   After what seemed to be a fairly easy sale, at 8 weeks it all went wrong. At this point we had put an offer on another house. We were desperate not to lose this house, so we asked what were our options?, John said had people on his books that bought houses quickly and with a cash sale. Just what we needed, the house was viewed by a buyer and the next day they made an offer. We accepted and within 1week we had exchanged and expect to complete within the next 5 days. Can't thank the staff at Hawkins in Coventry enough.

   Hawkins of Nuneaton was our Estate agents for some time in selling our property and due to the dire situation with the current financial climate it has been an experience in itself. We were spoilt in a way from day one, in how things were being handled by the experts at Hawkins and they have been fantastic to say the least. They have kept us informed of nearly everything including:
   a) What steps to take in a pro-active manner, if the property was not getting sold in the expected time frame?

   We purchased our new property through Hawkins Lisa Hall was very efficient and helpful and everything ran smoothly,
   However the sale of our own property was a nightmare with another estate agent in Hinckley if it had not been for the swift and efficient response from Lisa at Hawkins I feel sure we would have lost our buyer. Lisa went above and beyond her job role to assist us in both sale and purchase. I would definitely recommend Hawkins estate agents as they take all the pressure off your when buying and selling.

   This was kind, pro-active, helpful service from start to finish. I didn't have to do any chasing or nagging, and felt very much that Hawkins were on my side. They managed all my queries with courtesy and patience, and made helpful suggestions that really did help. I have no qualms in recommending them.

   Suzanne worked extremely hard to find suitable tenants for our two maisonettes in a timely manner. She is always friendly and approachable so that we have felt happy to contact her with any queries, no matter how small. We have just moved our second maisonette over to Hawkins as we felt very happy with how they have managed our other property. We particularly liked that Hawkins send us a text to inform us whenever there is to be a viewing on our property and that they contacted us after each viewing to discuss how it went. It helped us to feel informed.

   This week we have had three viewings, resulting in all every prospective tenant wanting to rent our property. We feel that this is testament to Suzanne’s positive and friendly manner making tenants feel confident to use Hawkins as an agency and therefore interested in renting our property.

   Overall we have been very happy since using Hawkins as rental agency for our properties and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

   My wife and I originally used Hawkins back in 2004 and were very pleased then. We decided to use them again when we were on the market again in 2012 - 3. We were pleased that once again, the Hawkins team (John Little, Janet Godfrey, Dan) had lost none of their touch. In a difficult market the house was sold in three months. At all times we were kept fully informed with regular feedback via our mobile phone. Completion went through with no hassle at all. Well done.

   We sold our property with Hawkins within 2 weeks of it going on the market! Dan came round to value the property and made us feel very confident that it would indeed sell. After that our contact at Hawkins was with Janet. She was absolutely brilliant!!! She was always there on the end of the phone when we needed help and advice and we felt like we were dealing with an old friend not just someone who worked in an estate agents. Janet kept us informed on progress once we had sold and even went as far as collecting our keys from the agents we bought off for us so we only had to go to one agent to drop keys off and pick our new ones up on moving day! That is what I call service! Thank you so much Hawkins (especially Janet). We are now happily renovating our new home and we certainly recommend you to anyone who is thinking of selling their property.

    They have acted in an efficient and professional manner in all aspects of the relationship.
    Inspections and reports on the property status are issued on a regular basis.

    Sold a property through Hawkins after being recommended to them by a friend...from the first visit to look at our property, through to the eventual purchase, my wife and I felt comfortable in the knowledge that we were in safe hands. We seemed to be treated as if it was the only house Hawkins were selling (it obviously wasn't) and had a steady flow of interested buyers and always received satisfactory levels of communication and feedback. We took on board the feedback, took action (decorated the hallway) and then sold to the next people that came round! And all at a time when supposedly, houses weren't selling! I hope not to have to use Hawkins again as it will mean my wife wants a bigger, more expensive house or she'll have kicked me out but if needs must, then I would not hesitate to use them again

    Hawkins let 6 flats for me and I have always found them excellent. Really prompt service, they have found me tenants very quickly thus keeping my void periods to virtually nil. My tenants have also told me that Hawkins do a really good job handling the administration, are informative, helpful and turn up on time for viewings. The staff are nice people to deal with and you can tell they enjoy their work..they want to please.

    I have rented the out above property through Hawkins for some years now and have always found their service very good. They have looked after renewals and new tenants very well. One of the main benefits is that Hawkins visit the property on a regular basis and give me reports on how the tenant is looking after the property and also any work that I need to do on the property to keep it up to standard.
    The biggest plus from my point of view, as a landlord, is that Hawkins deal with all the day to day issues that would be a pain for me to sort out. e.g. Rent collection and remitting to me, organising minor repairs/elec problems, regular property visits and finding new tenants quickly.

    We have bought AND sold through Hawkins in the last 6 months and I have to say we have been very impressed with the quality of service, knowledge and professionalism shown by both their Nuneaton and Bedworth offices. We were given good , accurate and honest advice about pricing our property for sale and the communication levels and feedback were first class. They achieved a sale for us at a good price within 3 weeks of us going on the market which was over and above our expectations.

    When it came to buying they kept us up to date with suitable properties and arranged viewings efficiently and promptly . We would have no hesitation in recommending Hawkins to all our friends and colleagues.

