I agree with the other reviews and they all carry a theme. Enter without notice. Lie that a repair is not reported. Inspect property and complain about something already on the ongoing inventory. And what upsets me is they get away with it. No authority that can punish them and they are dealing with people's lives. They kept my deposit and say the house was unclean when my photos show different. I think they think I have given up. They unlawfully tried to evict me early so new tenants could move in. And they unlawfully added a clause in the tenancy about a faulty appliance. Why is there not someone who can shut them down. They accursed me of sending a criminal email when I have sent no such thing and have never been questioned by police. They use bully tactics.

We have dealt with FaulknerProperty.co.uk in Buckingham and Milton Keynes offices for many years - the service we get is excellent. We are kept regularly informed as to the progress of rent being paid, property inspections and any works that need to be done. The staff are all very helpful and friendly and all seem to know enough about our property to deal with any queries. We have used other agents in the past and found that none of them come up to FaulknerProperty's high standards with regard to customer service, attention to detail and fairness to the tenant, which is something that we feel is very important. As landlords we trust FaulknerProperty in all dealings with our property and would not hesitate to recommend them to other landlords and tenants alike.

I have contacted this agent multiple times via e-mail and voicemail over a period of 4 weeks with lettings enquiries and have yet to receive any response. As a landlord of properties elsewhere in the UK I am unimpressed that they ignore enquiries, & for properties which remain unlet.
Having now read the reviews on this site it seems that their indifference has served me well by preventing me from becoming a tenant of theirs.
I wish them good luck with the customer ignoring policy, but caution that it probably isnt going to work in the long term.

avoid them!!! the "customer" service is non existing. If you try to complain they refuse to do anything.
The top of the iceberg was when they tried to access the flat without any further notice. (due to maintenance check)
but when I confront them with this they lied about sending me an email. But they were unable to show me a proof of that email. Rude, unprofessional, expensive = Faulkner propertyWas this review helpful? Yes

It shows how bad an agency this is if the owner MANDIR is commenting and leaving 5 star comments him/herself.

I had my portfolio of three properties rented out via another rental agent in Milton Keynes. But after not receiving my rental payments and more worryingly very poor property management I have instructed Faulkner to act as my new management company
Faulkner have now managed my portfolio for five months and the service level of property management is immeasurable compared to what I thought was the norm.
They are professional in their approach and always inform me with any maintenance required to keep my investments in good order.
I have recently had one of my tenants move out and again was impressed with the handling of the checkout issues. These were dealt with promptly and fairly and having meet with the tenants they also agreed with this.
I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a professional organization to not only manage but care for your property.Was this review helpful? Yes

AVIOD AT ALL COST!! I was a tenant in one of their properties for 6 months and it was the longest 6 months of my rental career.
They are all nice and polite at first once they have got you locked into once of their smothering contracts and they have your money in their account they forget all about you and become nasty, rude and unprofessional. I asked on numerous occasions for the toilet to be fixed but was never done and when challenged about it they denied any knowledge of it despite me having proof they did receive my requests in writing. I let out several houses and in my dealings with Faulkner I have always found them to be very professional. They pay me on time consistently. They are tough but fair. Top marks for conducting a difficult middle man role well.

Very good to us at the start, easy to move in and very friendly. However when we had problems they were rather useless, one example being when they left us without any fresh drinking water for over a week. They are also OTT on the check out inspection; we ended up being charge to clean to floor after the person doing the inspection walked mud all over it. If you do really want a property they rent take your own photos of everything when you move in and when you move out because you will find them to be most untrustworthy. Rent with them at your peril, if your a landlord however who just wants to make money and does not care one fig about your tenants then Faulkner's is the agent for you!

Consider this. When i recieved the property i lived in for 8 months the kitchen was a mess inside the cupboards, every wall was scuffed or marked, there was dust in the bathroom and there was several things wrong with the place, from the trivial no plug in the kitchen sink, to a leaking pipe in a cupboard that left the kitchen stinking of mold. Oh and the hob that had one ring broken the entire time i lived there. Being in the kitchen trade i repaired all these problems, sealled the worktops that had no joint strips. I have looked at this site and am horrified when I compare it to my experiences as a landlord. All I can say is in the twelve years that I have dealt with this company, I have had nothing but an exemplary service, not least when tenants leave owing rent or fail to leave the property in an appropriate condition compared to the inventory, Faulkner ensure that the matter is handled objectively and professionally despite some very untoward reactions from tenants who obviously believe they can trash houses and get way with it. It is important to say that the few times they have had to resort to the Dispute Service, their case has been completely vindicated! As a multiple landlord I would recommend them wholeheartedly, to tenants I would say look after a property and they will be just as effective for you.

They are the most unprofessional letting agents I have ever come across. They came in the house and checked my wardrobes. When my shower broke and I told them I couldn't bend down to wash in a bath due to pregnancy complications I was asked how I put my knickers on in the morning!! I am currently in the process of taking legal action against all of this!! Avoid!

Avoid faulkner at all cost. Always when I have rung up they have been rude to us and do nothing to help. Even our landlord said they have been rude to him. Very poor customer service. Worst agency ever.

I wish I had read these reviews before I signed up with this agency. I so regret it. I have read all the reviews on here, and let me tell you, as someone that just recently signed on with them, and still have several months to go on my lease - avoid Faulkner Property Rentals at all cost!!!! They are the worst agency I have ever had to deal with.
Let's start from the beginning. When you sign on with them, you will definitely notice that they do not explain to you the procedure to follow if you ever have anything that needs fixing. I think that should have been my number one light bulb.... (read more)

Following a brief call to the agency today (all of 2 minutes) whereby I was starting to describe the property I was looking for and (I felt) building a rapport with the agent I was very quickly told I had a bad attitude the call was terminated before I could work out what was happening - what an awful way to treat a prospective customer - are you so big that during the biggest recession in our lifetimes you can reject business so off-hand and pass it to your competitors? I felt this was absolutely ridiculous and recommend everyone offer your money to any of the other agencies in Milton Keynes - at least they will appreciate your business. I have also written to the management centre to offer my views on this matter - what a horrible experience which has ruined my morning.

I stayed in a house let to me by Faulkners and it has been the worse experience of my life. They charge you excessively, have no disregard for you as a tenant, are not helpful at all. I feel they are a disgrace and should be banned from being a letting agent. Frankly if you want to let with these guys just walk away. it is not worth it.

We had a pest problem in a flat due to an unmaintained property by the landlord. We were initially asked to pay for it and then after threatening them legally they gave way. We were forced to live in a rat infested property and no word about any compensation.
Horrible people to deal with if there is a problem!

Never addresses customer concerns. Left without heating for 2 weeks in the winter and no apology. Later lied to by saying I never complained about the problem earlier. Avoid Faulkner like the plague.

 and in the end caused that much stress to myself and my partner that I was left with no choice but to cut my losses and just retrieve what little was left of my deposit after Faulkner Property Rentals had eaten their way through it. To give you an idea of the sums involved in my deposit: Faulkner Property Rentals held over £1000 as way of my deposit and upon leaving the property they return less than £90.
