base property specialists was established in London in 2004 by An Deckers and Kristjan Byfield. Our vision was to build a multi-faceted London property agency delivering far more than your typical London estate agent. base provides a full range of property services to meet all the needs of the London residential property sector, be it houses, flats or apartments. The ethos of the company is simple: to offer the Best Customer Service.
Property Lettings and Management has always formed the core of base and we have now developed a wide range of additional property services that set us apart as a London letting agent. These include: next day furniture, interior design & refurbishment, property maintenance, property finance and professional inventories for all types of accommodation.
With excellent customer service at the heart of our business base property specialists has been able to grow organically through referral and recommendation. This commitment has resulted in base becoming one of the most highly acclaimed estate and letting agents in the UK.
At base we believe strongly in professionalism and therefore, in an industry that often carries a poor reputation, we have undertaken vetting, training and examinations to join the UK’s leading, voluntary regulators. We are Licensed Members of both ARLA and NAEA and are member agents of TPOS, TDS and SAFEAgent.
Our company operates from our offices in the heart of Shoreditch Triangle in Central London EC2. From this City location we are able to offer our services London-wide and do so for clients across the capital. We are, however, also very passionate about our local areas of Shoreditch, Hoxton, Brick Lane, Old Street and Spitalfields- and not just the beautiful properties here. The team at Base Property have managed our rental flat for several years and consistently found us a high calibre of tenant as well as dealing with the issues which arise during the tenancies in an efficient, pragmatic and extremely cost effective way. I would recommend them whole-heartedly, both to prospective landlords and tenants, as they work fairly with all parties. I would not hesitate to use them again and only wish they would open another branch in Berkshire!

The team at Base has successfully and efficiently let my rental property for the past two years. I am using them again this year and will continue to do so in the future. They offer a friendly, professional, hassle free service which, let's face it, is rare these days. I would highly recommend them.

Base consistently exceed my expectations. I have used them for over 6 years they find great tenants and achieve top rentals. I've not had a void period or unpaid rental or dispute in the time I've used them. I often recommend them to friends.

We decided to work with Base after we rented a property from them whilst we were looking for a house to buy. At that stage from a renters standpoint we had met countless agents trying to find a property in SE London and we were utterly unimpressed with every other agents lack of professionalism. Most agents didn't even listen to us properly when we told them what we were looking for.
So three years later when we were in a position to become landlords we went straight to Base. Even though we were in SE and there were neighbourhood agents closer to us we felt that they would provide the best experience for renters. Little did we no that they were equally good from a landlords perspective.
In the two-and-a-half years that they have managed our property for us they have been a pleasure to work with. The rents are always deposited on time, any wear and tear to the property is promptly dealt with and my tenants are as happy as I am.
I highly recommend Base. Especially over the local letting agents in Greenwich and Lewisham.

I have been with Base Properties for 2.5 years - they go the extra-mile, are always friendly and are a good mediator between the tenant and the (in my case very difficult) landlord.

Base Property Specialists have managed my property for 7 years now and have given an excellent service during that time.
They have on many occasions gone over and above their what was expected of them and I have recommended them to all my family and friends.
It is rare that you can find an estate agent that meets this standard.

There are not many agents that provide a completely "hands free" experience, but Base are one of them. I thoroughly recommend them for their professionalism, consistency and value for money. They manage an apartment for my partner and I in a block that has had a few issues of its own and yet they have always ensured that the apartment is tenanted. They have a rare ability to keep both landlord and tenant happy for the majority of the time, which is no mean feat!

I bought a flat for rental from a pervious owner that was looked after by Base. She gave me glowing praise about them and over the past 3 years they have been fantastic. They care, keep you well informed and act on issues promptly. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

I have now been using Base Property now for 3 years, they are excellent. They are prompt in paying my money into my account, minimum charges, instantly calling and emailing me with updates or problems which they have.

I have been using Base for the last 6 + years. I am very satisfied with their services. They are very professional, attentive. I am located overseas and have the confidence in Base to let and manage my properties, I have no worries or problems with the lettings and management as I know that I am in very experienced hands. I cannot praise Base enough. I would also like to praise An for the efficient and professional manner she handles my account.

I have used Base repeatedly to let my property. They deliver exceptional service and are an agent I can trust. They provide a personal service that for me goes beyond the bounds of their contract with me. I know that if I have problem I can ask their advice and it is given willingly. They have found me good tenants quickly and always ensure that the appropriate checks are done.
I have also used Base for a full property refurbishment with a tight budget and they delivered a stylish modern finish within budget that enabled me to increase my rent significantly.
