This is about the fourth or perhaps fifth time I have used this office for purchases. While I have not always been satisfied with Andrews as Letting Agents, I am always very satisfied with their service as Sales or Purchasing Agents.
In particular, I have had excellent service from Rosie and her predecessor at Newbridge, and now from Matt at George Street through whom I am selling the first of two let properties.
He is knowledgeable about the local market, with facts to back up what he says, he always goes the extra mile and works long hours, does what he says he will and keeps me informed about what is going on.
Above all, he has the experience, professionalism, and, at times, necessary assertiveness and tact to deal with any difficult negotiations and situations that arise. His communication skills are first class.
He acts on my behalf and I completely trust him to do so in my best interests.
I would thoroughly recommend this agency for purchases and sales, although I thiink the fees of solicitors they refer clients to include a rather high referral fee.

I had booked for a valuation of my property on Saturday 21 April 2012 with a member of staff named Michael. We had a long discussion about current market conditions and price of houses in Mitcham area. I then asked him to send someone for a valuation that same evening at 4.30 pm. I was told that someone called Kieran will be coming. I had also specifically stated that if for any reason his staff is not able to come to my property that someone gives me a call.

The drop down menu for capacity used does not cover intended purchase which fell through!
Despite the fact that I decided to pull out because of a surveyor's report, the staff at Andrews could not have been more helpful. From the initial contact, we experienced early alert of proposed properties, in depth knowledge of the area, enthusiasm and helpfulness. We were regularly contacted and the potentially difficult conversation when I informed them of our decision to withdraw was handled sympathetically and without any bad feeling.

Kate Wadsworth from Andrews Estate Agents in Bristol is the most professional Agent I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Kate went that extra mile and I was definitely astounded by the professionalism and courteous customer service Kate provided. Kate marketed my property (with lots of helpful advice on colour schemes and positive alterations), sold my property in under 3 weeks of it going on the market and kept me fully in the loop without me having to bother Andrews at every step of the way. The feedback from Kate from potential buyers was very realistic and wasn't unduly positive, hence no false hope. Kate would telephone or e-mail early in the morning and late at night - what dedication!! Kate is a breath of fresh air and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Kate made the whole process a pleasurable experience! I would highly recommend Kate and wouldn't deal with anyone else now in the future.

Professional, courteous and thoroughly helpful. Met with me at the property on numerous occasions (mostly out of office hours) after sale had been agreed (but before completion) to enable me to take measurements, get building quotes from tradesmen etc., and nothing was ever too much trouble
Mortgage advice was also very helpful, and rates competitive, and I did in the end also arrange my mortgage through the branch.

We were very pleased with the professional manner that the team at Andrews in Redhill dealt with the sale of our home. Samantha Webb, Assistant branch manager of the Carshalton (London) branch was very friendly and cooperative to begin with, as with all agents wanting to sell, but did use some pushy tactics in trying to secure my reservation. When she managed to negotiate a 7% reduction on the price with the seller, I thought we were off to a great start. Sarah Carpenter was very informative and helpful in all telephone and face to face conversations
We had with her. What I found especially excellent service was her weekly catch up telephone calls
this was extremely good customer service. I didn't have anywhere near that level of service from the Estate Agents
I used to sell my own property (which I was paying for).
I also felt very comfortable in the knowledge I could ring Sarah at any time and she would always deal with call courtesly, effectively and friendly.
Overall Sarah's ability and customer service was excellent. I would also like to take the opportunity to say that everyone I dealt with at Andrews Bath I was extremely satisfied with.

