   I have started using Chiltern Hill over the past few years to rent my property.
   I must say, that to begin with, it was quite a headache, as whenever student tenants left, the house was left in quite a state, deposits dont always cover the extensive damage done by inconsiderate students.

   However, having asked them to change my properties to non student living, i have been quite impressed. Rent is always on time, and most importantly the houses are left in good condition with no need to retain deposits and revamp the entire house every 9 months!

   Quite happy with the service all in all, not much more i could ask of them.

   I am a Landlord who has been using Chiltern Hills for two years. Previously, I had let out my property through other agents who in turn let it out to students. I had some very bad experiences where my property was left with cigarette burns in the carpets, broken fixings, hadn't been cleaned upon exit by the tenants (so much so that i had to spend over 600 pounds to get the property in a position to be let again). I was completely disheartened by this experience and didn't want to let to students again.

   I am a new student to the area, i stupidly applied too late for halls and didnt get a space so i was recommended to have a look at chiltern hills, the guys in the office were really helpful and found me a nice room in a property at a good price very quickly, just want to say thanks to chiltern hills for helping me out.

   This is the third year I have been using Chiltern Hills. They were the only agents who take on students and we have always managed to find a place to rent which is clean and in good condition. The guys have always been helpful with any queries or issues we have had. Overall, we (me and my house mates) have been pleased with the service we have received from them and I have recommended some other friends from my home town (Maidstone) who are coming to Bucks to study to use them.

   I'm a Bucks Uni Student and all I can say is that Mr Fidda Shah is nothing but the joy to deal with. They gave me a list of properties that were more than suitable for me and my friends and we were able to move in straight away. The place we moved in was left in a tip, but the team at Chiltern Hills got the placed professionally cleaned within 2 weeks and we moved in within the 2 weeks.

   All I can say is positive things, they made sure our deposits were safely put into a holding scheme and allowed showed me to create a standing order, in order for us to pay our rent on time.

   I look forward to spending the next 9 months and using the service for my 2nd and 3rd year.

   Thanks again Mr Shah, you've made living in High Wycombe so much easier!

   Was looking for a property and I contacted Chiltern Hills. Nice group of staff! Very Friendly and helpful
   Soon enough they helped me find and secure a property to suit my requirements.
   Don’t know what all the negative comments are about, as I have not experienced poor service!

   Do NOT use these people. You would be better off sleeping in a box.
   These people are criminaly incompetent.

   Students talk to each other. So we know there are many, many students having the same problems.
   I'm shocked that the University doesn't warn students about these people.

   There are several reviews saying these people are "wonderful and professional".
   You can guess who wrote those.

   In fact these people are rude, aggresive and threatening. But mostly pathetically incompetent.
   They don't have a clue what they are doing. They are a joke.

    Shockingly poor. They don't know what they're doing. THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY, being all nice and polite, then BOOM, turn into the most unhelpful bunch of amateurs, which from a business point of view makes them look like little boys in a big playground. They don't seem to understand that a deposit is something that should be returned; they have no idea of basic accounts and will lose your payments in the 'system', which is just online banking which they can't use properly, and transfer payments on to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet INCORRECLY.    I would like to say that Chiltern Hills estate agents are excellent with the service they provide. They were polite, helpful and so caring when I had any sort of enquiries. I don’t know how anyone can say any different. There isn’t anything I can complain about. I would definitely recommend these guys to whoever is looking to rent! Keep up the good work guys!!!!

   Me and my friends have been desperately looking for a student house, when we saw some of the properties over the internet and in their office we got very excited at the prospect of so many houses to choose from. However after many, many phone calls and numerous conversations in person with them we finally got viewings for some houses. I don't understand why it took so long to arrange a viewing, they just kept giving us excuses, and carried on advertising properties that were apparently 'already let'.

   I am very happy with this agent's service, I was let down so badly by a couple of other agents who promised me they would finalise a property for me but never did. I was treated with respect and I really felt I was being looked aftered by the professional approach of the staff.

   I would like to stay with this agent for as long as I study at bucks.

   I have had the misfortune to deal with this bunch of cowboys over the past 6 weeks. Unfortunately they appear to be the main/only estate agent dealing with student lettings in High Wycombe.

   My daughter & her friends are trying to find a house to rent. We visited this agents in mid-August - they said they would "book us in" for mid-afternoon. We assumed to talk, get information, run through a list of suitable properties & arrange a selection of viewings. We then received phone calls to delay the time till the end of the afternoon.    Having used Chiltern Hills' services as a student, I feel obliged to leave my thoughts. Having had severely limited experience with renting, and property in general, I didn't think to shop around or try other agents first. What a mistake that turned out to be, and an important lesson learned. Never again will I take things at face value, as although a smiling face and a friendly manner is comforting at first, you expect a similar level of service and care throughout your tenancy.

    We have been very happy with the service that Chiltern Hills have provided. They saved us money their fees were nearly 50% cheaper than the other agents and they treated us very respectfully.

   I had to call Chiltern Hills everyday when I had a problem and they would lie to me about sorting things out. They are rude and selfish. They have been horrible to me during my tenancy causing me to be so stressed and worried about situations. They are not to be trusted.

   Have no idea of how to run a business, are late for appointments and don't have keys to properties they advertise.

   My wife and I wasted our time this evening with these juveniles. They only turned up after we called them and said "where are you" to then be told that they did not have the keys for two properties. The other two they showed were filthy and they had no idea of what the actual rental rate was. It seemed more of "what do you want to pay".

   He had very little time and quickly drove off in his fancy car.

   To sum this agent up, if you are seriously needing to move and would like an agent that is professional and has the ability to listen and deliver, don't use Chiltern Hills, you'll get better service at McDonald's.

   One of the most pathetic agents in HW. I had a tough time getting through with paper work and actually they don't do any documentation. Once they get you as their client, their body language their whole attitude towards you changes. They charge exorbitant amount as rent and surcharges. Pathetic is the word. Please don't go for them!!!

   I am student and am very happy to go to chiltern hills estate an agent. They are one of the very few agents who rent out to students whilst the other agents are very snobbish and look down on us. The maintenance issues have never been a problem they use a dedicated team names surab who are local and get the work completed promptly. Im very suprised that any student would have an problems.. it must have been due to a busy period in christmas when workman are hard to get hold of. I have saved alot of money on fees with chiltern hills and would use them again.

   I don't know if it's just towards students, but the staff bully and scare tenants into paying more rent than they owe.

   Nearly every month I get an aggressive call saying I haven't paid my rent, to which I reply yes I have, and then I have to go down there and prove to them I have, because they can't keep accurate records!!

   Also had a burst water pipe over Christmas, landlord and estate agent were useless, took a week to get a new mattress to replace my old soggy one which I couldn't sleep in and about a month to replace the wallpaper. The sockets have not been checked and they have obvious water damage!

   And worst of all- THE LANDLORD HAD NO INSURANCE!! This is illegal for a landlord and surely should be checked by Chiltern Hills!!

   I would highly recommend not renting with Chiltern Hills, but if you do, check out the landlord thoroughly, and keep a record of when you pay your rent!!

   I cannot begin to express how annoyed I get at Chiltern Hills persistant errors when describing properties. They clearly do well at listing, but nearly every advert has several mistakes in such as 'a quite area' or '950 bedrooms'. I would not use them out of principle I'm afraid which is a shame as they have quickly become a market leader in High Wycombe for lettings recently.
