My first experience with Homezone was back in 2008, when I bought a property in Bromley, Then in 2010 I become a Landlord and used the letting service, In 2012, I used them again to sell the property in Bromley, at all times I have found Neil, Matthew and the rest of the Homezone team to be genuinely interested in helping me and advising me on the best way to buy, sell and rent.
They have on numerous occassions gone the extra mile !. They are by far the best estate agents I have ever used and if you are looking to buy, sell or rent in Bromley then look no further, these guys will do their best for you and will always be there to help you.

We originally used Homezone in 2008 to try to sell our property. Neil and the staff made every effort but the market was in a dive mode and we eventually removed the property from the market. When we finally decided to put the property back on the market we went straight to Homezone and had viewers in no time at all. The sale was difficult and prolonged due to no fault of Homezone but Denise was there for us at all times and as I was in Cyprus during the whole of the time she was invaluable. I would recommend Homezone to anyone without hesitation. Not only are the efficient but they are NICE.

We put our property on sale with Neil after chatting to a few agents. We were going abroad and Neil managed everything for us, from photos to preparing all the brouchures and other required reports.
He then emailed us a PDF to approve and our flat was on the market. They had a good number of enquiries and viewings. Within about six weeks we had an offer.
From there Denise took over and did a wonderful job of managing all the people and keeping on top of things. The process does take a while in the UK, but we felt we knew what was happening at all times and they were only an email or phone call away.
We'd also recommend Fortress Law in Shortlands. They were very friendly, proactive and responsive.

We were originally in the process of selling our property, however, our prospective buyer pulled out on the point of agreeing exchange. Homezone were very supportive during this difficult time, providing detailed and objective options for us. By letting out our property we were able to continue with our move and appreciate all the help they provided for our first venture into the rental market! Most of all we appreciate how genuine they were in their assistance to enable us to make the right choice for our situation.

I felt compelled to write a review for Homezone due to having had a recent disappointing experience with a well known chain of estate agents. It was good to support a local independent agent when we used Homezone and we weren’t disappointed. Neil and his team have a refreshing approach to estate agency and with their genuine nature and exemplary customer care there is the sense that they really believe in their job, want to help and are personable yet professional.

Home zone gave me exelent professional service from them coming out to take instruction finding the tenant and moving them in I had very bad service from previous agents in the area not referencing tenants propley and only getting there fee this was not the case with Jane @ home zone every thing was taken care of very professionally and I have very good tenants .

I have been using Homezone since 2007. I have recently moved my second property to them. They really are excellent. They keep the rent level up to the market value, work hard to find appropriate tenants, make regular inspections (keeping me informed), and ensure that the tenants are looking after the property. Where standards of maintenance have dropped, Homezone have kept on top of the situation by insisting that gardeners and professional cleaners are brought in.
I would recommend Homezone to anyone, and really value their advice and opinion.

Homezone was recommended to me by a work collaegue who had been using their services as a landlord for several years and I have been very impressed with the service I have received so far. They were able to find a suitable tennant very quickly and and all of the arrangements were made with no fuss or problems. A detailed inspection was carried out before the tennants moved in and I receive detailed inspection reports every 3 months.
All of the staff are very friendly and professional and they give me every confidence that my property will continue to be well looked after whilst I am out of the UK. I highly recommend Homezone to anyone letting a property in the Bromely / Beckenham area.Was this review helpful? Yes

This is the second time I've dealt with homezone (once when trying to buy and now when looking for a valuation/potentially selling) and I cannot recommend them highly enough. Helpful, friendly, responsive - even when i was quite clear we may not be looking to sell for a while, it was great to get such helpful, impartial advice. I I'll certainly be back in touch when we do put our house on the market

I went to HomeZone to find a tenant for my vacant property because I knew Jane had moved there having previously worked on my behalf on a couple of occasions at another agency.
The HomeZone service was efficient, transparent and pretty speedy given the state of the market at the time.
Jane's experience and knowledge is apparent in her approach to me as the landlord and to potential tenants, instilling a sense of confidence in the whole process. All the various checks were done with efficiency, the valuation was honest, and communication was prompt and friendly. Back up admin from HomeZone was efficient, honest and transparent.

I would like to thoroughly recomend the services provided by Homezone whom sold my property very quickly providing prompt and helpful advice wll the way through the process. Communications were dealt with professionally, either verbally or by way of emails. I would like to thank "Homezone" for the excellent customer service they provided.
There are some details which can make the whole process a hell, but Homezone team made it smooth and painless.

HZ came across as very effecient , friendly and helpful and endeavoured to move sale along in an even handed way which certainly eased the stresses and strains of the process

Homezone helped us sell our old property and also find our new dream home. They were excellent during both processes. Our old property was sold within days which shows that Homezone understands exactly which buyers will be interested in your property - no time wasted. And again, they were excellent showing us only properties which we would consider when it came to us buying a property.
We would recommend anyone to use Homezone for selling/buying their property, their staff are very friendly and helpful and they get the job done efficiently.

