I found Capital Living at a point in time where I really needed a solution to my living situation. I must admit I was nervous at first but 2 years on I still believe it was the best move I have ever made. Adam and Roy have been fantastic both from a client servicing POV and on a personal level. They have always been polite, professional and responsive with any communication regarding the house. They facilitate a London lifestyle beyond the house too with the events that they organise. Fundamentally my experience with Capital Living have been excellent and I have recommended it to many a friend

I have been a tenant in a Capital Living House for the past 12 months and I am in shock by what I have read on this site about the company. My move and stay has been seamless and perfect for a young girl moving to London alone. The house is lovely and has the wow factor whenever I bring friends round, to a really high specification. Capital living are great at getting like minded people together creating a positive and sociable atmosphere in the household which consequently has made me some friends I will have for life . If there has ever been any issues, once reported to Adam or Oana they are dealt with immediately. I have recommended the company to friends and when I move back to London, I will be in touch with Adam again and hopefully there will be rooms available. Really great company/ houses/ staff and area and Concept that makes living in London so great and easy.

I relocated from Australia in December with my job and was finding it terribly difficult to find quality, clean and modern accomadation through sites like gumtree etc. I did also want to live with other people to build friendships here in London as i knew knowone so looking for 'share houses' was even more difficult.
A colleague recommended Capital Living as he had a friend who had a wonderful experience. I jumped online and checked out their very helpful website and made a call. It seemed this would suit me down to the ground. Being a young professional i did not have time to search and... (read more)

Really enjoyed my 3 weeks stay. Ringmer is like a home from home, a great alternative to a hotel. Loved being able to cook a meal in the well equiped kitchen. Fantastic service from all at CL. Many thanks again!

Two adjectives immediately come to mind when I think about Capital Living: seamless, and reliable.
Upon moving to London from New York City, my friends and colleagues informed me the housing process would be painful. Needless to say, they could have been more wrong. It would be difficult to find someone more responsive than Adam, and I am still thankful for the effort she devoted to ensure my transition went smoothly. I am thrilled with my decision to utilize Capital Living, and would recommend their services to any of my friends or family, and actually did to my company with future expats. Not to mention I have made some life long friends with some of my house mates.

I am a current tenant at 12 Ewald Road in Fulham.
I moved down to London at the beginning of April from Bristol. I only had 2 days to search for a new place to live before my new job started. I originally set out to rent a small studio flat for a few months as I am planning on living with old university mates come August. After viewing 4 or 5 places that were extortionately expensive considering what was being offered to me, I decided to change my tack and started to explore the shared accommodation rental market. I did a couple of viewings and didn’t really like what I saw until an... (read more)

I rented the top floor room. It was very clean, spacious, bright, with all mod cons, a lovely comfortable sofa and large flat screen tv including a skyplus box which was an unexpected added bonus! The bedroom was comfortable and warm. Bathroom was clean, well decorated and had a good shower with good water pressure.
It is in a great location too and not far from local amenities which is great. All i can say is don't hesitate to book this place as i will be doing this again very soon.

I would rate my stay at the Capital Living property at 68 Ringmer Avenue probably one of the best i have stayed at in a longtime, baring in mind i travel and work in London most of the time and normally stay in high class hotels but staying at the Capital Living property had such a more relaxed homely fell to it. The on site house keeper was very welcoming and frienly, the staff member Roy Goff was very helpfully and provided me with everything i requested before booking my stay.. The house is always clean and tidy, the breakfast starts nice and early till late morning, everything you need for an overnight stay or even a weeks stay is all supplied and included in the cost which again with the hotels i have stayed in this is an additional cost.. i would nost definitely stay there again! Highley recommened!

I had the absolute pleasure of being a guest at Ringmer Avenue for one evening after a busy and hectic time in London full of meetings. After a long day I was greeted by a very friendly Babs who gave me keys showed me to my room and made me feel extremely welcome explaining how things worked. It was wonderful to be able to feel at home somewhere with my own room and en-suite with the added bonus of a home-made breakfast in the morning. I also met with Roy who was staying there as was another tenant and everyone was very friendly. I found the whole experience fantastic and hassle-free so I would recommend this service to anyone needing somewhere to stay in London. I was convenient, worked to my time-frames and to stay with like-minded people was a plus! The rooms were exceptionally clean and tidy and I could see there was great pride taken with the upkeep of the property. You felt it was a home-from-home and the people at Capital Living were fantastic and most accommodating.

