This is about the fourth or perhaps fifth time I have used this office for purchases. While I have not always been satisfied with Andrews as Letting Agents, I am always very satisfied with their service as Sales or Purchasing Agents.
In particular, I have had excellent service from Rosie and her predecessor at Newbridge, and now from Matt at George Street through whom I am selling the first of two let properties.
He is knowledgeable about the local market, with facts to back up what he says, he always goes the extra mile and works long hours, does what he says he will and keeps me informed about what is going on.
Above all, he has the experience, professionalism, and, at times, necessary assertiveness and tact to deal with any difficult negotiations and situations that arise. His communication skills are first class.
He acts on my behalf and I completely trust him to do so in my best interests.
I would thoroughly recommend this agency for purchases and sales, although I thiink the fees of solicitors they refer clients to include a rather high referral fee.

I had booked for a valuation of my property on Saturday 21 April 2012 with a member of staff named Michael. We had a long discussion about current market conditions and price of houses in Mitcham area. I then asked him to send someone for a valuation that same evening at 4.30 pm. I was told that someone called Kieran will be coming. I had also specifically stated that if for any reason his staff is not able to come to my property that someone gives me a call.

The drop down menu for capacity used does not cover intended purchase which fell through!
Despite the fact that I decided to pull out because of a surveyor's report, the staff at Andrews could not have been more helpful. From the initial contact, we experienced early alert of proposed properties, in depth knowledge of the area, enthusiasm and helpfulness. We were regularly contacted and the potentially difficult conversation when I informed them of our decision to withdraw was handled sympathetically and without any bad feeling.

Kate Wadsworth from Andrews Estate Agents in Bristol is the most professional Agent I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Kate went that extra mile and I was definitely astounded by the professionalism and courteous customer service Kate provided. Kate marketed my property (with lots of helpful advice on colour schemes and positive alterations), sold my property in under 3 weeks of it going on the market and kept me fully in the loop without me having to bother Andrews at every step of the way. The feedback from Kate from potential buyers was very realistic and wasn't unduly positive, hence no false hope. Kate would telephone or e-mail early in the morning and late at night - what dedication!! Kate is a breath of fresh air and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Kate made the whole process a pleasurable experience! I would highly recommend Kate and wouldn't deal with anyone else now in the future.

Following a period with no offers they worked with me to decide on what value to reduce the price when it was reoffered.

Throughout the process, however stressful and complicated it became, both offices worked tirelessly together to ensure we didn't loose the house we wanted. The staff at Redhill were always polite, helpful and professional at all times.

Professional, courteous and thoroughly helpful. Met with me at the property on numerous occasions (mostly out of office hours) after sale had been agreed (but before completion) to enable me to take measurements, get building quotes from tradesmen etc., and nothing was ever too much trouble
Mortgage advice was also very helpful, and rates competitive, and I did in the end also arrange my mortgage through the branch.

We were very pleased with the professional manner that the team at Andrews in Redhill dealt with the sale of our home. Staff were professional at all times, kept in regular contact with us, gave feedback on all viewings, arrived in good times for viewings and kept us up to date regularly as the sale progressed. A lot of thought and time went into the photos used for the marketing of our property - the results were lovely. We would thoroughly recommend Andrews.

Samantha Webb, Assistant branch manager of the Carshalton (London) branch was very friendly and cooperative to begin with, as with all agents wanting to sell, but did use some pushy tactics in trying to secure my reservation. When she managed to negotiate a 7% reduction on the price with the seller, I thought we were off to a great start. Sarah Carpenter was very informative and helpful in all telephone and face to face conversations
We had with her. What I found especially excellent service was her weekly catch up telephone calls
this was extremely good customer service. I didn't have anywhere near that level of service from the Estate Agents
I used to sell my own property (which I was paying for).
I also felt very comfortable in the knowledge I could ring Sarah at any time and she would always deal with call courtesly, effectively and friendly.
Overall Sarah's ability and customer service was excellent. I would also like to take the opportunity to say that everyone I dealt with at Andrews Bath I was extremely satisfied with.

When we initially decided to sell our house back in March 2011 we invited four agents to come round and value it for us. Of the four; CJ Hole undervalued it by £10,000, Kendall Harper were just a bit too schmoozy (and overlooked blantant problems around the house), a third agent was based too far away (although the cheapest option) and finally Andrews; Stewart Oliver came round and was friendly, confident, and well advised about the current market. We were badly let down by our first Agent and wasted 3 months with them. A change to Andrews proved much more active and ultimately successful. The house was more widely marketed and attracted 8 viewings. These were conducted by Andrews' staff so we had less to concern us. After each viewing we received immediate feedback which,in turn, led to modifications to improve the appeal of the house.It was sold in September and we relocated in December 2011.The whole process was well run and we were kept fully informed throughout. I would like to make a special mention of the Office Administrator Pat Crews who managed the paperwork and made this aspect of the process very simple and easy. Thanks Pat! We found that all the staff we dealt with were pleasant and knowledgeable. We would not hesitate to recommend this branch to others seeking to sell a property in the Abingdon area.

Right from the very start both Felicity and her team at Andrews were excellent in their approach when selling my property. They constantly stayed in close communication with regular updates and honest feedback from the many viewings they secured. Their drive and passion for ensuring I sold as promptly as possible accompanied by a strong focus for obtaining the best sale price was evident throughout. I would highly recommend Andrews in Wallington, and James Conner in particular, following the successful sale of a flat in Wallington. James (& all his other colleagues that I spoke to) was consistently professional, polite and knowledgeable. He was excellent in keeping me informed of the progress of the sale, very prompt in providing feedback from viewings, and following an offer being accepted, was very useful in keeping the sales process moving, liaising between myself, the buyer and both sets of solicitors when needed.

