I have rented my flat, using Colin Dean as the managing agency, for the last 15 years. I have always found the staff friendly, efficient, and helpful. A couple of years ago I had trouble with a tenant abusing the property to the extent that total redecoration was required. Colin Dean managed to successfully represent me in claiming financial compensation through the appropriate authorities.

I have a small portofoglio of houses in London.Colin Dean Property Consultants are giving letting and management services since 1986.I am living in Turkey and very rare coming to visit the London.I am a civil engineer and very busy with my job in my country. All my friens are asking me ''how to manage my properties these much years without problems in London'' and ''without selling''. They wonder if I am collecting my rent incomes or not.My answer is this:İf you have chance to meet with ''Colin Dean Residential'' You can sleep in comfort.

I have used ColinDean on and off for over 10 years. I have found them to be very professional and experienced in finding new tenants. Also being based in Harrow has never been a problem finding tenants in Watford

I have used Colin Dean's full management service for over 14 years now and they have always been excellent.
In all that time there has never been a problem with their service.
Whenever issues have arisen at the flat they have been taken care of and I have always been kept informed.

I've found the staff at Colin Dean in the main to be very polite, courteous and helpful. Initially when I moved into the property there were a few small issues to sort out, but these were rectified straightaway by the staff at Colin Dean. Since then everything has run very smoothly and I'm very happy with the property I'm currently renting.
I would definitely use them again.

I couldn't has asked for better service, they were consistently there every step of the way and tried their very best to ensure the entire process was easy and smooth, they kept me informed of everything and were professional yet friendly and they worked around my schedule so I will definitely use and recommend to anyone.

Colin Dean Residential have been letting and managing my maisonette for over 20 years. I have found the experienced staff to be friendly and efficient in dealing with matters promptly and in keeping me informed of the progress being made. The team is overseen by a director who is very professional and knowledgeable in various aspects of legislation affecting residential property lettings which helps in ensuring that salient but critical aspects which arise are not overlooked. It is refreshing to find a firm which does not merely subscribe to the idea of providing an excellent service but actually "goes the extra mile" to deliver it I would recommend them to other landlords.

We had a really terrible experience with a very well known estate ageny in watford and thought they were all the same but Colin Dean has proved us wrong.

I have just let my house for the first time using Colin Dean. I found them to be professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They turned up for appointments promptly, answered emails and returned calls in a timely manner. They were happy to step in and sort out all the bits and pieces that needed doing when I ran out of time before moving out. I would defintely use them again.

Colin Dean have been letting our flat for the past 12 months and in that time they have offered us an excellent service. The staff are always polite and friendly, have always offered us sound advice and have behaved professionally at all times in all matters relating to letting our property. In addition, they have acted fairly to resolve any problems that have arisen during the tenancy and in doing so maintained a healthy relationship with both us and the tenants.
In our opinion we have always found the service to be excellent and would recommend them to anyone.

We let our property through Colin Dean in June and found them to be fantastic. They found a great professional family for my 2 bedroom house quickly and at the advertised rental amount. I would not hesitate in using the company again or recommending them as the process seemed to be seamless and hassle free.

As the others said below. If you call about a problem they promise to reply but you don't hear back so have to call again! Takes a while before they get problems sorted if they don't tell you how to sort it over the phone and insist it's your own fault!

Painful to deal with. The agent there insisted on calling me 'mate' constantly. They require an exorbitant deposit to take the property off the market which is accompanied by an almost non workable 'agreement', both of which slow the buying process considerably.

More than keen to get you in the property. Once you're in, they are terrible. When I came to the end of my tenancy they were meant to call me when they wanted to bring people around. On at least three occasions they brought people in without telling me.
Returning the deposit was bad as well - almost a month to return the deposit.
When you call to check they say they'll call you back and of course they never do.Was this review helpful? Yes
