   I endured the worst experience by (regrettably) choosing Cairds in Epsom to help me through the process of renting for the first time - never again.

   Aside from being pushy, disrespectful and incompetent at the start of the process, they falsely accused me as the reason for their actions towards the end.

   After a lengthy process of Cairds employees accusing me of fraud and attempting to take my whole deposit and an extra months' rent from me, an independent adjudicator confirmed the fact that they were wrong and I was right. Consequently, I got my money back from these people.

   All I can say is - get absolutely everything in writing, and be extremely cautious, especially if you're new to dealing with estate agents like I was.

   n.b Their spelling is atrocious. All correspondence arrived with a different spelling of my name, every time. Still haven't decided whether this was pure incompetency or pure disrespect. Either way, that in itself proves what kind of establishment they are.

   I have Cairds a very professional estate agent to work with, particularly Len Taylor. He was extremely helpful and informative. He listened to what we need and sort to meet those things. I would definitely look to find a house through Len in the future.

   Began rental process, few odd mishaps made me wary, spoke to a friend who'd used them before and heard bad things. Thought better of it and tried a different agency! Be careful.

   From start to finish, we found dealing with Cairds a pleasure. We mostly dealt with Maria who was always polite, professional and friendly. Any issues arising were dealt with swiftly, even if they were not really within the remit of an estate agent.

   In an industry which doesn't have the greatest reputation, we found Cairds to be a breath of fresh air!

    From the start a very professional team, excellent communications. Paul made our listing stand out with great photos of house, Maria was very proactive in chasing up progress with solicitors etc.Refreshing approach - would highly recommend.

   Cairds are the best agent in Epsom by miles. Simon was spot on with his valuation and advice, and Sue Boardman is without doubt the best negotiator in the area. Her follow up which is so important is a1, especially when as we all know solicitors are probably the least efficient part of the process and have to be led by the nose. Brilliant thanks!!

   We would not hesitate in recommending Cairds Ashtead. They recently sold our property and provided a friendly yet professional service which made us feel like truely valued clients. Everybody in the office made an effort to know who we were so whenever we contacted them we had someone to talk to. We have sold property in the past and have found it frustrating keeping the estate agents in touch, however it was the complete opposite with Cairds, they kept in frequent contact and always kept us up to date. Ten out of ten!

Without question, Cairds of Ashtead and their staff have been the most efficient, helpful and dedicated, not to say extremely professional, in selling our home for us.
