Me and my wife chose Express after a poor experience with Brigfords. Express from day one was pro active, viewings came in thick and fast and we soon had offers on the table. We then got to a stage where we was able to accept an offer and here I am now writing this review in my new home.
Although the fees are not cheap I do feel it was worth the money as they have sold the house within two months. Rebecca Southward and Sophie Ashton both worked well, made us feel like number one at all times and kept us fully up to date with the progression of both our sale and onward purchase via another agent who never contacted us once during the process it should be noted.
Our move has worked out nicely in terms of timing as my wife is expecting our first child in February. Express helped make this happen when we had virtually given up all hope! Thanks Express.
If you want to use an Estate Agent who backs up the words with action then use Express, you will not be disappointed.

I have moved many times in the past (12 times in 20 years) and used many different agents, but Express estate agents are definately the best. I can not fault them in any way. From my first contact they were friendly, helpful and didn't try and push me into anything. They said they should be able to get me a buyer in 4 weeks and from day 1 I had a lot of viewers every week and almost to the day I had a definate offer in 4 weeks. Our property had been on the market for almost 2 years without success. Within 2 days of signing up with Express Estate Agency and putting our property on the market it had been sold!All the staff we were in communication with were helpful and friendly and answered all of our many questions, making the selling of the house simple and as stress free as possible.

I would recommend Express Estate Agency to any one selling a property, I can only say, that from the very first phone call I made to them to the last call confirming that contracts had been exchanged on the sale of my property that all the staff were very professional and helpful. I was also very impressed on how fast they sold my property.

We had our property on the market for almost two years with a local agent and had very little response, as soon as we transfered to express estate agents, we had a veiwing within one week and an offer was made as a result we completed this week, after only eight weeks!! we can't thank express estate agents enough, espically Vanessa Taylor who was just great.

I have no idea where they get the name Express from?! I phoned nearly 2 weeks ago to arrange a viewing on a property listed with them, they phoned back the same day just to confirm that the vendor wanted in excess of what was advertised, so I know my phone number was at least taken down properly. I also rang back to say the viewing would have to be late Saturday afternoon or on a evening week night. Still waiting for a viewing!
And to be honest, if I am about to spend the biggest amount of money in my life, I would like to think I have used a reliable agent. I'm sure the vendor would be really disappointed to know that their agent isn't communicating with prospective buyers...

We had our house on the market for 6 monhs with a different agent, had three viewings but no offers. We thought we would try another agent and we discussed this with a few but then next door went on with Express Estate Agency and they were sold within 1 month! So we went on with them also and sold within the month! Brilliant. Polite, friendly, helpful staff - no messing around, they just get on with the job in hand and hence sell properties fast. From the beginning to end this Express were brilliant, I would highly recommend them and 'if'' we ever need an estate agent again they would be the place we would go.

Express agency did exactly what they said they would do, I got brilliant first class service from them, Towards the end of the sale I spoke allot with Beth, who was great, she kept in touch every few days to keep me updated. I was very pleased with the service given by the Agency. I think one of the strengths is that each team deals with one aspect of the selling process and I felt I was making progress as I was passed from one team to the next.
The staff were very helpful and kept me fully informed of all aspects of the sale.
The fee was higher than local estate agents but I felt that the agency earned that money and the sale went through from signing on up to the money in the bank in exactly 3 months.

Cannot really find fault with the service I received from Express, I found their staff to be very professional, polite and courteous. They were quick to respond to requests, provided frequent updates and made the experience very easy to deal with.
Express were also quick to arrange my viewing and asked my opinion on the property to give feedback to the vendor. You’d think this would be standard practice for estate agents; however, Express was one of the few agents (from the many that I’d dealt with) that actually did this.
Overall a pleasure to deal with, would highly recommend.

Excellent service received- cannot fault them at all. They kept me up to date and informed about all aspects of my sale. They were knowledgable and answered all my questions honestly. I felt that they were really working hard for me- in a way I have never experienced with other estate agents in the past.
I was very happy with our agent- Lucy. She ensured we understood everything, and also offered emotional support, as it is very stressful selling a house.
I would highly recommend this company to anyone wishing to sell their property fast- they were very realistic and managed to sell our house quickly.

Ineffective service all-round unless you want to give away your property! Certainly not worthy of their 1.95% fee with such negligible outlay.
Express Estate Agents have miscommunicated viewing times to inconvenienced potential buyers, which reflects badly on me and does little in pursuit of a sale, nor does it help relations in what is already a stressful and sensitive negotiation process. Viewings have been arranged with no confirmation. Trying to resolve matters has not been possible. They operate a call centre that passes on a message for a support team member to ring you back. I rang to make an appointment to view this property, I really wanted to view it the same weekend but I was told that I couldn't view it till the next week. After being phoned a couple of times and giving exactly the same long list of information included informing them that I was a cash buyer, I managed to make an appointment. I arrived at said day and time to view and no one was there to greet me. After another phone call and being passed around, I was told that the appointment had been cancelled and the house had been sold. I had not been told this and can't believe that the owner would turn down a potentially higher offer from a cash buyer. Business must be good! The estate agent said that he would ring me back yo say why the viewing had been cancelled -I'm still waiting.

Having purchaed many properties over the years i was extremely impressed by there efficency. Normal high street agents very rarely deliever what they promise. I was constanstly updated and was able to conta and speak to the office at any time.
would recommend them and would most feinately use them if i ever have a poperty to sell.

