I have just let a property through Claire Lloyd Properties, dealing mainly with Catherine initially and then Liz and now have contact with most members of staff. I am SO truly surprised at how marvellous they all are in their efficiency and professionalism. They really check out clients thoroughly with official reports on the clients viability, and all done through proper channels. I have rented a property from this agent for 8 years and in all my dealings with them have found them very efficient and professional. Any communication is responded to swiftly and if Tara is not available I am contacted by another member of staff and the request/problem is sorted immediately. Quarterly checks are done on a regular basis and any issues raised are dealt with timeously thus protecting me and the landlord. I have had reason to deal with other agents as a landlord recently and did not fully comprehend until this experience just how friendly and efficient Claire Lloyd and her team are. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Kerry (Coyne) was very helpful throughout my checkout from the property, we did had a few gripes with the landlord but Kerry efficiently and effectively sorted these out for me and provided a very good service, would definately recommend Claire Lloyd Properties and infact have had several dealings with the staff over 5 years I rented from them and to name but a few, Tara, Catherine, Hannah and Claire have always been very helpful, but was really impressed with the checkout which was handled very professionally.

I originally listed my property for 7 weeks with another agent however was recommended to use Claire Lloyd. Claire and her super efficient team found a tennant for my property within 6 hours of taking the property on their books. everything was handled proffesionally and explained clearly and precisey. I would without doubt recommend claire and her team and would use them again over any other agent in the town!

We are professional landlords with the majority of our properties over the south east. We generally manage our properties ourselves and find our own tenants. However when we bought a property outside our normal area we instructed Claire Lloyd to find us tenants. We have had two tenancies so far and Claire and her team have found both tenants who have been excellent. While the property was empty between tenancies there was a substantial leak from pipe-work which flooded the property and cascaded out of the side of the building. We have used this agent for over a year in letting our property. Whilst buying a new house for our personal use Hannah Gordon has been a fantastic point of contact in providing us with scanned copies of agreements and letters for our mortgage company. Nothing has been too much trouble for her and she has Provided all information in such a speedy and accurate manner.

Last year I let my property to a DSS tenant who destroyed my property and cost me a lot of money to put it right.
After a lot of deliberation and searching i came across Claire Lloyd Properties. I spoke to there very professionally team and instructed them to find me a more suitable tenant to rent my property.
My new tenant has been in my property for almost a year now and they have been faultless.

i found the advice and support given by clair lloyd properties to be very helpful and supportive which was particularly appreciated as i was not familiar with the search area in question , they also had all the information i required to hand, and i was kept informed at all time stages of the process by liz palmer who i found to very patient and friendly.

Very average service and not worth higher rates. Real lack of communication, constantly needed chasing, plus every time you call in you speak to someone different, so didn't live up to promises. Had to send my own photos in of my flat as theirs were terrible, which they admitted. Biggest gripe is that I feel they were not clear about what checks needed to be done on gas and electricity safety and I ended up paying for unnecessary work that I didn't realise was taking place with a very unprofessional contractor who left an absolute mess in my property. (He also couldn't gain access to the property on the original agreed day as CLP had "mislaid" my keys.) Asked for owner to call me a month ago as I was unhappy with service and amount I’d been charged and still waiting to hear… Not a disaster but wouldn't recommend based on my experience.

Claire Lloyd Properties offer an exceptional service for tenants we found their customer service excellent at all times, all our requests and any queries we had were answered promptly and efficiently. CLP are a great team, we would definately use them again and always recommend them to friends and family.

My first experience of renting having always had my own properties was for me a daunting prospect! Having lived in the local area for a number of years I had heard of the reputation of Claire Lloyd Properties and made my way to visit them. I sat down with Claire Lloyd who explained the process and instantly put me at ease, especially as I am a single parent. Claire was quick to understand what kind of property I would like and within our first meeting arranged a viewing which is now my home. The girls in the office have been brilliant in keeping me informed every step of the way, replying instantly to any questions I have. I would have no hesitations in recommending Claire and her team, who provide an excellent professional yet friendly service!

