 9 months,I was told a buyer had been found but it was for less than I asked for. finally I gave up and pulled it off the market. I waited 6 months and put it back on the market, this time using Horts and with their agent Jon Summerly.......what a difference ! Truely proffesional, he made it seem as easy as buying an ice cream, house was sold in a couple of weeks and I was amazed how quickly and simple Jon made it go. It's a big thing selling your home and moving, Horts certainly took a lot of the stress out of it. Thankyou.

We viewed a few properties with Victoria at Horts and have recommended her to friends and family ever since. She was understanding of our circumstances and did everything she could to find a suitable property for us, including multiple viewings of the same property which we didnt even end up buying! She and her colleagues were always professional and returned calls promptly, which some other agents didn't. Sophie Gardiner our agent was excellent. She was professional, kept us informed of what was happening at all times and where issues arose, and there were a few, she accepted responsibility to ensure they were resolved quickly and without fuss.

Having previously worked as an estate agent and property valuer understandably my expectation was set fairly high. However Horts Sales certainly exceeded that expectation. David Smylie handled our sale from viewing to offer accepted and Donna Paul chased our sale from offer to completion.
David was polite, helpful and not pushy in any way (a miracle when it comes to estate agents). He was happy to ask any questions to the vendor and seemed to have a good rapour with them.

I have recently completed a purchase through Horts Estate Agents in Rugby. This was mainly dealt with by Ben Street. Always quick to respond to queries and nothing was too much trouble! Had numerous viewings of the property whilst waiting to exchange/complete to check various measurements, etc. and Ben was always able to meet us there and fit in with times suitable to us, even if at short notice. The day before I was due to exchange had a slight dispute with the vendor over clearing out the garage - David and Ben from Horts promised to personally clear it out for me in order to not delay exchange and completion, and had done this before I got the keys. Compared to service / treatment myself and my family have had from other Rugby based estate agents, Horts were miles better. Would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Extremely disappointing experience. House not cleaned prior to moving in despite being told it would be by the agent, and it being stated in the contract. Complaint met with a thoroughly half hearted response. Will be looking to purchase a property next year and given our terrible experience with Horts as letting agents, they will not be getting our business in sales.

I recently used Horts or more specifically, Michael Haig of Horts. I was a first time buyer and was naturally new to the whole process of purchasing a property. Having visited numerous estate agents and looked at many properties I was extremely pleased that Horts were the ones that found me my dream house. Michael took my girlfriend and I around numerous properties in one afternoon - at the end of the day he took me to see a house that was brand new to them and only on the market that day. The house was perfect and Michael and the after care team held our hand though the process and made it as pain free as possible. There are estate agents and then there is Ben and Donna at Horts......
Their support as we looked to purchase a buy-to-let property was second to none. Consummate professionals, they worked with us to identify, view and eventually purchase the property we required. Both Ben and Donna were always ready to assist, always responsive.
Particular praise must be made of Ben and Donna's deaf awareness - we are both profoundly deaf. Happy to use text and email, Ben and Donna guided the process to completion with patience.

I recently sold a property through Horts estate agents in Northampton and although they sold my property within 5 weeks of it being on the market I was informed that the sale of my property would be supervised by Clare the inhouse sales progressor based within the Northampton office. I have now completed on the sale of my property and have never once spoken to Clare and this is not for my lack of trying by leaving numerous telephone messages for her to contact me. I was told that Clare works minimal hours and that it would be "hit or miss" to speak with her. I feel the sales team were extremely good yet the after sales department lacked any after sales progressor - Horts were a complete let down on this side.

I found Sophie and David to be very helpful and professional at all times. Donna was fantastic and went out of her way to help and chase things up during a difficult purchase. The only downside was the vendors solicitor who Horts had recommended. Would not recommend anyone using the solicitors they recommended as they were rubbish and caused lots of problems during the transaction. However would definitely use Horts again, they were great.

All staff are extremely professional, helpful and have exceptional customer service. Ditto Ailson's comments, complete inability to communicate important details leading to ill feeling and delays. If there hadn't been a national housebuilder involved in the transaction (i.e. a customer they didn't want to annoy) I have no faith that these problems would have been resolved. Avoid if you have any sense!

Unfortunately the inability to communicate effectively with both us (the purchaser) and the vendors initially resulted in the breakdown of the chain and forced us to have to withdraw from the purchase. It was only through the intervention of Fine & Country estate agents, acting as intermediary between us and the vendor, was the chain resurrected and sale achieved.
Under no circumstances would I feel in a position to recommend this estate agent and would certainly not use them to either sell or let our property through.Was this review helpful? Yes

Friendly and professional team. Got a first viewing 3 hrours after signing the agreement with them. Sold within the week at a little under the asking price

i would 100 per cent recommend them to anyone who was selling or buying a property,I bought and sold with them and they never once let me down or made me think i was not getting a good enough service.

, honest views on the pricing of my property, even a call to inform me that they had taken on another property in the same street so I didn’t find out as a surprise that I had competition! Once the property was sold I received without fail a weekly call back from Donna who truly deserves a medal for being so good at her job, it was lovely not to have to chase calling to find out about the progress of my sale – she was in constant touch with all solicitors and made the final part of the process very stress free.

Horts were only the 2nd agents I had quote from, and decided to go with them as they answered questions honestly and seemed "up front" (the 1st (Newmans) said commission was x% and when I said "ouch", immediatly dropped it by 0.5%...how could I trust them).
The only "grip" was I sold too quick (within a week).......could I have got more? Who knows. Cant complain, but Horts certainly got there money easy with me.
After sales was excellent with Donna Paul, even offering to speed things up by picking up document from council House for me. I was "new" to buying and selling a house, and she helped with even the most stupid questions i had.
Horts (and others) may not be the cheapest, but you certainly get what you pay for. I learnt that more from other estate agents when I was buying (some do it for 1%). I am still waiting for them to get back to me for one viewing I was keen on, and got fed up trying to contact a seller myself for another viewing.

. He was happy to ask any questions to the vendor and seemed to have a good rapour with them.
Donna was absolutely fantastic. Our chain was quite long and due to those further up in our chain the delays dragged on and it seemed we were never going to move. However Donna was proactively able to provide us with clear and accurate information about what was going on (wether it was good or not) and helped push everything through so we could meet a date before we had to move out of our rental house. She even managed to get us some money from up the chain towards our rent payments so we could move early to meet a date suggested. She is a credit not just to Horts but to the reputation of all estate agents.
