In all my years in London, I have used several agents, and found BullmanBooth to be a cut above the rest. I rented several properties with them and it was always a professional and correct service. I did not start out with them, and after the nightmares I had with a national chain, I found that their local knowledge and network put them a cut above the rest. They know their area, they are professional, and the owner has a hands on approach.

Long time happy tenant!
I first met Philip about 8 years ago when he showed us a great flat on Harbut Road. Unlike most of the agents I've dealt with, I found him to be quite helpful, upfront and easy going, without ever being pushy or too salesy (don't you hate it when they tell you about the million applicants that have already made an offer on the place and to get in quickly?!).When I moved into another flat managed by them, they had the decency to waive their admin fees and generally made the changeover process (deposits, check-in/out etc) as easy as... I would strongly advise anyone from letting via this agency. Since we moved out of our property they have been an absolute nightmare. Aside from all of the normal agency pitfalls of charges for seemingly everything, they have not refunded our deposit for 3 weeks. When they finally did give us a quote for damages they were charging for items not mentioned on the check in/ check out report - and charging extortionate prices.
The deposit has had to go to dispute and they are now claiming that they had calculated our rental amount incorrectly and we owe them more rent as well. Everything has been handled in a very unprofessional manner and the 2 members of staff that we were dealing with both walked out of their jobs midway through the disputes.
STEER CLEAR!!!!!

The staff there do not think outside the box and are a little anal. Prompt service although not much flexibility.

When I moved into another flat managed by them, they had the decency to waive their admin fees and generally made the changeover process (deposits, check-in/out etc) as easy as possible.
This sense of decency and helpfulness also carries through to the team at Bullman Booth. Little things such as letting my cleaners pick up the key from them each week, always checking with me first before entering the property and getting a new boiler installed without my having to request it.
In those 8 years, I have only had to go to Bullman Booth about 3 or 4 times re serious issues such as a leaking ceiling from the above apartment. On those occasions, they were brilliant. They acted immediately, gave me updates regularly without me ever having to chase them for one and most importantly, got the issue resolved quickly with minimal fuss.