When we initially decided to sell our house back in March 2011 we invited four agents to come round and value it for us. Of the four; CJ Hole undervalued it by £10,000, Kendall Harper were just a bit too schmoozy (and overlooked blantant problems around the house), a third agent was based too far away (although the cheapest option) and finally Andrews; Stewart Oliver came round and was friendly, confident, and well advised about the current market. We were badly let down by our first Agent and wasted 3 months with them. A change to Andrews proved much more active and ultimately successful. The house was more widely marketed and attracted 8 viewings. These were conducted by Andrews' staff so we had less to concern us. After each viewing we received immediate feedback which,in turn, led to modifications to improve the appeal of the house.It was sold in September and we relocated in December 2011.The whole process was well run and we were kept fully informed throughout. I would like to make a special mention of the Office Administrator Pat Crews who managed the paperwork and made this aspect of the process very simple and easy. Thanks Pat! We found that all the staff we dealt with were pleasant and knowledgeable. We would not hesitate to recommend this branch to others seeking to sell a property in the Abingdon area.

I would highly recommend Andrews in Wallington, and James Conner in particular, following the successful sale of a flat in Wallington. James (& all his other colleagues that I spoke to) was consistently professional, polite and knowledgeable. I bought and sold the same house through the Abingdon Office. In both respects, I have been exceptionally pleased at the friendly, honest approach to business, and client management. When the recent sale stalled, the staff (most notably Pat Crews) dived into the mess, negotiating with both solicitors, and the local council and surveyors. I trust them all, and the email traffic and regular phone calls helped keep me abreast of proceedings, and pending decisions. Top job, resulting in one very happy customer.

Before instructing agent and after instructing agent the customer service given was excellent. The marketing of the property was also excellent along with the friendly, helpful and caring manner when communicating given by the staff at the branch. There were hiccups along the way on our onward purchase that were stressful but Andrews helped where possible to calm our fears and reassure us that it would be resolved and they where. They went the extra mile to assist us in dealing with these issues when they arose.
I would have no hesitation in using them again. Thanks again to all the team at the branch.

I would strongly recommend Andrews Estate Agents, Redhill. After having a very bad experience with a local competitor, I appointed Andrews who provided regular contact, viewings, feedback, everything you would expect from a well organised and professional Estate Agents.
They went one step further than others I have dealt with and were very influential in seeing the entire chain through on the move in date.
Paul Mulligan and Branch Manager Jason were just two of the agents I dealt with and both offered an excellent service throughout. I also used Andrews in house mortgage consultant who was very helpful.
Top marks all round and I would strongly recommend to anyone looking to buy and sell within the Redhill area.

The service I received from the staff at this Branch Andrews was superb. I spoke to Deborah, Torey and Matthew who were always friendly, welcoming and were always happy to update me honestly and informatively.
I had more dealings with Matthew, as I presume he was 'in charge' of this property. Again he was always happy to help and answer my impossible questions. He returned calls when he said he would and would always update me on the next stage or phase.
I would definitely use this branch again if the situation arose and sing the praises of these three members of staff in particular.

From the very first moment Simon Amon (manager) visited my house to complete a valuation on my property, I felt assured that using Andrews as my estate agent, was the right choice. Simon's sales delivery was honest, clear and factual. He made me feel like I was important from the outset and that I would receive the best possible service from the branch.
I received my property details within the timesframe promised by Simon and within days I had a number of viewings. I believe that everyone in the Wallington branch did their upmost to promote my property and thankfully it sold quickly.
Simon and his team kept me up to date with any changes and were always happy to spend the time to answer my queries. My sale went through without any complications and I believe this was due to the commitment of the team.

We found all our dealings with James @ Andrews excellent throughout our house purchase. People told me that moving home was both very stressful and difficult, but this was smooth sailing all the way! We recently sold our home via ray and the Team at Andrews Coulsdon. They approached us as we had been trying in vain to sell our house through another agency.Like most we thought that all Estate agents were the same, but we were proved wrong. They took time to prepare the property for the market asking us along the way what we want and how we wanted it. We actually felt that they were working for us not just out to make money. They raised far more interest in the property and got us several offers something the other agent couldnt do in the 3 months they had the property. absolutely terrible!! tried to give 6 months worth of rent up front with deposit and asked them to reduce the £305 admin fee as clearly the contract was paid in full and there was little admin to do. They said no, not at all and never ever got back to me over weeks trying to sort it all out. very poor comms and very unhelpful staff = idiots - il take my £5k + elsewhere shall I !!!!!!

