   Very impressed with the proactive and professional service of James. I had been searching for an apt for a few weeks with other local agencies, and got very reactive, generic, and a quite uninterested service. Once I connected with James, that all changed with gusto and I had a unit locked down in no time. For me, James is the gold standard for how an agent should be with customers and I will refer all other expats that I know to him. Well done!

   We have multiple rental properties and have been working with County Property Management for about 6 years.
   The lettings department is excellent. They work hard to secure appropriate tenants in a timely fashion and offer valuable advice. At the beginning of "the credit crunch" the market was flat. We had several properties coming on the market at once and they knew it might be tough to get them all let, but they were open and honest and helped us make some important decisions quickly avoiding costly down times.    The advice from James at County on the potential rent value and on the process for a first time landlord was very thorough and helpful. He obviously knows the local market very well and was instrumental in my deciding to use the agency. That was the good part - the rest is mixed....
   The agency's legal ageement is a generic document with some sloppy drafting and should be updated so both parties have clearly spelt out rights and obligations in their specific agreement.
   After the initial contact with a salesperson, the agency then hands you on to a variety of other individuals -all of whom are very pleasant but whose roles aren't clearly specified and who are not always efficient e.g the inventory for a small property had to be checked line by line as it missed off items and although a tenant was found swiftly the negotiation of terms needed intervention from me to push back on what the tenant offered to achieve the rental level advised and sought.

   I have used County Properties to market and find tenants for 4 of my properties. They have been easy to deal with, respond quickly to any query and have been successful in finding 3 tenants so far. From what I can tell in my dealings with them over the last six months, they are more straightforward and honest than any of their competitors. They have helped me with advice and suggestions too. I would not hesitate to recommend them for landlords in the local area.