These guys know their market. I viewed many properties with many agents over a 6 month period and I found Homezone to be friendly, knowledgeable and straight talking. I realised very early on that I could trust what they were telling me, which was not a feeling I had with certain larger agencies. When I finally secured a property through them, Matthew made the process as straightforward as he could, despite the lack of clear communication from my selling agent. He answered calls, returned messages, sought answers and found solutions. I can unhesitatingly recommend this agency, and only wish some other agencies would take a leaf from their book.
And, also unlike other agencies, their service doesn’t end when the sale completes; ask them anything – need a landscaper/decorator/incredibly tall plasterer? Just ask, they’re bound to know.Was this review helpful? Yes

I used homezone to sell my flat and found the customer service to be professional and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone wishing to sell, rent or buy. My flat was slightly out of the immediate area but i found they had great knowledge of not only shortlands but the whole of Bromley and the surrounding areas, which meant a correct valuation (against more local but less friendly / approachable agents) and knowledgeable dealing with buyers.

After living in Shortlands Road for 18 years we decided to move on for personal reasons. When it came to deciding on a local Estate Agent to handle the sale of our much loved family home we spoke to several local agents in the Bromley area and after careful consideration we decided that the approach and attention to detail provided by Homezone Estate Agents in Beckenham Lane out shone the rest of the competition. We subsequently commissioned Homezone to act as our selling agents and we are pleased to say that completion took place last week. I bought a lovely Victorian terrace in Shortlands through Homezone last year. When I started looking for a house in the area, I went in to seek their advice. Neil was really friendly and took the time to give me a good idea of what was in my price range and what matched my key criteria. Neil and Denise could not have been more professional or helpful throughout the whole selling/buying process They answered all my questions quickly, kept me apprised of all relevant developments and minimised the stress involved, especially when I was desperately seeking a buyer for my own property after the vendors of the house I ended up buying accepted my offer. I only live around the corner from Homezone and still pop in for a chat now and then. A really great local estate agent. I would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone wishing to sell or buy in and around Shortlands.

I bought and sold through Home Zone and I found them to be first class throughout both transactions. The advice Neil gave was always in our best interest rather than making a quick buck for the firm, this is very refreshing given other Estate Agents attitudes. We have just completed today with a house purchase with Homezone, and we can honestly say that Homezone have been outstanding. When we orginally viewed the house we were unsure at the time of the location etc but Matthew was able to give a very accurate account of the roads, transport and other local details to help us. Subsequently, the house purchase became quite complicated at one point but Matthew was always contactable to help with queries, and on the rare occasions he could not call us back straight away Neil or Denise swiftly chased things for us. We have been impressed by the professionalism and focus of the Homezone team, although we think we have found our final family home and shall not be using their excellant services for a while.

I bought a small terraced house in Bromley via Homezone in 2007. The people I dealt with with were bright, positive and industrious. All the tiresome details were handled without the usual 'high anxiety' and I felt well-represented.
In early 2011 we moved and decided to rent the property rather than sell it. Homezone found us a tenant - during the awful snowy weather - and has represented us professionally and in a friendly and easy-going manner.
Both sides of their business are serviced by good people. Good people make good businesses in my opinion.

I put my flat up for sale with Homezone after having consultations with three estate agents. I felt as they were local to the Shortlands area they knew the realistic sale value rather than suggesting I put it up for something it was never going to achieve. Even though I expected to be in for the long haul as I knew that 1 bedroom flats were moving slowly I got a result within 3 months which was brilliant. The chain proved challenging and I don't think a day went by when I didn't talk to Matthew, Denise or Neil! They were very professional in their approach and helped me keep sane. Thank you!

Homezone offer an exceptional customer service. Personally taking the time to follow-up on queries and acting with efficiency when a query arises. It has been a pleasure to deal personally with Jane Keenan during our two years at the current property. She always goes above and beyond to ensure the tenants needs are met, personally overseeing any repairs works that may arise from time to time.

I found Homezone through Find a Property whilst searching for a flat in Bromley. I recieved a call from Jane who was awesome right from the initial call. The property i viewed was great and in a good location.

Excellent professional service. As new landlords we were unsure of the rules and regulations regarding property letting, but luckily we opted for Homezone as our agent who guided us through the letting process making it a very easy and painless procedure. They arranged all of the necessary checks and documentation to allow us to let our property quickly and easily. I appointed Homezone to sell my property in July 2010 and would certainly recommend them to anyone wanting to sell a property. They were very professional and genuinely took an interest in you as a client. They provided good, sound advice, did not use the usual estate agency hard sell tactics and got me the right result. My sale experience was particularly nightmarish due to a very long chain and ridiculous and greedy people in that chain but Homezone made the process a lot more bearable and certainly knew how to handle the situation a lot better than the other agents in the chain that I had the misfortune of dealing with (you know who you are Mann Countrywide). They kept me informed throughout and nothing was too much trouble for them to deal with. I would absolutely recommend Homezone and if the need arose would definitely use them again.