Andrews staff were polite and courteous at all times. They always returned phone calls, kept us updated by phone every week during a long and protracted time to sell our property. They knew the properties they had on their books and were able to direct our purchasers to our particular property as they were very aware of both the buyer's requirements and what our property had to offer. Despite having to take the property off the market at one time due to hospitalisation they kept their word regarding the Commission rate charged.
We would highly recommend Horley Branch of Andrews.

Felicity Parker was recommended to me and both she and Julia Garrod were excellent.
Felicity was open and frank with regards to its value and the state of the market, and whilst elected to advertise it at a higher price, its sale price ended up being exactly as per her original estimate.
A buyer was found quickly, and all negotiations and ongoing dealings were handled very well. I'm living in Australia so being able to rely on Felicity & Julia to keep on top of things and keep me updated (including on Bank Holidays when their office was shut) was great .

I would like to thank the wonderful Sarah Carpenter for all her help - and patience in our recent purchase of a beautiful but run down maisonette in Bath. Although it had lots of potential, the property was in a very sorry state and required a lot of renovation work. The banks surveyor failed to see its worth and downgraded the value to such an extent that we were forced - albeit unwillingly, to re-negotiate the price. Sarah's calm and positive manner kept the deal together and meant that everything could proceed relatively unhindered. We are most grateful to both Sarah and the vendor for their support.

Beware this agent for property management!We are a young family who are letting out a property in Bristol for the first time. We chose Andrews as a letting agent as they were very large. We are paying 15% management fee and the service we receive is extremely poor. They send in contractors against our instructions and then charge us for it, and very rarely respond back to any phone calls or emails we make. I would STRONGLY advise steering clear of the Streatham branch. We were selling our flat through them, and also had an offer on a flat we loved. Ten weeks in, they let slip that the flat we loved had actually been sold nine weeks earlier, and they had delibrately not told us. we even asked specifically on a number of occassions if there were any competing offers, if we would be told if any came in - told clearly every time that it was still for sale, no other offers and we just ahd to sell our own place to proceed. Complaint to their manager, Noel Howard, completely ignored why we were unhappy and accused us of having a grudge with them?! Awful with giuving feedback on viewings, never gave any advice on our price and didn't know their way around the flat despite a staff member living their once! Awful awful AWFUL!!!!

I purchased a property in Yate Bristol in January of this year. I had one week only to view properties because we live overseas. Mike Bristowe from the Yate branch was extremely helpful during the viewing process, not rushing us at any point and not wasting our time showing us properties that he knew we would not be interested in. We had expressed our likes and dislikes with regard to area, sunny back garden etc., and he came up trumps. I found staff at Andrews in Bath to be dedicated and hard-working - the staff all helped to keep me informed about my sale and always called me up as promised. My buyer's solicitor was web-based which caused a huge drag in the process but the Andrews staff were persistent in following up progress and also kept cheerful!

Five star service without a doubt. When Rosie Marlow from Andrews, Bath Central Office first came to view the property I had for sale, she immediately came across as very professional, friendly and trustworthy.
She worked quickly and efficiently and had the property advertised in the newspaper only 3 days after receiving my instructions. She kept me informed of viewings and offers received throughout the short time the property remained for sale, and so did Rob when Rosie was not available.
Rosie stayed involved throughout the conveyancing process, and kept things moving, which achieved completion only six weeks after receiving the offer.All in all a good experience, and I would use them again and recommend them to anyone.

