I have been buying/selling/letting properties in London for 15 years and during a recent development project took a short term let through Brinkleys. The staff were some of the friendliest I have come across. One of the strengths of Brinkleys is the fact that all of the offices are local, unlike most London agents who have a local office, then management in another city, and finance in another city again. Despite a landlord who was difficult to reach, Brinkleys remained motivated and dealt with everything as promptly as possible keeping me informed throughout the process.

Everyone who helped with the letting of my property was efficient, pleasant and made the job painfree.Brinkleys are genuine and honest which is refreshing to find these days! I wouldn,t hesitate to recomendthem or use again in the future. Five stars!

This was our first experience of selling a home, and compared to what I have heard from others, this was a very easy, honest, and enjoyable experience. We could probably have not asked for better! they always knew what was happening with all other parties involved (i.e. solicitors, local authority etc.), which I feel is a very important attribute. They very much held our hand through this challenging process and supported us whole-heartedly, being very easily approachable, but also supportive and empathic too. Our sale was completed in just under 3months, from the point of accepting the offer. Without a doubt, I would give them 5stars for customer service, and would highly recommend them.

I'm very impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of the staff at Brinkley's. They worked very quickly and did a great job in finding good tenants for me. Everyone was very pleasant to deal with and I will definitely use them again.

Brinkley's found us a Tenant very quickly, with prospective Tenants viewing within hours of receiving our instruction. More importantly offered a realistic deal for resigning the Tenant a year later and did not try to charge a full year's fee as some national estate agents try to.
All in all efficient , profesional operation which delivers results, and I never thought I would say that about an estate agent!Was this review helpful? Yes

Professional Service ! ! ! After really bad experiences with different estate agencies I had the best luck to pass by Brinkley's agency on Putney High Street.To be honest i choose them randomly.I was in need of an answer regarding my problems with the past agency so i just entered in their office searching for some advice/help.They helped me without even knowing me and from that moment I knew that this is 'my agency'.So thank you Brinkley's . Have to say they are REALLY professional in what they are doing.I'm renting a property from them and whenever a problem occurs, with just a phone call to Brinkley's everything is resolved.The property manager is always there if anything bothers you and they are always responding via e-mails,being really quick.From my experience with Brinkley's I would honestly recommend them at any time ! ! !

I was very impressed with Brinkleys service from the first meeting - they always arrived promptly to appointments, all the staff I dealt with were genuinely friendly, any issues I raised were dealt with quickly, and all for a very competitive fee. They rented my flat out within a week of it going on the market. Overall very pleased with the service, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to other landlords and tenants alike.

I have let my property twice with Brinkleys. I also use their management service. Brinkleys found tenants within days which I was impressed with. The management service is also very good. They are efficient, professional and polite and courteous. I can get in touch with then easily and I am very happy with the service they have provided me since 2010.

Brinkleys were a very good agent. They found us our perfect property very quickly and we were able to move in straight away. They were very considerate when we were moving out of the property and forwarned us when they were showing prospective new tennants around.

After speanding hours and days of home hunting with no luck and dealing with unreliable and time waisting estate agents, at last I left my luck at Brinkley's hands and I did really well. Right from the start, I felt really safe for the reason that these guys are actually Active. They helped me out from the actual process till finalising and they were on top of new properties coming over. They have been really informative, reliable and created an ongoing relationship even now I have already moved in to the flat. These guys really want clients to find the place they want according to their needs and preferences. That was interesting and impressive. I am confident enough to suggest that they are 100 % professionals.

Didnt return my three phone calls and when we viewed the property they didnt have keys and there was noone staying in the house so couldnt even view the house we were meant to see - what a waste of time! Then we were shown another place a car trip away and the driver drove like a loonatic, actually speeding up to jump over the speed bumps and got lost on the way so a 5 minute trip ended up taking 20 minutes. Finally after viewing a place which didnt fit our needs at all the agent left us at the house without even offering a lift back to the office! We had to find our own way home!!! Totally unprofessional, rude, arrogant and incredibly unhelpful service 0/5

Recently moved to Putney from Herts, great people to deal with, made the whole experiance palatable (lets face it moving home is a fairly harrowing job) the referencing was online and easy, I was kept informed all the way especially about the security deposit and rent (rent 1 month in advance, deposit = 6wks rent). All went smoothly. Good teamwork.

