agent did not turn up for viewing of a property. when i called their office they put me on hold for 15 minutes, and then disconnected. when i called back, they said that they would send someone after half an hour.

Overall a good experience with Davis Tate. They valued the house accurately and were polite to deal with. Communication was good and we were always kept up to date. There was a misunderstanding over goods included in the sale but they were good enough to compensate some of the cost.

Despite charging exorbitant fees, Davis Tate offer a terrible "management" service. Once they have your money, it seems that they could not care less. They have no control over the whims of the Landlord and appear surly and unwilling to assist throughout the whole process.
Do not make the mistake that we did - AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Managed to achieve a sale in a month after first marketing the property even though their valuation was higher than most. The sale proceeded to completion smoothly and reasonably quickly.

This is an overdue thank you to all at Davis Tate in Pangbourne. I had previously been trying to sell my house with another estate agency locally with no success. A friend then recommended Davis Tate and I changed. What a breath of fresh air! I wish they had given me this advice before. They did everything they promised and kept me informed at every step. When we found a buyer there were one or two minor problems, but they were on it immediately and resolved them before they became too serious. Nothing was too much trouble.
And now we are in our new home and cannot recommend them highly enough. A really professional outfit.

Agency fees are too high. The fact that i spent the whole day cleaning the property then i have some check out guy who is going to take £105 form my despoit to tell me i missed a few spots is just agonying. I would not recommand the agency to anyone as i have been very unhappy the whole time. Thanks for anything i may as well kiss my deposit good bye. Thanks guys i really needed this money

Friendly, efficient, fast service - nothing too much trouble.
Would recommend without hesitation - really cannot fault their service.

The valuer was excellent, but it was all down hill from there onwards. About 50% of viewers were 'no shows' and it transpired that the agents weren't confirming viewing bookings. Once we sold the house (for well below the valuation) Davis Tate totally lost interest. They didn't chase our (very very slow) buyers for progress and when chased by us they lied about what was happening. Apalling shysters, avoid at all costs.