I had a very good experience with Andrews through the purchase of my property. The viewing process was flexible and viewings were arranged at short notice and the offer process (by Rob) was handled professionally with updates being given regularly. What was most impressive was the engagement after the sale was agreed. Throughout the conveyancing process Rosie was involved, keeping things moving and liaising between myself and the vendor on small issues that would have taken ages through the solicitors! Overall a good experience.

I dealt with Vince Whitfield. I found that the branch had a great selection of properties. I could always get an appointment to see properties promptly, Vince was always prompt, professional, courteous and efficient. Once I found the property I wanted Vince worked hard in answering questions and he basically made the deal happen simply by being efficient , not salesman-like. I will definitely use Andrews when I come to sell and I will ask for Vince to lead the sale although from my brief experience of the rest of the team i think that they are as good.

The service they gave me was always exceptional. They responded to my queries promptly, and if they promised to get back to me then they always did.I even found out that I had completed from them before my solicitor had informed me!

I have got to be one of the happiest people in Bath - and much of that is thanks to Sarah (and Lucy and all the others I spoke to during the purchase of a beautiful flat). Whilst attempting to buy property through them, they did everything to actively *discourage* me from buying it. Simple questions took more than 24 hrs to get a response and two reasonable offers took 24 hrs and 7 days respectively to get a response! Even then I had to constantly chase them to get an update. Eventually I was informed that there was another interested party and the vendor would accept the best offer. When I asked what the vendor's deadline for offers was, the agent seemed confused by my question and said he'd get back to me, which, naturally, he never did. In hindsight, I now realise I was being 'played', although I'm not sure to what end, as in the end I got fed up and walked away so the vendor lost a potential purchaser. At best this was simple incompetence; at worst, sharp practise.

We have used Andrews as they are honest, customer orientated and very helpful in all aspects of selling a property, we have been selling during a difficult time and it has made the whole process easier for us. This particular branch of Andrews is helpful, friendly professional and to us, the service did feel personal and genuine. We felt as thought they really cared about finding us our next house and were really pleased and happy for us when we did.
Keith (Assistant Branch Manager) is outstanding in terms of his customer care, patience and professionalism. As too is Tony - we always felt like they really knew what was going on rather than blagging it!
They have the biggest profile in the immediate area so as well as Andrews being a big hitter in Bath, they are definitely the ones to sell with in Newbridge / Weston.
They also value fairly and are honest and realistic whilst quite clearly working for your interests. From our experience, I would trust them and would recommend them to others looking either to buy or sell.

The previous review of the Bishopston branch could have been written by us! The staff worked really hard to chase all the parts in our chain when we were being messed around by our vendor and managed to help us retain our buyers despite pressure from them. They were really good at keeping us informed and the staff that deserve a special mention are Tori, Matt, Donna and the Manager Stuart.

They are very rude and unprofessional - they confirmed to us they would show us three properties. We live quite far away from Purley and we were running a bit late. When I told them we would be twenty minutes late, they got really aggressive and told me they would not be able to show any property on that day (turned out that they only arranged one viewing for us). They never rearranged the viewing for the first property, but arranged a couple of viewings for the following day.

Absolutely awful. The manager (Carey) was very patronising & did not seem in the slightest bit interested in whether the sale was progressing even when my own buyer pulled out after many warnings as the process was taking too long. When I got a new buyer & put a revised (only slightly lower) offer in, I was told the seller wasn't making any money on the property at the price i was offering - like the downturn in the market is my fault?! Anyway I was fed up and didn't want to lose my second sale so I pulled out altogether, as it turned out they did me a favour as the housing market has since bombed! I would never ever go near them again and would think twice about buying from them even if the house of my dreams was for sale through them

Moved home a week ago and I must say that having bought and sold many homes before, I was impressed, VERY Impressed! Kept in touch, gave honest and solid advice and did what I asked. Sold the house without fuss! When I can face moving again I will, without doubt use Andrews Longwell Green again.