I had an excellent 6 months living in one of the Cl houses (one opposite the sands end pub) . I have recommended it to many of my friends and 2 are now renting with CL and they love it.
I am still friends with the people I used to live - and had met the manager a few times - even at the (AMAZING) CL Christmas party. We are still good mates and even met up for a beer last month.
The service is great - any problems we had (i.e. the washing machine stopped working a couple of time) it was either fixed that day or the next morning.
the manager did ask me to write an honest review on here as he thinks there is someone posting malicious reviews?
all i can say is that EVERYONE i have met from a CL house loves it.
Just thought Id give my 2cents.
James

It is not often that one finds a company that is as novel and full of unexpected surprises as Capital Living.
One great thing about CL is the great personalities that you meet in the houses and I have had the good fortune of living in two different houses now and have met some really great people.
Another great thing about CL is the efficiency of the CL team, if you having any problems or issues within the property you are in, they are dealt with swiftly and in a professional manner.
CL is a great option for any professional looking for a house share in prime south west London locations, as all the houses are of a very high standard. I would honestly recommend CL to any one who is a bit wary of house sharing.
Alas there is nothing left for me to say except, DON'T LEAVE before the CL complimentary Christmas Party, it is Awesome!!!!

I've stayed in several of Capital Living's properties, short and long term and have always found both the service and standard of housing to be excellent. Whenever there is a problem, no matter how minor, a repairman is always on site within a few hours and they are always very courteous. The house is kept to a really high standard by the cleaners and repair staff and Adam (the manager) is always very friendly and accommodating. This is the same experience for all of my housemates, and it speaks volumes that not only are capital living's houses almost entirely occupied but many people stay with capital living and move to different houses; I know this because of the great social aspect of the houses with Christmas parties etc. I find these negative reviews extremely odd and suspicious...

Capital Living are absolutely useless. Really rude to tenants, incapable of fixing maintenance issues (or any other issues) and way too expensive for what you get.
I (and my housemates) have had many issues with our house and spoken to Adam and Oana on many occasions and the issues are never resolved. The houses are pretty on the outside but an absolute nightmare to live in. Avoid Capital Living at all costs - they are friendly until they have your money - then you're on your own!Was this review helpful? Yes

Absolutely awful. I am a tenant with Capital Living and I really wish I wasn't. Unfortunately I am tied into a 6 month contract with them now.
They are wonderfully helpful and friendly when you are viewing properties with them but as soon as they have your extortionate deposit, holding fee and first month's rent they are rude, arrogant condescending and just plain useless.
I have had so many maintenance issues with the property and every time I contact them I am made to feel like I am hassling them or I should just live with these issues. For the amount of rent they charge this is... (read more)Was this review helpful? Yes

I have been trying to get hold of capital living for several weeks, I had left several voice messages and had sent a text which did get a reply but I did not get a reply from the second text.
When I emailled Adam did not acknowledge that I had left messages or that I had sent a text even though he reply to it?? In fact the email almost accused me of lying.
Once I had finally got through to them I was told that I should give them a deposit so that I would get the best chance of securing a room due to the olympics, I explained that this wouldn't be possible as if they didn't have something suitable I would lose my £300 deposit. Adam basically talked down to me and ignored my concerns that if I had a hard time contacting them to start with what would it be like once they had taken my money.
If once I am ready to move I see a house I like when I am ready to move I may contact them again however I will specify that I will not be willing to deal with Adam as he is unprofessional and rude.

Very proffessional sounding website, really liked the sound of them and their ethos and I arranged to view one of their proerties a few days ago... There only seems to be 1 young sales girl called Amy running the whole show.
She seemed very pleasant, I viewed the property and it was a very nice place, well furnished and nice surroundings. Amy advised there was another viewing 3 hours later and if I would like to go for it then to text/call her ASAP so I could put down a £300 'reservation fee'.
Within 1 hour I text her to let her know I would like to reserve the room, no response, 3... (read more)