    Hawkins provided a first class property sales service. As we live in the South West they took charge of the sale process from start to end. The property was sold within two months of going on the market. Hawkins then appointed Premier Property Lawyers to handle the conveyancing process. The whole process was conducted online through an automated electronic service which enabled documents to be downloaded and uploaded within minutes. We were kept informed at every stage of the process. Contracts were exchanged about six weeks from the start of the sale and all monies were paid using Premier Property Lawyers excellent online bank transfer service.

    I would like to say that my dealings with Hawkins Estate Agents in Coventry has been an extremely pleasurable experience. My first contact there was Daniel who showed me around a property that I subsequently had an offer accepted on. I felt that enough time had been allocated for me to view the property and Daniel was both helpful and informative in answering any questions that I raised with him. My second contact was Janet who initially put forward my offer to the vendor and once accepted helped me tremendously at every stage of the proceedings. She liased with the solicitors and other estate agents in the chain and because of her commitment I was able to exchange contracts in less than 3 weeks without feeling in the least bit stressed. She retained a sense of humour throughout and nothing was too much trouble. Customer service is alive and kicking at Hawkins, Coventry! A big thank you to all the team and especially Janet.

    From John's initial visit to value my property to the final telephone call to confirm completion, the whole process was dealt with in a friendly, professional and very efficient manner.
    I was kept completely up to date at every stage by Dan, Janet or Maria by phone.

    I do not hesitate to recommmend Hawkins to anyone considering a house sale. They also recommended a very good Solicitor who had the same professional approach and the whole transaction took little over 3 months to completion.

    Right from the start we were kept informed. We were sent proofs of advertising literature, informed of who to ring if we had any queries on progress of sales. Even sent a detailed chart of viewings and comments made by prospective buyers. We had had the property up for sale with another Estate agent for over 12 months and the only time we heard from them was when we joined and when we left so this was a breath of fresh air. All through the selling progress Janet kept us informed and prompted us to chase our solicitor to ensure the sale progressed to a successful conclusion. Even though she was going on holiday the next day she took the time to let us know contracts had been exchanged and the sale had gone through.
    We would definitely recommend this company to any prospective seller. We had to sell the property in order to finance our mothers nursing care bills. Hawkins made it possible and Janet added the TLC. Thank you.

    This was our first house bought in 1989 and loved every minute of our life there. After 22 years the family needed more space hence, reluctantly we decided to put the house for sale and purchased larger property. At the same time we planned to go on holiday but were concerned time it would take to sell our house. We called John Little and the property was on sale before we left for Xmas holiday 2011. Within days Hawkins text us for potential buyer interested in our property, and by the end of March 2012 we exchanged contract. We were fortunate for using a highly qualified Estate agents and the team did best to help us sale the house. We will really miss the house, but thanks to Janet for the hard work in securing the sale.

    I was initially visited (upon request) about my property in October 2011. I did not then decide to sell until January 2012. In this time I was not contacted and pressured into anything.     Excellent service and RESULTS from a very efficient and professional team .

    We used Hawkins to sell and they basically kept their promises – accurate ,realistic valuation advice followed by effective marketing locally and nationally. Mr Hawkins himself came to value our house initially and gave us an honest assessment of the market and the value of our property. We instructed Hawkins despite other higher valuations from other agents who we didn’t trust.

    We were kept informed of progress all the way and can’t fault their communication. We were most impressed that through their national network links they found us an “out of town “ buyer who was relocating to the area and the whole deal went through in 9 weeks. Would certainly recommend them.

    I can't thank the staff at the Nuneaton office enough for helping me with the sale of my house. It was not an easy thing for me to do, but the girls kept me informed about what was happening, and the sale went through this week-end. They certainly took a weight off my shoulders.

    We had been on another agents books for a period of six months to let our property.. Although we had a number of possible clients no one took up the option to rent the property. We repeatedly requested feed back or even a phone call, but had no cooperation.
    Within ten days of being on Hawkins books we received three positive offers.This was due mainly to Susanne working very hard at her job.She repeatedly rang us (even from her home) to keep us up to speed with developments and after two weeks we have a tenant ready to move in this week. Nothing was too much trouble for her.
    So we thank Susanne and all the staff at Hawkins for their very professional conduct and great customer care attitude.
    Thanks to staff/ team work in Coventry Nuneaton and Rugby.

    Great service. First used Hawkins a couple of years ago to buy my first home. Was very pleased with how they handled things so used their Coventry office late 2011 to sell. Can report the sale and move was a success and I've already thanked John, Janet and the team. Professional and friendly from start to finish...got a bit nervewracking towards the end but they did everything to get the sale through.....even doing what the other agents in the chain should have done. I would not hesitate to recommend them. Not sure what happened to the previous reviewer....they all seemed pleasant and professional enough to me. can't say I noticed what clothes they were wearing...I was more interested in the house sale. Thanks again, I've already suggested someone I work with gives you a call!!!

    Thought I'd just say how helpful hawkins coventry office were when we called in. I'd have thought first time buyers would be welcomed by all estate agents just now but most didn't seem to be interested. Hawkins were very nice to us and even gave us a coffee! We'll be back...

    Outstanding service from every aspect. Would highly recommend using them for selling or buying.
    Especially the lady called 'Janet' at the coventry branch who did everything immaginable to ensure our house sale didnt fall though. She deserves a payrise!!..