Unfortunately I used Andrews Estate Agents to sell my house. I would never recommend these people, not even to my worst enemy. They should get a grip and deliver a basic level of competence! Dont use Andrews Estate Agent! Steer CLEAR!

We employed Andrews Estate agents to sell our home. BIG mistake! We've had to do all the chasing because they've refused to update us. They've done nothing but sit on their A@!@ and done the very little.
They are very hostile - especially the Manager Jayne Wood - I read another review today where she actually swore at a customer. Not professional!
Avoid like the plaque! Next stop - Ombudsman!

, sold my property in under 3 weeks of it going on the market and kept me fully in the loop without me having to bother Andrews at every step of the way. The feedback from Kate from potential buyers was very realistic and wasn't unduly positive, hence no false hope. Kate would telephone or e-mail early in the morning and late at night - what dedication!! Kate is a breath of fresh air and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Kate made the whole process a pleasurable experience!  branch was very friendly and cooperative to begin with, as with all agents wanting to sell, but did use some pushy tactics in trying to secure my reservation. When she managed to negotiate a 7% reduction on the price with the seller, I thought we were off to a great start. But then the problems started when after 28 days we still did not exchange contracts. She confronted me during my second "snagging" trip as the on first one with her colleague we ran out of time. Her intimidating, rude and presumptuous attitude with accusations of my and my solicitor's lack of action caused me to believe that I was guilty on my part that we had still not exchanged contracts, and that my solicitor was taking too long. It didn't stop there, as she effectively threatened that we "had to exchange contracts in the next 48 hours" and that I had to consult and instruct my solicitor to return the contract. This was all of insignificance when I clarified with my solicitor that the reason for delay was because up until this stage the seller's solicitor had still failed to understand, cooperate and meet the requirements stipulated by my mortgage lender in order for my mortgage funds to be released. Not only that, but their solicitor had continually replied stating the requirements were unnecessary or already met. When prompted by my solicitor for them to point out exactly where in the contract and lease these clauses were contained, they acted like childish ignorant and unprofessional people, pointing out to a clause which bore no relevance to my lender's specific requirements. Furthermore, they categorically stated that they do not believe the requirements were needed and were thus unable to amend the lease. At this stage the agent, Samantha called up regularly to keep chasing me to return the signed contract and when I told her of the problems that we faced with the seller's solicitor, she pretended to try and help and that she was willing to tell them to do work together to resolve the problems. At this stage I was already fed up with their unhelpful, sarcastic, stupid games so asked my solicitor to write back demanding that the seller returns my reservation deposit, seeing as they are unable to meet my lender’s requirements and therefore there was no other choice for us.
Within minutes, they responded instantly, almost as though from re-birth as another person, and offered to change the lease, if I was still interested in buying. Of course I had already made up my mind, but was unwilling to state that I would like to withdraw from the purchase for fear of losing my deposit. This happened just before the Christmas break and the situation was quite dire, in that I was led to believe based on the reservation form that I signed, that if I pulled out I would lose my money, but if the seller withdrew he would return the money. However a week later during viewing of another new build property, I found out about a Consumer Code for Home Builders which all new home builders, so long as they are registered with an approved warranty provider, such as NHBC, they have to abide by this Code. The Code states that in the event that the buyer withdraws from a house purchase during the period in which the reservation is still in force, i.e. it hasn’t expired yet, the seller must return the deposit less reasonable costs incurred (in e.g. legal costs etc). Now of course, I did not know about this because both the seller and more importantly, his estate agent, i.e. Andrews but more specifically our assistant branch manager, Samantha Webb, had failed to disclose this. The worst thing is that the Code very clearly states that the seller must directly or indirectly through his agent make the Code available any prospective buyer before they make any reservation! How messed up is that? What kind of misconduct and ignorance is that for an estate agent who is supposed to have all these awards as a company and an agent who has all these “qualifications” behind her name! For me, this is simply pure incompetence, dishonesty and unprofessionalism in all directions. What really annoyed me most was the encounter and ordeal I had during that second snagging visit with her attitude towards me, treating me like a child, despite knowing that I was a first time buyer, and basically trying to lecture me on how I should deal with my solicitor as a paying customer. Well I’m sorry Mrs Webb, but perhaps next time before you start lecturing and telling someone off, intimidating and patronising them with your sarcasm, and making untrue allegations, you should do your homework first, find out more about your industry than the buyer (e.g. regarding the Consumer Code) and find out the truth first as to what is causing delays.
Despite a few other minor problems, I can categorically pin the loss of the sale to the seller on Andrews and I hope they have better luck next time trying to sell the property. I confirmed I was withdrawing from the purchase at the beginning of the new year; more than one month on now, the property is still on the market, as are 3 other flats (out of 11) of the same development. This is of course contrary to what Mrs Webb had stated on several occasions that flat no x, y and z had all sold and completed. More lies and lies! That’s all I have to say. Stay clear of Andrews is my advice and under no circumstances deal with the Carshalton branch whether you are looking to buy, sell or rent! Stay well away! I also felt very comfortable in the knowledge I could ring Sarah at any time and she would always deal with call courtesly, effectively and friendly.
Overall Sarah's ability and customer service was excellent. I would also like to take the opportunity to say that everyone I dealt with at Andrews Bath I was extremely satisfied with.