Comment: Homezone have worked with me for nearly 10 years now and they've proved time and time again to be a diligent and professional management agency. They work with my tenants directly and take care of all of the peripheral management that is needed of them. They have a good network of maintenance people which save me a huge amount of time, and they've worked incredibly successfully in the years by ensuring the property remains occupied. I know I continue to be in good hands.

I chose to appoint Homezone in 2003 because they seemed to care about my two flats more than the other agents who came to meet me. Matthew Wales the Joint MD found me a tenant within three days, and they ended up staying for 8 years in the end! The other property was let within 10 days as well. I got a good rental rate for both, so I was more than happy with my initial experience. Since then, Homezone has grown in size and I'm now in the hands of the wonderful Esther and Jane. Any issues get sorted quickly... tenants seem to stay for a lot longer than the UK average 18 months, and I'm certain that's down to they way that Homezone look after our tenants. Thanks for all your help. It's much appreciated as I know I couln't do it myself!

I find the service that Homezone provide very professional and very comprehensive; they balance the needs of the tenant and the needs of the landlord very well. I am overseas and need an agent that can just get on with managing the property and they do this very well. Whenever I have to deal with any of the staff they are always very polite and friendly. I cannot rate Home Zone highly enough. When I was looking for a property with my family they were extremely thorough, and did what they said they were going to do at good speed. Most importantly, they really safegaurded my interests. When a potential landlord became of concern during rental negotiations, they dealt with it swiftly, and refunded the holding deposit immediately, so that I could look at alternative properties. I will definately use Home Zone again. They are extremely good at customer services, and that is hard to find...

I have been using Homezone for some years. The elements that stand out for me the most are their FLEXIBILITY - always looking for practical low-cost solutions with joined up thinking approaching a problem the way you would if you owned the property, PROFESSIONAL - one single phone number gets you to the person you want to speak to (often others will have knowledge or be able to help), DETAILED INVENTORIES and thorough periodical inspections give huge piece of mind, so important after preparing a home for letting and wanting it back in the same condition. Going the EXTRA MILE: for me this covers so many occasions advice on purchase, valuation, legal aspects, calls retuned out of hours, timely and thorough email responses. All in all HOMEZONE offer customer service as it should be FRIENDLY & PROFESSIONAL and GOOD VALUE.

Home zone provide professional service in their lettings department. They are very helpful and honest when dealing with tenants and issues. I cannot fault their service.

I would like to thank Neil Magurie for selling my property. Being overseas during the whole transaction, Neil was amazing at keeping me in the loop and taking care of everything. Market updates were useful, told me how many people might be interested and even down to the small things, like sending me my mail and making sure the place was clean when he showed people around. I would recommend HomeZone, especially Neil and his team.

I've used HomeZone a couple of times to sell my "homes" in the past and each time i've been very pleased with the level of service and commitment they've given to me and my needs.
The first was a 2 bedroom flat within 3 miles from their office so they were the easy choice for me to use and they sold the property for very close to my asking price.
The 2nd was after i'd moved from within their catchment area but they still managed to send move viewings our way than the first local agent we used and even though they didn't secure the sale on our house i would still be very happy to use them again in the future.

Fantastic customer sevice, very profesional. Had some slight hickups to begin with but sorted very well. Even given a couple of bottles of wine for taking to long to fix a leaky bath pump.

Very dodgy. Tried to pay rent via direct debit they keep messing it up!

, and ensure that the tenants are looking after the property. Where standards of maintenance have dropped, Homezone have kept on top of the situation by insisting that gardeners and professional cleaners are brought in.

I would like to thank "Homezone" for the excellent customer service they provided.
There are some details which can make the whole process a hell, but Homezone team made it smooth and painless.
1. Viewings – the negotiators were coming on-time and provided all the information about apartments (We spend the whole month trying to find the appropriate flat and I know that some of agents can’t answer even the simple questions, such as What is Council Tax? Or Is it close to a train-station?). On that stage they took all the necessary information from us and did not propose anything what they had in their data (we wanted to have a private parking or garage, so they showed only the appropriate variants)
2. Before to make an offer we asked for a special condition - double glassing. Our negotiator sorted it out within 1 hour. She was very quick with all responds; any new information from Landlords (when and how they are going to put new windows) or changes – she was giving a call.
3. If that needed our negotiator to stay a bit later at work she did.
4. When we arrived to Homezone office to get our keys, an Agreement was already on the table and we also get additional helpful info about the place.
5. We didn’t wait for anything (in the office, or phone calls): all the members of Homezone team were quickly coming back to us to assist/explain.
6. We needed an apartment urgently and explained it from the beginning. So, the whole process took one week only.
When it is so in rush and you feel very worried, everything needs to be this way: relaxed, confident and helpful.

They were very approachable and "on the ball" and responsive and i was really pleased with the overall experince in getting to a happy result for vendor and purchaser