I have used Claire Lloyd properties now for over 10 years, and I have always found them to be extremely professional in the way they conduct business. If you have any problems within the property they are straight on to it and respond very quickly and the issue is resolved in the fastest possible time. Unfortunately I am moving away from CLP this time as my wife and I are separating and needed a house qucikly but as soon as I can I will look to move back under the CLP wings as I know that from experience I will get the very best service that is on offer in the Aylesbury lettings arena. CLP are truely the most professional and best business to deal with in the Aylesbury area for lettings. I will always recommend them to anybody extremely highly.

I left the RAF in 2010 but needed to stay in the Aylesbury area in order for my daughter to complete her A Levels. After visiting numerous Letting Agents in the area, I opted to use the services of Claire Lloyd initially based on the friendly and informative way they dealt with my enquiry; turned out to be an excellent choice! It was heartening to know that each time I required some assistance Claire Lloyd responded immediately to my telephone calls and emails. They were at all times professional and when it came time to move out they expertly guided me through the whole process, the handover of the house was painless and my rent deposit was returned quickly. It was a pleasure doing business with such a proficient organisation whose employees were at all times courteous and knowledgeable.

I havent actually dealt with Claire Lloyd Properties direct, however I had trouble with another agent that I was using to rent out my property and I went to Claire Lloyd herself for advise and spoke to the girls in her office on various occasions, they were all nothing but professional and helpful even though they had no reason to assist or advise me in any way.

I had heard from many different people that CLP were the best agents around. After a lot of messing around and upset caused by other agents, I did not want to deal with anyone but CLP. Dealing with CLP is always perfect. My calls and emails are always replied to immediately and whoever answers the phone is always polite and so helpful. Claire showed us round the property on the viewing and it was so lovely that she was so interested in our situation and she was always honest and gave us really helpful advice. There was a small leak when I first moved in to the property and a plumber was on the doorstep half an hour later! Brilliant service! I will always deal with CLP, they are so friendly and helpful. Thank you CLP team for all you have done. I'm sure the couple of issues I have at the moment will get resolved very soon.

In settling up our tenancy agreement we were very happy with Claire Lloyds Properties. Everyone was always easy to contact helpful and friendly. The "reference" process was pain free, easy to transfer the deposit online & a professional inventory company used. Based on this I would definately recommend them. Hopefully I can say the same in a years time when the agreement ends.

I have been with Claire Lloyd for 3 years and they are exceptional. Tara Lennon who deals directly with me with regards to the property ensures that any problems are dealt with immediately and with no fuss. All in all a delight and I will endeavour to use them in the future.

Used CLP as a Landlord on a buy to let. Rated them average only due to the standard of letting agents generally being dire. Fro the most part CLP are as bad as the rest, do not return calls. fail to pass on info from tenants etc Sales Manager especially bad, talks arrogantly about her standards but delivers nothing and is quite rude. However given the lack of competition in Aylesbury you may end up having to deal with them. If you do ask for Tara Lennon, she works in the office and gave excellent customer service throughout my dealings with them. Tara is polite, efficient and responsive, it doesn't take much to make a difference does it !

Whilst living in one of CLP's managed properties in Aylesbury. I had a few problems with repairs. Leaks, lost keys, usual tenant issues. After ringing CLP again and again and again to chase the matters at times urgent ones like a toilet that could not be used when my very old mother with bladder problems was staying. They were very slow to resolve. Luckily the property also had its own management facility supplied as it was a flat in a large complex. So I managed to contact the properties facilities department directly.

I contacted Claire lloyd Properties, having seen a property to let in the papers, this was then gone and I was shown another property that was only about to go on the market and they got my requirements 100% right and the property is great and am still there! Their whole attitude from start to finish was impeccable, very professional in considering both the Landlord and Tenants requirements/needs. The whole Team are very efficient and always get back to you and put themselves out to solve any problems in acting as mediator. I then met Claire, who is the perfect person to be at the healm.