We went to view a property and we explained our situation to the agent who was with us. It was 4 of us looking to move in however only 2 of us were full time employed at the time as other couple was not in the UK yet. We told him that they will be coming to London in a week and a half and that by the time we move into the property we all be full time employed as one of them had a job secured already and he would be given the contract straight away after his arrival to London. Agent assured me that I will get the flat definitely. Told me to pay the holding deposit right away.. I was stupid enough to believe him and paid in the holding deposit.. After a couple of weeks, without any explanation ail comes through saying that the landlord refused my offer ... All this started 15 August2011 today is 21September 2011 I still didn't get back my holding deposit.. Called head office lots if times, agent itself called him and text him , barely any response xxxx if you can avoid them

they took our £300 deposit because we didn't wanted to take a flat that they would give it to us with the cooker broken (when we saw it they said that it will be fixed), with a wash machine that "it's working" but it's doing a horrible noise, they didn't wanted to repaint the flat as long as there at the moment a smoker and a child are living etc.

I bought a property through Brinkley's and I am very pleased with all their efforts.
They were always very curtious and were never un reliable.
They were on hand to help were always helpful.I would happily recommend them to anyone!! :)

I am an overseas Landlord with properties in and around Wimbledon, Brinkleys Wimbledon Park manage my properties for the past 2 years and I must say compared to others they have been amazing. Would refer to anyone.

These company does not look after its clients.
During my two year stay evey time I asked for something to be fixed they take over 2 months to get back to me and then and the end of it the nothing happens.
Do not use them... I will be reporting the service to the Office of Fair Trading.
I now want to move out and it looks like i well still be living in a disgustingly broken down house.

I've explained that the other agencies told us we'd need 3 months bank statements and that we obviously will not be able to provide those, but he said that it was not going to be a problem.
We have also asked when exactly we'll need to pay the rent and if it is only a few days before the moving date and he said yes. I double checked if we pay only fees and 6 weeks deposit now and the rent definitely few days before we move in and he said yes. So we went straight to the office and paid a holding deposit. We were not given any receipt but he assured us that it is ok and he gave us "his" mobile number saying that we can contact him directly if we have any problem (i will get back to this later).
Within a couple of days he sent us a contract which was saying that we have to pay all those money within a week! I contacted him straight away and he said that it is ok to pay deposit now and rent in 2-3 weeks but it wasn't the same thing he told us on a viewing. I emailed him back and reminded him what he told us before and that we could pay the rent no sooner than in 3 and a half weeks (as agreed) and asked him if that is ok. He did not reply.
Next day we were contacted by the referencing company but they told us completely new information wich was that we need a guarantor (UK based earning more that 43 500 annualy) and if we do not have anyone we would need to pay 3 months rent in advance. Never mentioned before! So we basicaly failed the references.
So I emailed him again reminding him again that he did not inform us about this and that he told us something totaly different on the day of viewing but he did not reply again! So we called him on the number he gave us as "his number" but with a surprise, it was NOT HIS number but his mothers! How embarrassing! So his mum told us she would call him and give him our number but he never called back! So we called to the office few times where he finaly answered. We asked him about our holding deposit as this is not that we are pulling of just like that, but we were misleaded, he did not tell us the truth and did not inform us about the most important things! He said that they will not give it to us back because "WE lied to him" - basicaly he started completely making things up saying such things as that we told him we were all full time employed (absolutely impossible as they were not here yet) and so on.. Basicaly he started lieing about what we have said.So I've asked him for his managers number and he gave me the number to the "Head Office". If you'd like to guess, that wasn't a Head Office number but number to the referencing agency where they told me they have nothing to do with this. So I called him back and he said to me that I called a wrong number so he gave me a number again and repeted twice. And guess what?! No head office!!! Referencing agency again and I felt very embarrasses in front of them and angry as well so the lady said she will call him! But guess what?! He never got back to me! Not even after I called him back again in half an hour and lef message for him with his colegue!!!
So what I would advise?? NEVER DO ANYTHING WITH BRINKLEYS ESTATE AGENTS!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND MISLEADING! IF YOUR AGENT GIVES YOU HIS MOTHERS NUMBER, IT SAIS ABOUT SOMETHING.

the people that are working at Wimbledon park branch they were really rude, Lee the agent that had to show us the flat he was 30 mins late and because a costumer was waiting at the door he didn't tell us a lot of IMPORTANT things because he was in a "hurry"!!!!!! Really bad experience with them and even if they said that in no tenancy fee well....there is......
