We have generally been very impressed with Hamptons. So far they have found us good tenants. We have particularly benefited from their excellent property management service. Problems are quickly brought to our attention and quickly rectified by their contractors.

Emma Bonham at Hamptons has been managing three properties for me over the past 18 months. I can certainly say that she has done an excellent job. As an overseas landlord, my expectations are for prompt, efficient service, avoid void periods and resolve tenant issues in the same manner. In all these areas she has done a top class job, supported of course by several others in the Hamptons Maidenhead Team. I cannot recommend Emma and Hamptons highly enough.

Hamptons of Maidenhead managed my property for several years in a most professional way. In particular, Emma Bonham did an excellent job overseeing its refurbishment.

Re Propert Manager - Julia Seggie.

I have been renting now for 6 months with Hamptons and have had a number of minor issues attended to by my Property Manager Julia Seggie. After having experienced a number of different property managers over the last 6 years, i can confidently say that Julia is by far the most efficient and effective property manager i have ever had. Julia takes ownership of issues straight away and maintains open communication until the issue is resolved. She is worth her weight in gold! Thank you Julia :)

We have been letting our flat through Hamptons since 2004 and have been pleased with the prompt way they have dealt with issues that have arisen.
Valentina who is our property manager has sorted out a variety of problems in a friendly and highly efficient manner. I feel she is someone I can rely on.

We originally dealt with Victoria in lettings who was absolutely wonderful, helpful and managed our expectations and was professional at every turn. At the roundup when we left the flat we dealt with Valentina who was again friendly, helpful, efficient and very professional. Unfortunately in the middle we had the unpleasant experience of dealing with the ironically titled lettings negotiator Melissa, who sent us a bullying email around the end of our tenancy and then ignored our response completely. On the basis that Hapmtons were getting publicity on their market intelligence and publising stats and commenting in the Evening Standard that rentals were falling on average 9.8% in London, we asked for a rent reduction and said we would extend for another year. Melissa (who was mean't to be negotiating, misleading job title methinks) ignored our email and it was only when we informed out landlords (lovely people) that we were moving out independently they confirmed they had agreed to a rent reduction to keep us as they thought we were great tenants and never heard back from Hamptons....... and here was me thinkg they were engaged to act in the best interest of the clients and carry out their wishes. Obviously not when it decreases their percentage fee when the rent it less. This is why I would not use Hamptons again, I find bad manners and dishonesty very offputting.......

While I was in Hong Kong I let my house through Hamptons and was very pleased with the efficient, cheerful way they managed the property. Urgent matters were dealt with immediately and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. I would certainly use them again

This agency are brilliant at telling you why they should not chase up your deposit, they don't care about Tenants unless you give them money or owe them money, strange really, customer service and all that!

We currently rent our flat via Hamptons (after being transferred when our property was bought) and they have been far more helpful than our last agent on the same flat. Tamara from the Hammersmith office has been fantastic in being patient with us and helping us fix all the problems that the last agent simply didn't. Having a good agent makes a big difference in having a happy home!

As tenants, we had an excellent expereince of Hamptons as our Managing Agent. Estelle was highly professional, efficient and responsive and did a superb job at dealing effectively with all the issues that arose during our tenancy. Very good managing agents. Julia was always sympathetic and helpful. Most professional agents I have used in my many years of renting. Wanted to look for another property managed by them as we were looking for something bigger.

Shocking failures on the part of every member of staff I dealt with, and also from their referencing agency, cost me a significant amount of time and money. Avoid at all costs!

The staff are always happy to help, before we bought our last house we viewed around 50 properties and they were always happy to hand over the keys for the weekend.