, a third agent was based too far away (although the cheapest option) and finally Andrews; Stewart Oliver came round and was friendly, confident, and well advised about the current market. In addition to that Stewart was honest about the blatant faults with our house, he sensitively addressed the fact that they could affect the sale price and in time, what he said became very true.
Once we had signed contracts with Andrews Bishopston branch, Victoria LeMeasurier (Tori) became our contact there. Tori really has been amazing; always available to talk to, always positive and extremely helpful. She has given us good advice and acted as go-between for us and our buyers on many occassions. She is an excellent estate agent.
Throughout a turbulent year our sale fell through twice - through problems further up the chain. Each time Andrews have responded quickly and professionally and found us new buyers (three during the course of seven months). We have had plenty of viewings and good offers so I really feel that they have earned their commission.
We exchanged contracts yesterday and move tomorrow, quite sudden really considering how long it has taken us to get to this position (eight months).  visited my house to complete a valuation on my property, I felt assured that using Andrews as my estate agent, was the right choice. Simon's sales delivery was honest, clear and factual. He made me feel like I was important from the outset and that I would receive the best possible service from the branch.
I received my property details within the timesframe promised by Simon and within days I had a number of viewings. I believe that everyone in the Wallington branch did their upmost to promote my property and thankfully it sold quickly.
Simon and his team kept me up to date with any changes and were always happy to spend the time to answer my queries. My sale went through without any complications and I believe this was due to the commitment of the team.

. They never rearranged the viewing for the first property, but arranged a couple of viewings for the following day.
Unfortunately our car would not start on that day, and I contacted the agent that we would not be able to come. Today I received a voicemail message saying that they would not arrange any further viewings for me and that they would take off my name from the register, as I did not go to see the properties. I would understand them if I did not call them at all and ignored the arranged viewings but I left a voicemail message (nobody answered calls as it was Sunday) and sent them an e-mail explaining the situation (I was quite upset about the car not starting up). They just told me to contact them if I would not be able to go to see the properties and they never explained to me that they would remove my registration if I cancel the viewings. The voicemail message was really rude, as if I had done something wrong, while they just did not do their job properly.

 was very patronising & did not seem in the slightest bit interested in whether the sale was progressing even when my own buyer pulled out after many warnings as the process was taking too long. When I got a new buyer & put a revised (only slightly lower) offer in, I was told the seller wasn't making any money on the property at the price i was offering - like the downturn in the market is my fault?! Anyway I was fed up and didn't want to lose my second sale so I pulled out altogether, as it turned out they did me a favour as the housing market has since bombed!
