Amberley Estates has not joined our 'transparent agent' scheme yet.
"If only I had known about this site before.." the most common comment we get posted from reviewers that have had a bad experience. So in response, allAgents has introduced a consumer awareness scheme to help identify agents that are open about independent customer feedback. This scheme is VOLUNTARY & FREE for agents to join and as an incentive, allAgents will provide them with FREE LANDLORD & VENDOR ENQUIRES. However for this scheme to be a success and to help in cleaning the industry of rogue agents, allAgents recommend that consumers shortlist one of our 'transparent agents' as your first choice. If however you do choose to contact or use Amberley Estates, please make them aware of the scheme and ask them to get in touch if they want to become a member. - Learn more about 'Transparent Agents'.

The laziness and incompetence displayed by this agency is truly exceptional. They didn't bother chasing the reference agency at the start of the tenancy, I had to do it all myself. Towards the end of the tenancy they repeatedly allowed prospective tenants into my home when I was out, without notifying me. They even left the entrance door unlocked on one occasion. The worst bit came when my deposit was delayed by six weeks because they couldn't be bothered to respond to communications from the DPS (Deposit Protection Service.) I would be surprised if there was a worse estate agency than Amberley.