Claire Lloyd Properties in Aylesbury is one very small step shy of useless. When my husband and I were moving from Derbyshire to Buckinghamshire we had a fairly short window of time to find a house to rent. We called and booked an appointment to view a house with Clair Lloyd Properties. Claire Lloyd Properties have recently assisted me with letting a property. I am due to relocate to Buckinghamshire from London, which is a new beginning for my children and I. I found staff to be professional, friendly and most helpful with my enquiries and application process. I did have dealings with one specific agent CG who maintained a professional and friendly manner and when she was unavailable various members of staff made every effort to discuss any queries, concerns or general questions I had. I can say thus far that everything has gone through accordingly and am awaiting to move into a lovely property in due course with my children.
I have not had the opportunity to meet the owner and hope to do so soon but would like to thank her and her staff, particularly CG for all your support, kindness, patience and professionalism, I am most grateful and can say that you have assisted my children and I pursuing new beginnings in more ways than one! I would highly recommend Claire Lloyd Properties. In particular, Catherine Gordon has gone above-and-beyond for me in so many ways. I'm self-employed (and only recently, at that), so there were problems with establishing my financial history/ability to pay rent. Catherine went out of her way to help me with this situation, and between us and the landlord we worked out an agreement that suited everyone.
I'm very happy with the property and also with the 'aftercare' service. Even when Catherine isn't available, I've always been treated in a friendly and professional way by whoever else is in the office. I can just drop in any time and be assured that someone will help me with questions or concerns.
I genuinely felt that the staff wanted me to find the right home and be happy there, and you can't ask for more than that.

Arranged an appointmet to complete registration. Whilst sitting in the office staff were talking across me about me as if i wasnt there - very rude.
Very insitent on getting me to pay my cheque and leave as soon as possible as I was told the member of staff had to get home for a meeting and it was inconvinient me being there at the end of the day. I was not late and they were rude.
Also never gave me enough time to read my terms and conditions, again unfair.
Wish I never used this rag and bone outfit all that shines is not gold. And before you reply to this complaint it is still a complaint and your company is well worth kept away from..... Users Beware.

Claire Lloyd Properties have managed the rental of my house for around five years now. We live abroad so it is very important for us to trust and depend on the service offered by the agency. Claire Lloyd has managed to keep the property in rental for the full period and the staff have always managed to solve any of the natural problems that arise with the minimum of fuss. I would recommend their services to anyone looking for a reliable rental agency.

I have been a tenant of Claire Lloyd Properties (CLP) for 8 years. During this time the property has had the usual run of things that go wrong and CLP have always been quick to respond. From the various repairs it is clear that they employ a reliable group of electricians, heating engineers, gas safety specialists and other handymen. There have been occasions when a repair could not be immediately carried out because it involved an expensive repair to the central heating boiler but this was because the Landlord's insurance company insisted on sending their own engineer.

I have been a tenant with claire lloyds for a few years now and i have found them to be very very good, always helpful and polite. When i had a problem i rang them and with-in a couple of hours the land lord was straight around to solve the problem (turned out that i was just thick and could not read the insructions on the boiler). I went round to many other letting agents before choosing CLP to find that they offered the best of everything. CLP is deadicated to there job un-like some of the letting agents in aylesbury (no names given but they know who they are) All in all if your looking for a letting agent this is THE BEST ONE AROUND BY FAR!!!! You are always greeted with smile from a host of beautiful ladys who know there job and will always help and advise you in every way. I will continue to use CLP for as long as im on this planet. I have known Claire Lloyd for over ten years. Claire was my letting agent before starting her successfull business venture.
Over the years I had quite a number of tenants renting my property. Many of them excellent, some of them good and others not so good. Regardless of the situation I have found Claire and her staff knowledgeable, willing to help and up to the job.
I have never received complaints from any of the tenants regarding CLP's conduct or approach and I can only praise Claire and her staff for the way they've always aknowledged my concerns and helped me dealing with all the issues annexed to property rental.
CLP over the years have won many business awards in the area, they know the market and the area, are reasonable and I thoroughly recommend them to both Landlords and Tenants.

Claire Lloyd properties have looked after my property for over 10 years now. They have always been efficient and polite and have given really good advice. When I needed to update the property they did a magnificent job choosing neutral colour schemes and pulling in workmen at reasonable prices. They seem to have a great relationship with the tenants and any problems are swiftly dealt with. It is interesting to have a team of women working on one's behalf - they seem more caring towards the tenants and have often commented when tenants have been particularly nice. Noone likes estate agents but you cannot get better than this bunch. Claire herself is astute but lovely to deal with - she runs a great team of women.

