I used David Daniels to let my property i found them very professional, quick response with updates letting me know how the viewings where going, also when they found my tenants, they were proffesional workers and have resided in my property 3 years so far with not a single complaint!
I have recommend them to many of my friends and family and will continue to do so!

"Absolutely Terrible. Total Nightmare!!"
I rented a property which was managed by David Daniels, a nightmare from the start. I First viewed the flat which was in total disrepair and in need of many repairs. No window handles on some of the windows, laminate flooring damaged in places, no toiled seats, bathroom floors needed replacing, carpeting needed replacing, needed repainting, door handles missing, washing machine broken, curtain railings broken, I won't carry on could be here all day. Basically looked past all this as i knew once repaired it would be a really nice modern... (read more)

I believed my property was in good hands when i first signed up with David Daniels in 2005. However on my tenant moving out the condition of the flat was disgusting despite receiving quarterly reports that it was in good condition! when i complained to the office, Lee seemed to think it was funny. Really i should not have been surprised as the staff are unprofessional and inefficient. No thorough checks had been taken on the last tenant i had (ie no previous address given). I had to constantly chase for anything to be done, ie repairs etc. I think maybe they manage so many flats they do not care. Please if you are reading this review do not use this agency if you care about your property. They do not know the meaning of the word PROFESSIONAL.
PLEASE SHOP AROUND FOR A BETTER AGENCY I have found one!!! if you want the details let me know

One thing that's quite clear is that David Daniels is not a letting agent or property manager in the classic sense, but a glorified credit controller. They require repeated requests before any maintenance will even be considered, the staff are rude, surly, aggressive and utterly dismissive. If you take issue with any element of their service, the stock response is 'move out then'. If you deal with these people, be prepared to have unfathomable charges rack up against your account, often for changes to the rules they didn't bother to inform you about. They even backdate charges in ways that make no sense at all, but no amount of rational reasoning can ever convince them otherwise. No matter how much you may like a property, it doesn't matter; these people will unquestionably ruin your tenancy there. Avoid at all costs.

Staff were great and were extra friendly. even gave me the time for a cup of tea and a chat when i went to the office to sign contracts. was made to feel really welcome which is something i have rarely come across from other estate agents i have dealt with. was a real pleasure an i will have no problems in recomending them to colleagues and friends.

The rudest and most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. They gave my tenants a really hard time and tried to tell me they were 'problem tenants'. Once I had realised what was going on I sacked them as management (I found their maintenance charges to be OTT and the problems were generally never resolved). Now I have direct contact with my tenant there are no problems whatsoever. I had written them several complaint letters, never once to hear back from them. In desperation I wrote a review on a website - the next thing I knew their previously unheard of 'complaints manager' called to threaten me with legal action unless I took the comments down. Unbelievable. I cannot say loudly enough how much emotional upset and financial difficulties they caused by their bad attitude and sloppy management.

Have used David Daniels in Stratford for the last 6 months and have been very happy with the service.
I had a bad experience with my past agent and they helped restore my faith in estate/letting agents.
My main dealings initially were with the manager Lee who was very pleasant and informative.
Management have been promt and i have since recommended them to two of my friends.

Probably the worst letting agents in UK. Very unprofessional and rude approach to the tenants. They took 4 months to fix a broken door handle and 1 month to provide a washing machine. Never again, even I have to pay higher.

Very slow to attend to problems but always quick to charge for anything they can. They also tried (and failed) to keep a portion of my security deposit without good reason.
I have never known an agency like them and I really hope I never come across the like again.

They are terribly unprofessional, they are rude, and don't care about any fault with your house, they only care when rent is due. They are terrible steer clear if you want a stress free tenancy.

Basically looked past all this as i knew once repaired it would be a really nice modern flat.
The Agent told me the previous owners had done a runner and left the flat in really bad shape and that all these repairs would be done by the time I moved in.
So cool no problem, I took it. Day came to move in, went to the office to get the keys, no not that easy, they needed further documentation. So I was allowed to put my stuff in the flat but could not stay so had to scramble about looking for a place to stay. Talk about unorganised. Got this sorted moved in to find about a quarter of the repairs were done. To cut a long story short, this took weeks of nagging to get them to do the repairs which were really poor . When I moved out a year later some of the repairs were still not done.
Unfortunately that was only the beginning. I asked for my deposit back, but instead got a long list of breakages, yes the ones done by the previous owners which they still had not bothered to repair.
So almost three months later i am still fighting them over this matter where my list of about 15 to 20 accused breakages has gone down to 2. Hopefully this gets resolved soon, but i'm not holding my breath.
I have never come across such a disorganised, unhelpful Company in my life, Absolutely Terrible!!