I bought and sold the same house through the Abingdon Office. In both respects, I have been exceptionally pleased at the friendly, honest approach to business, and client management. When the recent sale stalled, the staff (most notably Pat Crews) dived into the mess, negotiating with both solicitors, and the local council and surveyors. I trust them all, and the email traffic and regular phone calls helped keep me abreast of proceedings, and pending decisions. Top job, resulting in one very happy customer.

Before instructing agent and after instructing agent the customer service given was excellent. The marketing of the property was also excellent along with the friendly, helpful and caring manner when communicating given by the staff at the branch. There were hiccups along the way on our onward purchase that were stressful but Andrews helped where possible to calm our fears and reassure us that it would be resolved and they where. They went the extra mile to assist us in dealing with these issues when they arose.
I would have no hesitation in using them again. Thanks again to all the team at the branch.

It didn't stop there, as she effectively threatened that we "had to exchange contracts in the next 48 hours" and that I had to consult and instruct my solicitor to return the contract. This was all of insignificance when I clarified with my solicitor that the reason for delay was because up until this stage the seller's solicitor had still failed to understand, cooperate and meet the requirements stipulated by my mortgage lender in order for my mortgage funds to be released. Not only that, but their solicitor had continually replied stating the requirements were unnecessary or already met. When prompted by my solicitor for them to point out exactly where in the contract and lease these clauses were contained, they acted like childish ignorant and unprofessional people, pointing out to a clause which bore no relevance to my lender's specific requirements. Furthermore, they categorically stated that they do not believe the requirements were needed and were thus unable to amend the lease. At this stage the agent, Samantha called up regularly to keep chasing me to return the signed contract and when I told her of the problems that we faced with the seller's solicitor, she pretended to try and help and that she was willing to tell them to do work together to resolve the problems. At this stage I was already fed up with their unhelpful, sarcastic, stupid games so asked my solicitor to write back demanding that the seller returns my reservation deposit, seeing as they are unable to meet my lender’s requirements and therefore there was no other choice for us.
Within minutes, they responded instantly, almost as though from re-birth as another person, and offered to change the lease, if I was still interested in buying. Of course I had already made up my mind, but was unwilling to state that I would like to withdraw from the purchase for fear of losing my deposit. This happened just before the Christmas break and the situation was quite dire, in that I was led to believe based on the reservation form that I signed, that if I pulled out I would lose my money, but if the seller withdrew he would return the money. However a week later during viewing of another new build property, I found out about a Consumer Code for Home Builders which all new home builders, so long as they are registered with an approved warranty provider, such as NHBC, they have to abide by this Code. The Code states that in the event that the buyer withdraws from a house purchase during the period in which the reservation is still in force, i.e. it hasn’t expired yet, the seller must return the deposit less reasonable costs incurred (in e.g. legal costs etc). Now of course, I did not know about this because both the seller and more importantly, his estate agent, i.e. Andrews but more specifically our assistant branch manager, Samantha Webb, had failed to disclose this. The worst thing is that the Code very clearly states that the seller must directly or indirectly through his agent make the Code available any prospective buyer before they make any reservation! How messed up is that? What kind of misconduct and ignorance is that for an estate agent who is supposed to have all these awards as a company and an agent who has all these “qualifications” behind her name! For me, this is simply pure incompetence, dishonesty and unprofessionalism in all directions. What really annoyed me most was the encounter and ordeal I had during that second snagging visit with her attitude towards me, treating me like a child, despite knowing that I was a first time buyer, and basically trying to lecture me on how I should deal with my solicitor as a paying customer. Well I’m sorry Mrs Webb, but perhaps next time before you start lecturing and telling someone off, intimidating and patronising them with your sarcasm, and making untrue allegations, you should do your homework first, find out more about your industry than the buyer (e.g. regarding the Consumer Code) and find out the truth first as to what is causing delays.
Despite a few other minor problems, I can categorically pin the loss of the sale to the seller on Andrews and I hope they have better luck next time trying to sell the property. I confirmed I was withdrawing from the purchase at the beginning of the new year; more than one month on now, the property is still on the market, as are 3 other flats (out of 11) of the same development. This is of course contrary to what Mrs Webb had stated on several occasions that flat no x, y and z had all sold and completed. More lies and lies! That’s all I have to say. Stay clear of Andrews is my advice and under no circumstances deal with the Carshalton branch whether you are looking to buy, sell or rent! Stay well away! I also felt very comfortable in the knowledge I could ring Sarah at any time and she would always deal with call courtesly, effectively and friendly.
Overall Sarah's ability and customer service was excellent. I would also like to take the opportunity to say that everyone I dealt with at Andrews Bath I was extremely satisfied with.

, a third agent was based too far away (although the cheapest option) and finally Andrews; Stewart Oliver came round and was friendly, confident, and well advised about the current market. In addition to that Stewart was honest about the blatant faults with our house, he sensitively addressed the fact that they could affect the sale price and in time, what he said became very true.
Once we had signed contracts with Andrews Bishopston branch, Victoria LeMeasurier (Tori) became our contact there. Tori really has been amazing; always available to talk to, always positive and extremely helpful. She has given us good advice and acted as go-between for us and our buyers on many occassions. She is an excellent estate agent.
Throughout a turbulent year our sale fell through twice - through problems further up the chain. Each time Andrews have responded quickly and professionally and found us new buyers (three during the course of seven months). We have had plenty of viewings and good offers so I really feel that they have earned their commission.
We exchanged contracts yesterday and move tomorrow, quite sudden really considering how long it has taken us to get to this position (eight months).
