    I rented a two bedroom apartment with this agent. I vacated the apartment in Feb'09. It has been 8 months but they have not returned my housing deposit. Now a days they don't even pick up my phone or return my email.

    I would never recommend this agent to anyone. At the same, I would like your help to understand the options I have to get my deposit back.

    Not redigestered, illegally evicted my family, no rent arrears or complaints. Kathleen Storey used a pretend baliff changed locks on house and made us wait three days to get our belongings, tree days with nowhere to go with a seven year old child. Trading standards are trying to help. Just avoid this company at all costs. The worst time of my life.

    Beware of renting through this agent!
    Rented a 3 bed house from them and all initially all seemed fine, a year down the line and started getting eviction notices from the mortgage company because the owner was defaulting ( Owner turned out to be best lets). Advice from 'Best Lets' was to ignor it!!
    Bailiffs gave us 2 weeks notice to move out which is not easy with three kids and having already paid advance rent.
    Tried to get back my rent money and deposit(Before deposit protection scheme) but just got fobbed off or hung up on.
    Went to court and won but still not had anything back.
    Disgusting treatment of a family that kept the place immaculate and always paid their rent on time!

    I used this company after having a property with two other agents for a while. This company let the property within 10 days for a higher price than either of the other companies were advertising it for. I found their staff to be honest reliable and most helpful. I am staying with them for all my lettings.
