   We marketed our property via Horts as a last minute decision, based on a property that had caught our eye one stormy November day. Victoria breezed in and out and had the valuation and pictures taken in no time at all and the house was duly placed on the market all in the space of 24 hours complete with 'For Sale' sign and website listings! Several people came to see the house fairly quickly, all of whom were accompanied by Victoria. The house duly attracted an offer that was well handled by Horts. We duly accepted the offer, and the house was sold in good time given some last minute and rather delicate issues, again all very well handled by Victoria and Donna and we were glad that we were dealing with good sensible and experienced agents who kept things moving along without excess fuss and drama.

   I dealt mainly with Andy although I spoke and met with other members of staff who were very helpful and any messages left were always passed on. Andy was very polite, professional and helpful. From when I first put my offer in to when I moved into the house I was in contact with him and he answered any queries I had very quickly. I would definitely use Horts again and recommend them.

   I recently purchased a property through Horts Northampton, that i am intending to rent. Their agent Stuart Little, helped me through the process, and i found him very accommodating and knowledgable. He was also very communicative, and punctual on appointments, not often the case from my experience of estate agents. I am actively using him again to increase my portfolio of properties.

   We have just sold our property and the service we have received was excellent, from the first visit to value the property to our exchange of contracts. The sale has been a very complicated one, trying to tie up the sale of our house and also our daughter's property for us to buy one house. We have encountered many problems along the way, none of which could have been foreseen and when our first sale fell through at the last minute every member of the Horts team pulled out all the stops to obtain another buyer within a very short time scale.

   I must admit I'm dubious about some of the other reviews that have been left for this estate agents.

   We tried to buy a property through them, and after committing time and money for searches, solicitors, and a survey, we then found out that a strict deadline had passed and the seller had withdrawn.

   After making our complaint, Horts responded that we had taken too long over the sale and that it was our fault. Apparently 8 weeks is 'ample' time to complete a sale. Geoff, as you are aware, I have corresponded with your parents over this matter and we have failed to agree on the circumstances. As you can see from this review site, we do an excellent job in the vast majority of cases. That does not mean however that I am not saddened EVERY time a sale falls through and people loose money. I hope your parents are more successful in their next purchase.

   My experience with Hort's has been superb from initial engagement till the completion went through today. Omar Al-Khashab enabled me to regain my respect of Estate Agents as I had had my property on the market for a number of months prior to his engagement and I had a particularly unsavory experience. Omar managed my expectations as a seller and smoothly arranged viewings until a seller was found.     On Tuesday we were disconcerted to learn that the vendor of the property we were in the process of buying had decided to withdraw from the sale. We believe that the Estate Agents at Horts have acted in a totally dishonest and disreputable manner. If we had been told at the very beginning that the vendor would only sell if the whole transaction went through on April 10th we would not have embarked on the process at all as we would have considered the timeframe too difficult.     Came accross Horts by browsing a few houses in our village Mawsley when we found a house which was of interest to us, sold our house and bought our new one through Horts and our agent Ray Jacobs was brillaint from start to finish, very helpful, easy to contact and proffesional throughout. Ray is also local to the Mawsley area which gave him great knowledge of the surrounsing area. We would 100% reccomend Ray in the future and if we decide to ever move again we will be going straight to him. Also when we getting close to the exchange and completion of the properties we were kept regualarly updated by Sophia in the office, making a stressful time run very smoothly. Great Service.

    THE WHOLE TEAM AT HORTS WERE REALLY SUPPORTIVE DURING THE PURCHASE OF OUR NEW HOUSE EVEN THOUGH OUR CIRCUMSTANCES WERE A LITTLE DIFFERENT AND SOMETIMES FRUSTRATING!     Jon was very proactive in spotting a buyer for us and very professional at all times.
    We had previously tried to sell another property with another agent and had found the service pretty hopeless.
    This experience was completely different. I particularly liked the fact that we were able to contact Jon in person whenever we needed to and always got a quick response (rather than leaving a message with someone in an office). He took care with the photographs of the house and gave good advice. Everything went very smoothly and I wouldn't hesitate to use Horts again.

    The Horts team did a fantastic job of selling our property.
    I had previously brought a property through them and having a great experience decided to use them again.
    From the outset they were professional and efficient, they listened to what I wanted and then delivered exactly that. The brochure for the house was great and the pictures really helped sell the property. I had multiple viewings as soon as the property was marketed and accepted an offer very close to the asking price with 4 days of the property being listed.

    We had an extremely smooth and professional experience with Horts representing the sale of our property and the house we were buying.

    First deciding to move, to actual move date was 5 weeks, and through this extremely frantic period of activity we felt well informed, and well supported by various Horts staff.

    Victoria was our agent and nothing seemed too much trouble and no time to call seemed inconvenient. Their recommendations for solicitors, surveyors etc all proved efficient and competitively priced.

    All in all I can't see how any estate agent could have done things better.

    Omar presented himself both professionally and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Throughout all he reassured me and kept me up to date at all times. I never once doubted his integrity. Not having bought or sold a property for over 15 years I was quite nervous and anxious but Omar was always there at the end of a phone line. I have absolute faith in his ability and should the occasion arise in future I would not hesitate to return to Horts.
    I would like to commend Sophia Rahman who many times seemed to know more than my solicitors and certainly explained things to me and kept me up to date.

    We hadn't bought a property in over 20 years and were a little anxious as we were buying a first home for our son. However from our first approach to Horts we can honestly say that both Duncan and Adam were brilliant. Duncan was our main contact and he listened to our requirements and immediately new what we were looking for. He only sent us relevant details.We were helped from start to finish, willingly talking us through every step of the procedure and we were amazed how smooth the purchase was. We have recommended them to others and we will definitely be using them again when it's time for our daughter to buy.

    Very pleasant company to deal with, never made to feel like I was pestering them. Had a couple of minor problems which were quicky sorted out. Had major problems with out solicitor and Horts could not of been more helpful. Went above & beyond the call of duty to try & help sort things out. Nice to be offered a coffee while waiting for keys. Would always choose Horts first. Well done.

    I was very impressed with the efficient service provided by Horts particularly Steve Curtis in finding a buyer and Sophia Rahman involved in the conveyancing side and acting as a contact between myself, the buyers and the solicitors. I found the role that Sophia carries out really helped the selling process proceed as she picked up issues that could delay the process and dealt with them quickly. I would highly recommend Horts Estate Agents.
