Dreadful service, dreadful staff, they completely ignored any requests for help and finally ripped off our deposit - need I say more.....?
Use them at your peril.

The WORST service we've ever experienced from any agent, anywhere in the UK.
We'd NEVER use them again or recommend them to anyone, tenant or landlord.

Me and my boyfriend moved to a fineholm flat last year and we have had nothing but trouble since the day we moved in. when we arrived at the office to pick up the keys they had added another 170 quid on to deposit which we had been told 3 times before that it would be £350!!! We were also told that there was a £40 charge because we didnt have this money in cash and had to pay it by card. we told them if they wanted the money, we would not pay the charge!
Once we had paid that (without another charge), we got the keys!! finally thanks to their unhelpful staff who know nothing about property!
Arriving at the flat we were shocked to find the place totally trashed, holes in the walls, carpet all burns, junk all lying around and they had the cheek to charge up that £170 for the cleaning the place. We rang the place up immeditely to complain however we were told the cleaning company would come within the next 2 days and the holes in the walls were our fault from moving in, although the place was so trashed we couldnt bring anything into the flat!! it took them 4 months to finally come and fill the holes in by two guys who looked like they were the crooks from home alone!
we've been in the flat for nearly 9 months now and we still have problems with rats that they refuse to do anything about saying its nothing to do with them! we have also problems with the electricity due to fineholm who have not told us where the meter is located, saying it will cost a £10 charge for the key to get access to it! we have also had problems with getting access to the building via the front and back which are being constantly locked and we cannot get in! Also we are having problems with the mail, which we are simply not getting and when we do its been opened and tampered with! Another problem is the cooker that we have rang up on several occasions about as the thermostat has gone meaning it cooks everything in 5 mins and if it doesnt cook it, it will charcoal it black! As me and my boyfriend are chefs we know to check,and its only a matter of time before it goes on fire! i dare to think what would happen if say a single mother lived here...!
We have just had a phone call today now saying we owe them a further £200 for 'extra charges'(which was £85 yesterday). This has angered me so much i have felt the need to look for other people who have had similar problems with fineholm and share their experiences.
I dont know what to do as we are a young couple just starting out and i am personally at college full time with THREE JOBS, while my boyfriend is on the sick. I just cannot afford to pay them this kind of money, i have no other option but to start looking into the legal side of it and see if we have a case against them, as its not fair them picking on young people who they think they know nothing about property- but they are wrong!!
The staff in the office are so unprofessional and know so little about property, sitting at their pc sending texts from the internet and putting their make up on whilst clients are in the same room- good image to give!!
I just wished now we had never got this flat and would say to anyone who is even thinking about a fineholm property is to not even go- dont even consider it no matter how good the deal is!
I just cant wait til august until we can move from this hell hole as i dont know how much more we can take!!

We are a fmily of 5. The heating broke down in November - they got someone to "repair it" just before Xmas. They broke it completely and we had no hot water/heating for 3 weeks in total -including Xmas and NY. They were useless at chasing it up or organizing emergency repair. We are moving out now as had enough of dealing with Fineholm. (Similar problems last year. )

Only thing Fineholm are interested in is the money! Getting your deposit from them is a marrathon as they try to keep as much of it as they can.
Would never rent from them again!!!

cannot agree more - they do nothing for the landlord or for the tenant.

We have been tenants in a rented propert for almost 3 years. We do look after the flat but the agency is scooping all the money and not doing anything. We had to chase them up for any repairs, lease extension etc. If I was a landlord I would never use Fineholm to look after my property as they do not care about it one little bit!
