I can only say good things about the Letting Agency Atkinson and Keene in Windsor.
AK found us our first flat and when our landlord decided to sell the flat we had to find a new house which was stressful for us as we didn't know when the flat was going to be sold and not easy at this time.
AK kept us up to date with new properties and the new house was found quick.
If you expect great customer service call Vicky at AK in Windsor. Vicky knows how to do great customer servie which you cannot find very often anymore!!

Have used Atkinson + Keens in Maidenhead for many years in the letting of my flats.Hannah is a credit to the organisation, Always very helpful and diligent in selecting new tenants for me and solving any problems that may occure. I do recommend A+K to my friends for the very attentive service you get from Hannah and her team.

The agency is very attentive, efficient, helpful and quick to respond.
Negotiations are fair and decent . Very nice staff, Vicky and Sam in particular were nice to talk to.

Hannah has been more than just an agent to me. She has been a real supporter of me as a tenant and have at times been a real confident when I've vented some frustration about the house I was renting. Two years ago the rental market took a dip and my equivalency of what the market was offering was heavily challenged. Hannah was able to negotiate my rent down by 18%. It is unfortunate that the landlord did not utilize the services offered by Atkinson Keene, as from my perspective it became increasingly difficult to communicate with the landlord who lives in Australia. Without a consistently scheduled house inspection, the landlord insisted that I spend some money getting his yard up to 'his' standard. If inspection did occur on a regular basis by the agency, this could have been avoided.
I believe Hannah is a real ambassador for the agency in Maidenhead. I cannot say the same for every single person I have dealth with there. Hannah is outstanding and the company should be very proud to have her.Was this review helpful? Yes

All the staff at Atkinson & Keene ( Romans ) were excellent during the sale & purchase of our new property.
We Had several problems during the sale and purchase of various houses but Gemma Gibson who was my main contact was very good and was never going to give up during this stessful time. if Gemma was not available when I telephoned she would keep all the other staff up to date and they could always answer my questions and then when available Gemma would follow up with a phone call to keep me fully advised at all times .

From initial contact with this Agent I was impressed by their can do attitude. I called last minute requiring a same day appointment which I received with their letting department. I was very impressed with their friendly staff; I was called and asked if I wanted to come earlier as they were free. This I did, my wife and I loved the property. we thought for 1 hour and placed an offer. This is when we met Gemma Gibson who was a very professional agent. Gemma was with us on our second viewing. She really was very good at keeping all parties moving towards a goal and was honest throughout negotiations between all parties. She was very good at getting in the car on the phone and sorting out any issues with a diplomatic style. Gemma Gibson was a real pleasure to deal with I would advise anyone within their footprint to use them and ask for Gemma specifically.

Jamie was very helpful from start to finish and as I had never sold a property before I needed all the help I could get
He kept me informed of the progress at each stage and I cant speak to highly of him it made everything so easy for me

By far the worst company i have ever had the displeasure if delaing with .
Knowingly let a property due for repossesion - Not there problem when the baliffs arrived
Lied on many occasions anout work that would be carried out
Transferred deposit back to wrong bank account
Lied again and avoided calls
Peter Fuller , a Director ? never calls back or responds to emails
Staff highly self opinitiated and spend time failing to return calls , taking the piss out of there customers or shopping in town when they are on suposed appointments .Avoid at all costs

I found Atkinson & Keene to be hard working, dedicated and professional in all aspects of my dealing with them. They worked tirelessly to find me a second buyer quickly when my first buyer appeared to be pulling out. They acted in my best interests at all times and kept me up to date throughout. I could not recommend them highly enough. Without Gemma and her team my property would not have sold and my purchase would have fallen through. Thank you to all at Atkinson & Keene.

We actually attempted to sell with them but removed our property from the market without accepting any offers with them.
The agent who visited our place was very complimentary and thinking back, this was probably a smooth strategy to get the business! The viewings were scarce, the service slack for an agency that prides itself in providing a personalised service (eg. branch window not updated with up-to-date information on the properties, pressurising to accept offers that well under the asking price etc) so much so that my husband and I could not really see the point of paying a surplus for the agent fee when the service AK provides is the one any estate agent could provide.

We found Atkinson and Keene to be a very very firendly and helpful company to do business with. They managed to take the stress out of selling, and purchasing, our properties and always worked hard on our behalf whilst keeping us calm and putting a smile on our faces.
