Allan is fourth generation in property from a line of surveyors and estate agents, he is a qualified member of the Incorporated Society of Valuers & Auctioneers and is also a member of the National Association of Estate Agents. He started the business in Putney in 1983 and it has given him a chance to build a thriving enterprise based on principles of honest sound advice and providing a real service to all customers.
Having handled all types of property throughout the local area we believe we can give advice to owners and purchasers with a greater depth of knowledge and experience than any other company. A number of properties pass through our hands several times and we hold records on literally thousands of properties which have been on our books, this creates a vast information bank which is especially useful when setting property values...

We've had an excellent experience dealing with Allan Fuller. It was our first time renting a property and both Tertius and Stuart were very helpful and informative throughout the process. Upon moving in we had a problem with the sofa's which was resolved extremely efficiently. We are very happy with our new home and have already recommended Allan Fuller to a number of friends looking to move to the area!

After being relocated from Edinburgh to London I spoke with Stuart at Allen Fuller along with various other members of staff in their office. All were exceptionally professional, knowledgeable and helpful. What I was most impressed with was the way in which they conduct their business. Out of all the estate agents that I have visited over the past 6 months they have been the only ones who seemed genuinely passionate about finding a suitable property that met with our requirements. The honest approach of Stuart and his team helped save time viewing places which would not be suitable which is contrary to other estate agents in the area who seem desperate to show you any property, regardless of whether it is even close to what you are looking for or not.
Allen Fuller were always available and willing to go the extra mile for us and this was supported by the people vacating the property we are moving into who had incidentally just purchased their new house through Allen Fuller.
I would very highly recommend Stuart and his team to anyone looking for a property in the area.

I found the staff at Allan Fuller, Putney, to be honest, conscientious, and pleasant to deal with.
I could imagine them to be a good agent taking care of the tenant's needs without being cold or money grabbing, as some landlords and agents can be.

The team at Allan Fuller were fantastic for us. From the initial valuation to the final sale, and even post sale communications, they all continued to behave in a friendly and professional manner. Considering some of the experiences we had with valuations from other companies, the experience was as different as night and day. I have read about glitches in their letting service but we saw nothing of that - their sales organisation appeared to be a tight ship.
Viewings were arranged in good time, always happened when they said they would and they sold our house within two weeks of going on... (read more)

As with most landlords, experiences with estate agents tend to leave one grey haired and frustrated yet after a trying number of years with a number of Putney based estate agents i have found the one agency which has rekindled my faith in the property management business. Allan Fuller in Putney are outstanding. They proved themselves to me during a challenging experience with another estate agent a few years ago and i havent' looked back since. Allan Fuller have given me the worst experience of estate agents, in fact they have made distrust them and I will think twice before letting from an estate agents. Their communication between team members is appalling and this lead to many complications on several occasions regarding matters of rent, even when we tried and asked them to communicate with us they still failed to. My house mate and myself where also lied to by Allan Fuller and deceived on several occasions costing us our deposit, it would seem they would do anything to get money ! i would advise using a different estate agents or renting privately.

I am surprised by the negative reviews as my experience of Allan Fuller could not have been more different. Back in 1996 they found us a house on the Dover House Estate/Conservation Area, under pretty unusual and urgent circumstances and they actually got us out of a pretty tight spot (chap called Michael).
15 years later we have had our house on sale with them again and I found them to be helpful, courteous, quick to respond to queries. They also moved up a gear again when we had put an offer in on a property, to try to get us an offer much sooner.

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. Appalling service. They do not respond to any emails or phone calls regarding problems or issues with the flat. They are difficult and unpleasant to deal with over the phone, they are argumentative and are in a word lazy. They claim to be extremely busy but they just aren't bothered about doing their jobs which is clearly also evident from the rest of the reviews written about them. Absolutely no respect for anyone. When they put the place back on offer for new tenants the guys that make appointments and bring people round do not keep to the times that you are informed of and are very unpleasant to you while standing at the front door wanting to come in with a prospective tenant, claiming that you must have made the error rather than them. I am absolutely disgusted by their attitudes and would strongly advise you that, however nice a property may be, if it is dealt with by Allan Fuller do not take the property. It is not worth the nightmares you will have with them and there are other nicer and more respectful estate agents in the area.

I have rented a number of properties from a variety of agents and my expectations of the service you receive as a tenant are not high, but even so Allan Fuller failed to meet them.
Whilst the process of signing up to the tenancy was relatively straightforward, once in the flat they routinely ignored all maintenance problems we reported; I lived with a broken window pane in my bedroom for a year, having made a number of attempts to get it fixed before eventually losing the will to live.
When it came to moving out of the property, they arranged viewings at very short notice and gave my contact details to two other agents without telling me. We are now in a fight to get our deposit back over a few very minor issues, despite the fact that new tenants have moved in so it is clearly in a rentable condition.
I appreciate that when renting you don't always have much choice over the agents you use but would advise avoiding Allan Fuller if at all possible.

We rented a 4 bedroom terrace through Allan Fuller in Putney. The service is shocking. They don't respond to emails or phone calls reporting significant problems with the property.
They have regular property inspections during which they find things they need to fix but don't fix them. The next inspection finds the same problems and the cycle repeats. The last one had the audacity to ask us why we hadn't reported the problem they'd noted on 3 previous inspections!
They sent the same tradesman 3 times in 3 months to quote to fix the same problem but it never got fixed.They make appointments and don't turn up.
I could go on forever. I've dealt with many agencies but have never seen one so imcompetent.
Stay clear

I wish I had come across this site before. My partner and I put in an offer to a property in Putney which was accepted. We had to keep calling them to find out if it was accepted.
Allan Fullers said they'd send over the reference forms for us to complete which three days later nothing. We don't even have a moving date confirmed. Nothing in writing whatsoever.
I'm really annoyed as each day I have been constantly calling to speak to the lettings negotiator and keep being fobbed off with he's not in office. We've already put a holding fee down and the property is still registered on their site as to let. The lack of courtsey and help from this company is shocking and I can only hope that you read the reviews here before you get involved with this incompetent agency,
My next step will be to go to the Property Ombudsman if these people do not get in touch with us soon. We have to move soon and this is just adding more stress.

Please don't trust them. I do advice to avoid this place!!!! Helpful before renting, after signing off the contract a real nightmare to deal with!!! Allan himself is dishonest, unprofessional, two-faced, and together with his team they are focused only on money and don't care about people at all. I had the worst time of my life after renting a property via this estate agency. No support from their site.

I attempted to buy a property through Fullers (James). An offer was made and accepted when I received a call from James saying an earlier viewer had made a higher offer. I was not informed that any other prospective purchasers were interested.
During the negotiations I was given conflicting information, the agent repeatedly got my name wrong and I have subsequently found out the property I was interested in is back on the market with Foxtons. I will never use Fullers and I suggest you avoid James.

When I read these online reviews, I always wonder if the person writing the review works for, or is related to, the company. We have no personal connection. We write this because they did a great job for us and we actually looked forward to speaking them (particular credit goes to Matt and Kate for their personal touch). Now that we have moved away from London, I dread speaking to the local agents where we now live. It is a reminder that some agents have not learned the lessons of the crash.