So I have just recently received a call confirming that the exchange is complete and my first house is finally mine. What can I say, the staff at Express Estate have been amazing from start to finish, a friendly group of people that are always happy to speak to you and help with any queries. They made things simple by constantly being in contact and available to contact, they kept the terminology easy to make sure I understood everything that was going on at all times.
I'm a truly satisfied customer who would definitely reccomend his company to anyone.

Arranged 2 visits easily and the person on the phone was pleasant enough. As soon as I asked for a 3rd visit (we were really interested just want in making an offer) . The request for 3rd visit was almost met with anger by the agent (call centre employee) on the phone and had to really force him to get a 3rd visit. This really put us off looking at the flat again. We did see it again and we put an offer in the next day. Our pricing policy is simply based upon achieving maximum value for our customers in the timescales that suit them. In this this instance our client had numerous offers on the table and was confident they would achieve a figure higher than your final offer. Whilst we fully appreciate how devastating it must have been for you to lose out on the property, this property was keenly priced and therefore it generated high levels of interest which ultimately led to a number of higher offers for our client to consider. We take every complaint extremely seriously and constructively as possible but in this transaction we only followed our client’s instructions, as any Estate Agency is legally obliged to do. I found the service Lucy and Express provided nothing short of excellent. Throughout the whole process, Lucy was on hand to help with everything. I had a buyer secured within a few weeks of my property going on the market, however the selling process became very slow and stressful, with every step seeming to have a paperwork hold up. The staff member who dealt with my sale kept me informed and I believe she did her best to push things along.

Andy Taylor was very good from the start,he kept me inform on a almost daily basis what was happening,what was not.I did'nt feel at anytime that i was unaware what was going on,which is a very important part of buying a new home.He was confident, had a good listening ear,when he said he would do somethink he did.There was a few times when i spoke to the other staff again good and what they could not answer they found out and got back to meI would recommend them.Andy made the move as stressless as he could for us.Thankyou.

We purchased a property through them and found all of the staff to be easy to deal with and dealt with our enquries promptly. Lucy kept us in touch and was very helpful.

i sold my property in 5days i was taken aback as i expected up to six month the staff were excellent kept me in formed in all developments very helpful thanks again to lucy bergin who takes care of finalsale and katie rachel and the others now moving to spain with my son after loss of my partner thank you for everything yours samuel

From start to finish the service we received was excellent. The young man who was the initial contact had done his homework. Victoria and Natalie were available at the end of the phone for any requests and were courteous and polite at all times. The whole process was handled very well and efficiently. At all stages the company were pro-active rather than passive, which made a pleasant change from most other estate agents. I would recommend Express Estate Agents and would use them again if the need arose, certainly for selling.

What an experience!!. With being a first time buyer it all felt very daunting to me but at the same time very exciting. Express Agency were extremely helpful in all aspects of the sale, answering any questions very promptly. The viewing was set up very quickly and with the Vendor showing us round i felt i got a better understanding and feel for the property rather than an agent who had no connection. This was a very big plus for me and one i am sure goes along way to helping people choose the right home for them. I was very impressed with the support whilst putting in my offer which made me feel they were equal on both the Vendor and Buyers side. All paperwork was straight forward without hassel and took place whilst i was away on holiday via email. I also used Solicitors recommended by Express Agency as i had one condition to adhere to which was the completion timeframe. All deadlines were met and even with Christmas falling in between all went smoothly and i collected my keys on 4th January 2013.

I am a cash purchaser and have received an absolutely appalling service from Express Estate agency. I have absolutely no idea how they ever sell a a property. Their process for arranging a viewing is over engineered and is not customer friendly. I have made five attempts to arrange a viewing - i've been on the phone all day - each time no one is available to take your call and you have to provide your contact details each and every time. When the 'negotiator' calls back they do not leave the number they called from - you have to call the 'internet call centre number in Manchester' - and all they can do is take your details again and again and resubmit your request to view to the 'negotiator' by email. Absolutely Dickensian service. Needless to say, I would NEVER sell a property with this firm given they have made it impossible for me to attempt to buy one!

Although we were both a little wary of using the Express Estate Agency as we had never heard of them before we are very glad we did.
Lucy has been very helpful throughout the entire prosess keeping in touch regularly to make sure eveything was running smoothly, dealing with any queries we have had and pushing things through at an alarmingly fast rate. We're still a little shocked how quickly things have moved and it hasn't quite sunken in that in just two weeks time we'll be picking up the keys to our first house. Many thanks to Lucy for all you help.
I would highly recomend the Express Estate Ageny to anyone wishing to purchase a property. It's been a thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish.

Lucy was prompt in ensuring that necessary processes were started/completed and regularly checked in via phone to advise or encourage progression at least once a week. She and all other staff i dealt with were polite and upbeat!

I used them but they were not interested once I told them I would not sell at less than £170,000. Presently trying to get them to remove it from various websites. They have a call centre but never ring you back. The valuer does not leave a number and is also not interested aftere you sign up.

The sale of my property went through in about seven weeks.I didn't get as much as I wanted but saying that in todays economic climate it's what I expected.I would defiantly recommend using express agency as it does what it says it's going to do sell your property quickly and efficiently.Thank you all at express agency
