   We appointed Gascoigne Halman Altrincham in June last year to sell our house. It had been on the market for a year with another agent and we decided it was time for a change.

   The difference in agents was staggering. We were well informed in how our house faired with other property statistics, we got honest and upfront feedback about how the market was doing, and whether there was anything further we could do to push our house sale. In addition, 95% of viewings were carried out by the agents (which was our preference) and we were always offered prompt feedback, or an update in status.

   Once we got the sale, we were kept regularly updated, and were always able to get a quick response to any questions or queries we had.

   Overall, communication was consistently professional, friendly and prompt. Just what you need when you're trying to sell your home.

   All of the staff were polite and helpful even though there were one or two stressful moments.

   Although the sale took a longtime (6 months) we are certain that we got the best price possible for our sale and got a good price (slightly less that we were prepared to pay) for our new house which we also purchased through Gascoigne Halman.

   During the summer there was a period of time when we didn't receive any viewings and we had to to talk to Gascoigne about the situation which then immediately improved.

   Overall Gascoigne Halman have been supportive, realistic and practical in their approach to our sale and purchase.

   They have done a good job for us in the financial negotiations for both transactions.

   We would recommend them!

   The service provided to me by Altrincham Gascoigne Halman as a buyer, was exceptional, and I, would think, sets them apart from other local agents. The Altrincham Gascoigne Team really work as a team, providing an impressive overall service. The mediating and communicative skills demonstrated by Fay Carver, Thomas and Dan ensured that the transaction was executed quickly and with minimal stress. I would certainly recommend any prospective vendors to give serious thought to using GH.

   I was executor for the estate of a long-term friend and part of that duty was to act on his behalf in the sale of his house. Richard was very helpful in what was an emotional and time consuming situation. The sale of the property was hindered by several solicitors, delayed on numerous occasions for petty reasons and Richard managed to keep all those involved calm and on speaking terms. He and his staff were always professional and ready to help. They always appear to be a team that are happy and enthusiastic in their work. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone and should the occasion arise we would certainly use them again

   Christine found a viewer the day she valued my property. This quickly turned into a sale and negated the need for constant viewings and uncertainty. We were able to plan our next property purchases immediately and had no problems with the exchange.

   James has been very patient with me as I am very picky and not really sure what I am looking for. He has made sure I look at a wide variety of properties in my search to find our next family home.
   Gascoignes has by far and away the best choice of properties and they always follow up viewings with a call for feed back - something I am sure anyone looking to sell will find reassuring.

   Proffesional of the highest standard is how I would describe Mark, from my first meeting nothing was to much trouble, I gave him a few details and within a few minutes he had my mortgage offer, once accepted it was complete within sevral days stress free. He answered all my emails and texts within 15 min of me sending them. If you are looking for an honest, down to earth and straight answers then Mark is your man. Looking forward to a good deal once this mortgage runs out.

   Jacqui was courteous, professional and extremely helpful when we were seeking to secure a property to rent. We were working to very tight timelines and as we hadn't rented a house in over 20 years we had lots of questions. Jacqui was both polite and responsive. We are now looking to buy a property and will be more inclined to use this agent as a result of our recent experience with the lettings side of the business

   Working with all the staff at the Poynton branch was a pleasure.
   I have been dealing with this office over the past 2 years, both letting and selling my property.
   Throughout this time service was prompt, professional and friendly.
   Most of my dealings were with James the manager and Sue who, along with the other staff went above and beyond my expectations.
   I struggle to find fault and would defiantly recommend and use the company again.

    Gascoigne Halman found us our dream house! As first time buyers we were REALLY nervous about being messed about with the whole buying process but it all went really smoothly. They kept us in the loop at every stage and every time we wanted access to the property to measure up, they fitted us in. As soon as the contracts were exchanged and the money transferred I had a call from them to say we could collect the keys, there was no hanging around! Overall, we are really happy with how things have gone and would recommend Gascoigne Halman Altrincham Branch. In a decade when we want to sell up we'll be heading your way!    After visiting 5 local estate agents in Stockton Heath out of the 5 Gascoigne Halman is at the top of my list for excellent service. The staff were very friendly and helpful and were genuinely interested in my needs as a potential buyer. I was seen to by Jacqueline who was very pleasant and professional, she went through all the properties in my price range and I was registered to recieve updates about new properties. I was immediately put at ease and found the information I recieved to be very useful.

   The agent generally was very helpful in arranging viewings for us, and also latterly in arranging acces for our surveyors and tradesmen as the selling process neared completion. The manager, Tim Jackson, deserves full marks for the way the agency works so well. For example, he went to a lot of trouble to provide us with background information about the property which really did help to ensure a successful transaction for both the vendor and ourselves. You can't ask for more than that.

   GH are well established in the area and are one of three agents handling the more expensive properties. I was particularly impressed by the professionalism of the manager and office staff and thus chose GH to market the property.

   I am a realistic vendor and I am more than aware of the difficult market conditions. The manager gave good sound advice in relation to price and the property was well marketed and attracted considerable interest. When offers were made the manager was streadfast as to value and as a sale progressed was efficient and effective as matters/complications (intrinsic to every house sale) arose; these matters were dealtwith in a professional 'none dramatic' fashion.

   I would without doubt recommend GH Stockton Heath, to anyone considering a sale of their property. The impression given by the purchasers was of an equally efficient and proffessional team.

   I have had call to visit agents in the Hale area and would add a similar comment about that offce of GH, where staff and manager seem to made of the very same quality material.

   I have bought and sold a number of properties using the altrincham office,and the service as always been perfect and professional, however on this occasion i contacted fay carver, she not only sold the property quickly in a difficult financial period ,but always made us feel that she had a personal interest in helping me and my partner,which was truly refreshing also a special mention for tom who also had a careing attitude ,so its a big pat on the back to everyone at the altrincham office for a job well done again !

   We purchased a house advertised by Gascogine Halman in Bramhall, and would commend them their professionalism, efficiency, and friendliness. They were tough negotiators on behalf of the vendors, whilst also being reasonable in engaging both sides in a reasonable dialogue. Throughout the purchase process they were responsive and informative, and helped us to complete wtihin 5 weeks of our offer being accepted. We would certainly consider selling our house through them if we had to move.

    We had alot of hassle with the sale from the very start, the 1st buyer pulled out after afew weeks, the 2 nd pulled out after 3 months and finally 3rd time lucky. However Karen at Gascoigne's kept us well informed at all times and found new buyers after only being back on the market for days.
    She is a very efficient agent and gave some very good advise and we will deffinately get back in touch when we decide to put something else on the market. Thanks again Karen.