I have been a tennent for Claire Lloyd properties for a number of years now and have found the service to be faultless and extremely professional. THIS RUINED US...AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE.
Young professional couples first move away from mum and dads home with a young boy into a new build 2 bed property. Tthought going with a lettings agent would be sensible but no not really.

I traveled for four hours to view some properties. Despite confirming the day before that the viewings were still going ahead, they did not attend, leaving me with a four hour journey back home.

Real lack of communication, constantly needed chasing, plus every time you call in you speak to someone different, so didn't live up to promises. Had to send my own photos in of my flat as theirs were terrible, which they admitted. Biggest gripe is that I feel they were not clear about what checks needed to be done on gas and electricity safety and I ended up paying for unnecessary work that I didn't realise was taking place with a very unprofessional contractor who left an absolute mess in my property. (He also couldn't gain access to the property on the original agreed day as CLP had "mislaid" my keys.) . We went to the office to fill out the necessary paperwork right away.
The week before we were supposed to move I called to see if they needed any additional information so they could finish the referencing which had not yet been completed. They told me not to worry and that everything would go through in time for us to move in on the planned date. The last two working days before the intended move Clair Lloyd Properties would not answer or return my calls; they never informed me the move in day would need to be changed. At 4:30pm on the last working day before we were supposed to move, the referencing company called to ask us to fax a copy of my husband's contract (which we had on the day of the viewing and asked if they needed a copy- they said no). They eventually completed the referencing the morning we were scheduled to move. Clair Lloyd Properties told us it was not their fault because they contract out referencing to a third party. , so there were problems with establishing my financial history/ability to pay rent. Catherine went out of her way to help me with this situation, and between us and the landlord we worked out an agreement that suited everyone.
I'm very happy with the property and also with the 'aftercare' service. Even when Catherine isn't available, I've always been treated in a friendly and professional way by whoever else is in the office. I can just drop in any time and be assured that someone will help me with questions or concerns.

 for 8 years. During this time the property has had the usual run of things that go wrong and CLP have always been quick to respond. From the various repairs it is clear that they employ a reliable group of electricians, heating engineers, gas safety specialists and other handymen. There have been occasions when a repair could not be immediately carried out because it involved an expensive repair to the central heating boiler but this was because the Landlord's insurance company insisted on sending their own engineer.
Over the years I have got to know numerous members of the CLP staff when they have carried out inspections (every 3 months) and dealt with issues that have arisen. I can honestly say that I have found them to be nothing but professional at all times. They call you back and have even chased me when the ball has been in my court.
I can see that some people have had a rant on this review page but the problems experienced seem to be the fault of the landlord not CLP or else they are unsubstantiated. I imagine that as an agent, CLP are always going to be as good as the landlord, i.e. if a landlord has a low threshold for authorising repairs then that will delay repairs and if they do not have adequate insurance then essential repairs may be delayed.
As an agent CLP can only keep calling the landlord, they have no real power nor funds to carry out work, so ultimately your experience is only ever going to be as good as the values of the landlord. We have all heard horror stories of private landlords, one of the reasons I use an agent is that it usually signals a serious attitude to responsibility in the landlord.
Like some posters here I do not like tenant having to pay certain fees, it is one thing paying for a credit check but a check out fee really should be the responsibility of the landlord. However, sadly this is typical for the industry and all the other agents do this. The way I look at it one can always decline to agree to such terms or factor it in as a cost of renting.
My experience of CLP and Claire herself is that this is the sort of company that I would want looking after my property.

. I went round to many other letting agents before choosing CLP to find that they offered the best of everything. CLP is deadicated to there job un-like some of the letting agents in aylesbury (no names given but they know who they are) All in all if your looking for a letting agent this is THE BEST ONE AROUND BY FAR!!!! You are always greeted with smile from a host of beautiful ladys who know there job and will always help and advise you in every way. I will continue to use CLP for as long as im on this planet.  That I had to complete my term.
1). Understaffed so getting anything done by the lettings agent takes time. Days - weeks - Months
2) I always had to call them and chase them and send emails again and again to get issues that this managed property by the lettings agents to get problems resolved.
3.) Some annoying moments:
