Whoever recommends this company needs shooting, We had an issue with our roof which has been going on for months, firstly Dinglis refused to even look at our leasehold contract ( even though they own the freehold) and moving onto slamming the phone down on us and not returning our many emails/calls. The issue has worsened and the damaged to our newly decorated interior has worsened yet they have taken more months to get their act together..
THIS ISSUE IS STILL NOT RESOLVED!.
The unprofessionalism of this company is unbelievable which has put no end of stress on myself and my pregnant wife.
I just want this nightmare to end.

Whoever recommends this company needs shooting, I've been trying to raise an issue with the roof of our property for months now, they refused to listen to our issue and even slammed the phone down on us at one stage. The interior is severely damaged due to this issue which they seem not care one bit about.
The unprofessionalism of this company is literally unbelievable, and I'm dismayed that they own our freehold......my wife and i just want this nightmare to end.

OMG! I am shocked reading all the negative comment written about "dinglis" from my experience as a tenant in two different properties for many years they were the best of all with all the service one expects as a tenant. Actually Dinglis make you feel you you are like thier family,they talk to you friendly,send you a new year/christmas card every year,and they also very flexible with furniture you may or may not want in the flat...in short Dinglis is highly recommended!

Like the previous poster, I also had a good experience with Dinglis. The flat was nice and repairs were made reasonably quickly. They also returned our full deposit (which I wasn't expecting after the reviews here!).

We stayed in a property rented by Dinglis for 1.5 years. During all this time, Dinglis provided exceptional service and all employees have been very friendly. For example, we asked them to replace a two seater sofa with a three seater one, and they did so within a very short time. They react very prompty to any repair requests, usually within a day. Before moving in, I found this website (www.allagents.co.uk) and many bad reviews. I am not sure where these came from, but of all four landlords I dealt with in London, Dinglis has been by far the best. They also fully refunded our deposit within a week. Presumably the other reviewers didn't clean their property. I highly recommend Dinglis. And no, I didn't get paid for this review, but I just wanted to set the record straight. :-)

I cannot stress how terrible this agency treat us when we were their tenants! I am certainly not a person to compalin but Dinglis have drove us to the brink with their lying, manipulative and pressurising staff. I could detail all the problems we had with them (some similar to others listed here: people entering unannounced etc etc) but their best was selling the property we lived in without telling us! We only found out it was on the market when a for sale sign was put up outside! Even when you try to speak to them you either get staff who can speak little English and speak to you extremely rudely or they just tell you what you want to hear.
Avoid avoid avoid! I would neveruse this company again and have been sure to tell all my friends not to also!

Dishonest and unprofessional, they're the reason why estate agents / leasehold landlords need to be regulated.

Hard to know whether their greatest sin is dishonesty or incompetence. Depressingly awful; nasty, unpleasant, avoid like the plague.

Absolutely awful! They sent a contractor in to my home without my knowledge or permission who then took items that belonged to me. When I complained I received not apology or assurance that I would get my possessions back or that this would not happen again. When I moved out, they deducted a portion of my deposit for minor cleaning costs, despite the fact that I have still not had my stolen items returned. Avoid like the plague!

I have never felt as scrutinised and untrusted by any person or company as Dinglis made me feel. Everything done is to suit them (repairs on their schedule, phonig to say they are entering property and not asking or giving 24hr notice) and the tenant is treatd like a second rate citizen. Would not recomend them to anyone. A score of 1 out of 10.

I was very dissapointed with my first and last encounter with this agency. Unreliable, waste of time . Couldn't show me the property I booked an appointment to see because 5 mins earlier showed to somebody else. Tried to force me too see another property which I wasn't prepared for due to lack of time. And nobody even had enough courage to admit that they just found somebody else and the flat was no longer available.
