They sold my manufacturing business in Sheffield and I was impressed with how professional they handled it. Compared to the previous agent (who I paid £2,000 up front to) I found them to be honest, hardworking and above all they sold the business for me.

I bought my 1st business through them about 4 years ago and I sold that with them and recently purchased another fish shop through their agents. Compared to other agents I have contacted, they are the only ones to consistently send me details of new businesses and always ring me back.

I had the unfortunate experience of paying money upfront to another agent before discovering Ernest Wilsons. Wilsons took the business on without money up front and ended up selling it for the asking price after only 2 months. My only regret is that I should have gone to Wilsons first instead of using the the other agent who took £750 off me. If I go into business again, I will definitely use Ernest Wilsons again.

Had 3 agents to value my business Ernest Wilson and 2 from Lancashire - Wilsons were the only one who placed a realistic value on business and the only one who didnt want charge me up front - You pay at the end. I had SEVEN viewings within first few days and received a good offer within a month.
Agent keep me informed all way through and kept all solicitors working to get completed. Excellent work and thank you again.

They have a habit of vastly over valuing your business to keep it on their books because they make so much money on advertising it.

Rubbish, my business sold in 1 month and the advertising was included in the commission.
