   crestons was good to take my money and get me in the property, I rented for 1 yr, its 2yrs on and i still havnt got my deposit back!!! its a lot of money, and i am a student, everything is gone expensive, atleast give me my deposit back so that i can rent elsewhere.

   Crestons have taken 6 months rent!!! and I am still waiting for payment, Crestons estate agents offered me peace of mind management service and charged the roof for it!!! they also charged me for their lettings service, seemed ok at first, i recieved my first payment in the second month, only a few hundred pounds as they deducted thier fee. Now as they have management of my property i decided to leave the country hoping for peace of mind, however since my last payment which was early summer, i have recieved nothing for the next 6 months. so wheres my rent gone? they told me that they had paid me the rent!! I confirmed my account details so I asked for proof of payment, and they can not produce it!!
   Crestons have taken 6 months rent from me, and charged me for management and lettings!!! These people are profesional!!

   Dishonest, unprofessional, lazy. Visit them only if you are in the market for having your money taken for no purpose whatsoever. They seem completely oblivious as to what the role of the agent is, but they will gladly take your money for it. Been waiting several weeks for the holding deposit to be returned after they failed to hold the apartment, and visits to the office were met with "Oh, didn't you get it yet?" Apparently they can't provide proof of the transaction having been carried out, because that's a 'different department'.
   I fell crotch-first onto a narrow railing a few years ago, and that was a more pleasurable experience than dealing with these people.

   terrible team if i could turn the time back i would never used them! got me a tennant who doesnt pay rent on time. They ignoring my phone calls and letters very arogant people ! Didnt received tennancy agreement until today even when the tennant moved in 6months ago feeling to sue them

   Special thank you to Medha, who went over and above her duty, out of office hours to ensure that everything from keys to heating and beds were perfect.

   Crestons seems to be run for the convenience of the staff, not the customers. Here is why:

   1) Appointments - make an appointment in the office and they aren't there. Make an appointment outside the office and they're either 45 minutes late or don't bother turning up. When you call to see what has happened, stories from staff do not correlate.

   2) They ought to write down and sign everything they say - and even that doesn't work. Casual promises are made and on the day the fee doubles. They sign something and then deny it holds them to any agreement.

   I think Crestons as company are quite good as they have dealt with my requirements well, especially when I called their Islington Branch often in regards to letting my property. But even though they sound so busy they make time to ask me how I am and inform me in much detail on the offers they have.

   I would say they are very good agents and they have provided me with exceptional service.

   I found the whole procedure quite relaxing as even though I was on a holiday they had my property rented at my ideal price, and the whole time they kept me informed which is what I really liked.

   In my experience I would defiantly go back but they have let my property for 2 years to a very sweat couple.

   I wouldn't rate Crestons 5 star because they are agents and I don't like fees but because I felt it was value for my money I give 4 stars.

    Crestons were exceptional throughout the entire process leading up to my tenancy. From providing in depth information regarding all properties, to the excellent customer service displayed by their lettings manager, Bobby. There professional attitude throughout, by far made this the best and easiest estate agency that I have ever dealt with....

   The staff are unreliable, often change appointments at the last moment, sometimes did not even turn up and ignore correspondences for weeks on end. This is the most unprofessional and appaling estate agency I have ever experienced. They forget information already provided and are totally clueless about their professional responsibilities. Plus, they never apologised for any of their missed or changed appointments. Incredibly poor.
